Watch it and find out.
She's pales in comparison to the queen
>no thicc eyebrowse

>not drinking tea with Diana
I bet Diana acts like an utter chav and drops the high-class act in private.
"That fakkin' lesbo bint, Akko. Bet she finks she's awl that, innit! Fakkin' wanka probly gettin' 'er minge licked roight nah by that fukkin' ching-ching friend of 'ers. What 'baht me, eh? Why don't any wanka wanna cum 'av a shag wiv me?"
Nah, her medium titties are great. A big butt is the only thing that could make Diana more perfect.
>not giving terrible Finnish "candy" a try, just for Lotte
You guys know no sacrifice
I bet that during the school holidays she hangs around bus stops and the back of TESCO express with her friends dressed in a tracksuit and drinking cheap cider. She'd probably offer to "give your knob a slob" if you go into the off license and buy them something stronger and a couple packs of fags.
In this tweet the executive producer says LWA is getting good TV ratings despite its midnight time slot.
Then in one of the responses someone says It could be rebroadcast in a evening timeslot like K-On! or Nichijou
Then the executive producer says that he thinks LWA should aim for it.
>imp;lying she doesn't use necromancy to get a pig's head to eat her out in private
>Comparing Diana to a filthy mudblood.
Pic related, it's what will happen to this series if Akko's allowed to study magic.
Literally the most comforting face in existence.
Did this really happen or is this an edit?
Shouldn't have wasted my Sucy for my first reply.
She probably has massive daddy issues and would cling obsessively to any man that showed her even the slightest bit of affection, as it was denied to her by her father who only wanted a "perfect child" to continue the family's legacy.
Or not, I don't know.
I know that this is just /pol/ jerking themselves off but didn't the books indicate that blood purity and magical ability have zero correlation? You can either do magic or you can't. Kids of muggle parents are occasionally born and they can do magic just as well as anyone else. Children of at least one magical parent with no ability are extremely rare. Realistically the child of two muggleborns should almost certainly be able to do magic.
Can witches use magic to make your dick bigger?
I can't fathom that we're getting 25 episodes of this glorious anime. It hasn't sunk in yet. No ecchi, no pandering to a certain demographic, just fun for everyone. What did we do to deserve this from trigger?
She is as radiant as ever.
>I bet Diana acts like an utter chav and drops the high-class act in private.
Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
>How come only Scotland gets the non batshit woman in charge?
True, considering Northern Ireland has fucking Arlene Foster who is somehow worse than May.
Only if her tits and ass get bigger and she wears a g-string, and becomes 5ft9in, and grows long blackish blue hair, and wields a sword, and stops being Diana.
"Yew wot? I fort yew sed yew was gunna eat my arsehole like a box of choccies, Anon, you cunt. Wot's the matter, too much of a pansy to tongue my shitter?"
You know a part of you likes it regardless of how irredeemably awful real chavs are.
Can't wait for the inevitable display of yamato damashii
>Why? Why do you keep resisting fate? You're a failure of a witch. Stop embarrassing yourself
"...because a believing heart is MY magic!"
I would actually love this because of the main moral of the show.
post yfw when she gains
What if Shiny Chariot is the villain
Why tho? So she could get revenge for all the old hags who made fun of her?
>in casual clothes
>but witch hats
>post yfw when the comfiest ED played
I never understood that piece of the plot. So we've been told two things: A) That the ability to use magic is innate and is carried through your bloodline, flipping a switch and making you the master race above muggles, and that B) Recognizing or acknowledging this makes you evil, as does concern that if you don't keep your bloodline pure your children will be fucked over and not have your golden genes.
It's literally a story about checking your privilege.
I for one don't understand why keeping ones bloodline pure would have ANY negative connotations in this world. If you don't, you increase the likelihood that your children can't use magic. If your children can't use magic they're totally fucked outsiders. Therefore, it makes sense to look down on people that consort with muggles because they're actively sabotaging their descendants and wasting the efforts of their ancestors.
She has a heart of gold anon, take a look at this and tell me again how she could possibly have any evil intentions.
It was never stated that bloodlines are entirely pure or that new witch families can't be started from new witches. Like Akko is a witch now, and one day she'll start a family. Then in 100 years her great granddaughter will be from a "witch lineage". To me it's more that the Cavendish family just so happens to be really old, and everyone else's are of various histories.
If you weren't a pleb and looked carefully at Episode 2, you can see that Diana was never hostile towards Akko. The only bitches were her followers.
nice discussion about anime and manga!
I don't know why people kept on missing this, perhaps it was too subtle
>the nutshack is a Filipino-american tv show
>sucy is from the Philippines
I'm not talking about LWA, I'm talking about Harry Potter because it's tangentially related.
