I gave up on this halfway through the first episode.
One thing that did intrigue me was how they kept hammering home that smoking was a super-elite rich person's hobby to the extent that people on the street were shocked when seeing it. If it is such a big deal, how does this civil servant manage to continuously suck down cigarettes, and what does that tell us about his character other than "he's so cool"?
