You need a better mic

...but why? To be blunt most people who ended up in voice acting are actors who took those jobs to pay the rent and keep the lights on. Most of them have traditional education and training in theater and dramatic arts.

If you really want to be a voice actor that's fine but are you prepared to work in the industry or show business in general? Have you tried MCing events, radio, or anything like that in general? Have you tried doing storytime at you local library or senior home or an audiobook?
