Just because the monster he fought couldn't harm him doesn't mean he can't be harmed by characters that are much stronger than them.
Let's take for example Freeza, he was able to destroy a planet with 10x Earth's mass with 1 finger, and that was using his first form.
He'd also be able to kill Boros in a single hit but that doesn't make him invincible either does it?
Also if he was truly limitless he'd have to be nearly omnipotent which he clearly isn't.

Throwing his clothes to travel in space might work for a bit, but in a fight with someone that doesn't have that handicap he will lose every time.
Also this is already a Saitama wank because we are not even sure if he could survive in space for more than some minutes.

Also if you are going this way, the narrator DID say Garou was breaking his limiter, but did he become limitless? Nope.

Seems about right.

I think after the Darkshine fight, Garou had reached his natural limit. The narration said he was close to breaking it, and in this scene his body was breaking down. But when Garou reached his limit, he didn't push past it like Saitama did. He felt that this was as far as he could go as a human, and so transformed into a monster with a new limit. I think this is addressed after Saitama beat Garou. Saitama told Garou that he lacked the confidence to be a hero so he took the easy way out and became a monster to accomplish his goal.

Saitama actually never saw him as a real monster though.
This theory might still have a little substance but nothing of it is confirmed so we can't really use it as source for an argument.