I'm reasonably certain that anyone can use magic in LWA, the only stumbling block is that you need access to the knowledge (Which is probably hoarded by magic families) and also have access to a ley line if you want to do anything that's not laughable.
Meanwhile in Harry Potter magical affinity is LITERALLY a gene that makes you an ubermensch but it's evil for you to just flat out acknowledge it or try to preserve that position for your family.
we deciphered a language from an anime but we can't decipher the human body language.
it's fucking pottery
So wait, can any kid learn magic as long as they have a working wand and can pronounce the spell correctly?
>akko and friends enjoying their school life
The animation and song makes me smile.
Diana was actually really nice to her, but in her sort of way.
She tried to show her and teach her about magic, she tried to give her a fair advice, and she tried to help her fit in.
She never took any of the many opportunities she had to take a shot on her or even showed any desires to do so at all.
Her attitude was honorable and proper.
I'd even say her pulling off the plant thing on Akko's head was also a nice gesture, because she was looking really dumb with that thing on her.
She also went to try and help the tree with secret magic, such a nice girl.
Diana is a good girl, she's polite, she's honorable, she's kind and she has a good heart.
She's trying her best and she will become a witch, no malice anywhere.
>I'd even say her pulling off the plant thing on Akko's head was also a nice gesture, because she was looking really dumb with that thing on her.
I couldn't stop laughing like a retard at that. The plant just kept growing and growing. It would of been a full flower by the end of the episode if Diana hadn't pulled it off
I think you are taking harry potter too seriously anon.
Why is chariot pretending to be retarded, did you noticed when she caught all those books like a madwoman her eyes gazed towards the other teacher and pretended to trip.
why is she doing this.
>you can see that Diana was never hostile towards Akko
People have been pointing that out for the past 2 days.
Where the hell have you been?
but fucking why
Did anyone else realize that the term in which Akko graduates as a witch is also exactly the 1600th term since Luna Novas fouding?
What does it mean?
Did you not see everyone scoffing when Akko mentioned Shiny Chariot? Shiny Chariot doesn't conform to the Academia's standards. If the professors knew who Ursula was she'd probably get thrown out
About her lackeys, could it be that she has no friends?
Think about it this way, she's from an isolated elitist family and has been raised to be a top tier witch all her life, she's clearly a genius at magic and whenever she participates in class everyone is amazed by her but her social skills don't seem to be good at all.
Look at how clumsy she seemed when she wanted to explain that it wasn't her who did it, but Akko. Or how misinterpreted her towards Akko actions have been by people who actually thought she was trying to be mean.
She might very well suck at socializing and making friends.
Those two shitty lackeys might be trash and subhuman filth but at least they hang around her and keep her company all of the time, they're the closest thing she seems to have to friends. And even then they barely seem to really get along or genuinely get to know each other.
Poor Diana needs to get better friends though.
Friends that will love her for who she is and want to know the real her.
I think he's got the author's viewpoint down pretty well. Generic guilty leftist feeling of deep-down being an adherent of white/western supremacy with pangs of resort and self-hatred because of it.
Not gonna take this any further because offtopic /pol/shit, but it checks out. Especially with the author's recent involvement in the wonderful world of identity politics.
but how can anyone help a witch that spreads the wonders of mahou and kibou,
and giving people kiboners?
Don't bully Hanna and Barbera, they may act like bitches but it's only to cover up for their inadequacies and lack of confidence. They should be helped and nurtured. Maybe Diana will help them after she becomes friends with Akko.
Diana said that magic for showmanship or entertainment was looked down upon in the magic community.
I'd imagine turning an archaic art into a theater show wouldn't rub off well on some of the staff of the school cause they look really old and traditional.
>spreading magic to commoners
so the lackys ruin everything for diana?
god fucking dammit
Thankfully this place will be destroyed soon.
>the only stumbling block is that you need access to the knowledge (Which is probably hoarded by magic families)
Seeing how they even have leaflets with info about the school available for outsiders, I don't think it's especially protected.
>Diana said that magic for showmanship or entertainment was looked down upon in the magic community.
I'd imagine turning an archaic art into a theater show wouldn't rub off well on some of the staff of the school cause they look really old and traditional.
why don't they get with the fucking times, when I watched that shiny chariot scene I felt I was in the audience witnessing that spectacle.
it was great.
>you're a new girl at Luna Nova
>arrive at your bedroom for the first time
>see one of your roommates lying on her bed
How does Luna Nova suppress Lesbians in the 3-person bedrooms and an all-girl magical boarding school?
>Meanwhile in Harry Potter magical affinity is LITERALLY a gene that makes you an ubermensch but it's evil for you to just flat out acknowledge it or try to preserve that position for your family.
