I don't use lights, but I have been thinking about it.
Yes, glass doors are good for slowing the accumulation of dust, but they cover the very middle of the shelf with their frames and don't completely touch together.

Unlike a detolf, the billy is much more stable and the shelves are also adjustable. I highly recommend using them over detolfs as long as you don't have any extremely large figures that need lots of depth in a display case as the billy bookcase is a tad shallow.

I use the bottom shelves for boxes, artbooks, and other misc collectibles.

Ikea has a different set of glass doors that appear to close together completely, but they don't have them in stock at my Ikea, and I'm not willing to pay 200 in shipping for a couple of doors.

I'm wondering if it'd be possible get an extruded L shaped bit of metal and bolt it or epoxy it on and cover that gap.
