Videl has always been a perceptive person. She was literally the first one to discover right away Gohan's true identity from all the Saiyaman bullshittery after all.

However, I don't know if I would be giving the Toei's writers too much credit for them to remember that fact, well, that one and them remembering that she also flies.

In any case, Videl seems like the kind of character that would fit as a cop or something.

That's actually a legit argument and I agree, but let's try to see it from her point of view. Has Gohan ever gave her any reasons to doubt him? And I'm not talking about the time they were in high school, because they were obviously getting to know each other. Right now we are in a point in which they have a considerate amount of time together.

Gohan is not like Goku, who sneaks out from work to go train, nor is someone that has the same type of background of Vegeta.

It's a case of Gohan being lucky to have someone as reasonable as Videl and Videl is lucky to have someone as honest as Gohan.

That said, I would have liked Toei to give her a bit more of spunk or her being a bit more upset to spice a bit more the scene before she rips the photos. It would have added to a bit of a nice developmet. But it's surprising they still got her perceptive side right, which >>152393972 and