>or try to preserve that position for your family.
There's no evidence that magical affinity is diluted by having children with muggleborns - half-bloods have exactly the same magical ability as pure-bloods, while magical ability occurs randomly in muggleborns all the time. When 'squibs' appear very rarely there's no evidence of it having any relationship to blood type - the examples of it occurring in the books where we know the blood linage come from pure-blood families (One of the Blacks, a distant Weasely cousin)
Based on that, we can conclude magic affinity is a completely dominant, if unpredictable, genetic trait - once you have it, it can't be diluted and would only disappear through the same random mutation that results in muggleborns. It's not a case of purebloods 'preserving' it so much as restricting it from others. In my headcanon, purebloods families were historically consolidated and maintained as a tradition after people realized that an exponential increase in the amount of wizards every generation was leading to a lot of family strife and chaos generally.
Have you seen the older witches?
In the old days this wasn't a problem because the witches looked so hideous even witches didn't want to be around them.
But with these new batches of cuties it's going to become a serious issue soon.
So only girls can use magic in this universe?
Heres a question,
what made chariot lose her shiny road?
hard mode: do not say "she stopped believing herself"
>Akko will be helping the school behind the scenes while the school misinterprets it and credits Diana
>only Diana realizes Akko's courage and brilliance as she's shunned by the public
>Akko is about to be expelled after a brief misconception after preventing another disaster
>Diana steps in to stop the expulsion
I wanna see this happen.
it was probably intentionally left in that forest that nobody is supposed to go in for some kind of mcguffin reason that will come up later in the series
since akko removed it it was too late to put it back, so now chariot is gonna mentor whoever removed it so she can finish whatever job she couldn't
Does this count as age-gap yuri?
I mean, she's clearly going to figure out Ursula-sensei is Shiny Chariot.
The men are all too busy learning actually useful things like chemical engineering to bother with anything as gender studies tier as magic. What can a diploma in magic even get you?
>What can a diploma in magic even get you?
A stage show in Vegas, a guest role on a pretty neat sci-fi show and immortality as a meme.
It wasn't left there.
It was nowhere to be found, like Shiny Chariot herself, the staff had disappeared from this world.
It was laying dormant in an alternate layer of reality waiting for the day when its next chosen one would appear to manifest itself to her and only her in the time when her true potential was finally awakened.
The time was then.
Akko's pure spirit, her altruistic desire and her shiny energy were all at the right levels, the situation called for it, and so the shiny rod came to her new master.
Akko for lewd
>these threads actually got better
I guess believing really is mahou
he's that toenail clipper guy from hey arnold
If there is a Witch academy, there has to be a Warlock school somewhere.
>Summon a guy who's only famous for getting his ass handed to him time and time again and for being literally eternally salty about it.
For what purpose? So he can whine about how unfair his dad's being?
The wizard academy is actually appears only to those who turned 30 and never had the experience once
Social pressure and no public support from the witches in her 'mission' caused her faith to falter and so Shiny Rod loses it's potency at the worst possible time that caused irreversible damage to her career. She had no choice but to give up and throw away Shiny Rod out of frustration so she buried her past as Shiny Chariot and went incognito.
Sucy could make that in half as much time without the diploma if she keeps practising her pole dancing skills as shown here >>152362382
Studying magic seems like an excuse to just piss about and talk about your feeling while avoiding getting a real job at all costs for a couple of years.
I wonder if they'll ever do a "Warlocks come on a school trip, Warlocks vs Witches sports event" episode.
Normally I would doubt it because a show with cute girls tends to avoid showing male characters.
But since trigger is not really trying to fit into that mold 100% they might break a few of the rules and go for it anyway.
I think it would be quite fun as long as they don't go into retarded sex wars bullshit and keep it as a school vs school rivalry thing and with a light hearted tone.
Maybe Succy will poison their mascot.
>hard mode: do not say "she stopped believing herself"
There isn't much room for speculation since things are blatantly spelt out for the viewer.
1. It stopped working for Chariot.
This is a fact, literally stated.
2. Because (reason)
It works for Akko who is in love with magic and believes super hard, so it's safe to say it doesn't work for the opposite situation. Ergo it doesn't work if you stop believing. They slap it on your face many times, the real witches mock Chariot's way of doing things, and now she is a teacher. It couldn't be more obvious the critique eventually got to her.
3. So she threw it away or put it away somewhere.
I get what you're saying, but you'll need to put in effort too. The age of free rides is over, snookums. You fucked up. You wasted your chances. It's not your fault, but still.
>Why do you think people keep using Ursula's physical features to connect her to Chariot, instead of the really obvious story clues?
