It's still pretty heartwarming in context I don't get why people are turning against it all of a sudden. It wasn't just a kiss, it was a hge turning point in their relationship. It had good build up to it.

Yuuri feared the FS so much because a bad performance would also reflect badly on Victor. He got a second chance and not only might he have fucked it up twice he'd also drag down the person who he cared about most. Yuuri overcoming his anxiety for just long enough to give a good performance and ending his performance about love with Victor's signature move was really sweet. Victor being so happy about it that he kisses him was heartwarming.

I'm a Yoifag but it obviously didn't deserve all of these categories. Mob deserved animation 100%.

But people getting butthurt seriously need to remember that this isn't actually saying YoI had the best animation. It's just a popularity contest. Nobody voting really believed that, they just wanted to make it clear how much they liked the parts of the show MAPPA got right, by giving them a clean sweep.

It's not like the other nominations are that undeserved either. I voted for YoI in a few of the categories but not best OP and animation and did not vote for any show in some like best ED. A lot of guys are just mad they can't disregard YoI as just an fujo show anymore now that it sold the most of Fall.

Guys are still trying to argue that fujo's "haven't won" because LLS sold more as if fujos hate Love Live or something. Fujos were never competing against it, that fight is entirely one-sided.

The OP was one of the more original OPs so it stood out more though I preferred Mob's. Best boy is phrased in a way that you should vote for the dreamiest guy instead of the best male protagonist and than it makes sense that the women vote should decide it like the male vote does for best girl. I didn't get that for into Erased to see the homecooked meal scene. Either way I feel like people are using the sadness from that scene to guilt trip people about not voting for it. I find those scenes more sad than heartwarming.