Or the fact that you know
>Dat glorious fiery mane
Don't worry, he's full of bullshit.
Those Akko thighs and butt shots didn't draw themselves.
They're totally pandering and giving fanservice, they're just not dropping it like a blunt anvil on our heads with it.
I bet Chariot really just wanted to impress someone like say, an older sister or mother but they ended up being disgusted by her more modern outlook and cast her aside.
>nobody is supposed to go
They said normal witches couldn't get in. So is a perfect hiding place for a powerful arctifact. the fact that the rod can open portals to the forest and somehow opened one for Akko means she was choosen and not just stumbled on it for random chance.
Or her family threatened to disown her for disregarding witch rules
How did Chariot do the show if she needs to be close to a magic hotspot? Or did she only do the one show at that one spot and get famous off of that alone?
Who meme subs here?
I don't think parents will buy it. I also don't remember when was the last time a show was sold by fanservice, it's all old timers like To Love-Ru. Fucking GuP had a no-pantsushots policy set by director and it's one of the best selling shows of 10s.
Fanservice doesn't just mean "panty shots", I hope you realize this.
Making a case that LWA will sell well as a late night anime with no specific appeal because it's supposed to be 'family friendly' is stupid.
GuP had something for everyone. It's a thorough-bred black horse even during its initial broadcasting.
Also Saki best GuP.
>Lotte is best
At last, someone with discerning taste emerges. I salute you, good sire.
Do you want her to suck your dick or lick your asshole?
>Fanservice doesn't just mean "panty shots", I hope you realize this.
I wasn't the one who said that it will flop without ecchi and pandering.
>anime with no specific appeal
Pixiv likes it.
If you have to ask, you'll never understand.
she's the most attractive witch
Her design is simple but cute. All the witches have their own witch 'theme' and hers resembles close to a traditional disney sorceress.
So far only Konosuba is more popular this season.
The point wasn't pixiv = success. It just indicates that people who watch midnight anime might actually like LWA as well.
But how can we bully if they are all equal?
The flip flappers have embraced LWA!
Hopefully this one won't flop....
If AOTY 2016 and 2017 both flop anime is fucking dead to me.
They're going with aptitude being something required and that they can somehow measure (which is how Akko got admitted), but that it tends to run in families. So you could chalk it up to a nature vs. nurture thing if you wanted.
Tomboys are bros you can marry
It's based on a concept art. I said witch theme but Sucy's and her mom's really stands out among the cast. It must be the fact that her slouch stance makes her looks like a mushroom stalk or ghost. AS for Lotte, she looks like a country bumpkin dork with a siren's voice. Akko's a modernized witch in casual clothing while Diana and the teachers draw from traditions.
She's perfect. I'm falling in love.
Still too many humans
Get shit done - Pyramids, Colloseum, pretty much everything built 1000+ years ago that's still standing
>>treating other people like second class citizens
There's an upper class and a lower class and always will be even without racism
>>generally mean and nasty
Okay, that one's pretty fair.
/a/ is the only place were I can say I like lolis and want to fuck them.
Like loli Akko for example, that girl as a kid was cute as fuck.
Tomboys are bros with a vagoo that you can put your penis in.
Best tier: Amanda, Ursula, Lotte
Good tier: Costanze, Diana, Sucy
Meh tier: Akko, Jasmine
Shit tier: Diana's parasites
>But there are no tomboys in this show, are there?
What about love, headpats, cards
a bit of sexand teaching magic?
You can't I would do anything wrong there.
She's literally Ryuuko 2.0, anon.
Only considerably more confident in her sexuality.
>>criminal tomboy sexual deviant thief
Irish-American, anon. This distinction explains all.
>shallow one dimensional bitch
Rescind that statement immediately.
Now that I think about it, I wonder if we're going to get some Amanda/Diana shipping in this show.
People already naturally ship American and British characters together. But their conflicting personalities could be used as a foil between each other in the show for interactions.
You guys have no idea how Tomboys work.
Did you guys already discussed the possibility that Diana has the ultra rare card Akko is missing in her collection?
And that Diana is going to give it to Akko to signify the start of their friendship?
Because that's what is totaly going to happen.
but who will akko take to the witches' prom?
amanda or diana????
LWA came out before KLK and Diana was heavily hinted at as an antihero due to her appearance in Shiny Chariot's audience. These characters have been written for at least 4 years.
>These characters have been written for at least 4 years.
>LWA has been around for almost half a decade
I like this little bit someone came up with
>Diana gives Akko her card
>Akko freaks out over her giving her something so rare
>Diana says "Don't mention it" and walks away
>Whispers underneath her breath "I have like 4 more of them anyway.
