New chapter out!
Why is Roswaal such a dick?
Can Gaaf be redeemed?
What is this Subaru and Otto villain foreshadowing?
Was comforting Emilia all a part of some twisted kekaiku?
Would you a Ram even if she had clown cock?
When your keikaku is meant to save a whole settlement worth of people from getting ass-raped by rabbits, and then another group of people you like, it's hard to call it an evil keikaku.
But yeah, Mitsubishi is totally employing Emilia in his great keikaku.
>Implying the dick doesn't make it better
Also happy birthday Felix
>When will Felix and Subaru hookup
Re: Zero has a lot of twists and there is definitely some heavy sexual tension between them. Hopefully this happens
The baby came from felix's boipucci. Subaru can't give birth, he's a man that wouldn't make any sense.
What part of boipucci do you not understand? It's pucci on a boi. You know where babies come from right? Same concept
Parts 5-6 of the "Heroic tale starting from Zero" have been translated by Remon.
[Subaru: I didn’t think we’d meet a pervert painted in white clown make-up.]
[Ram: Barusu. I will not forgive disrespecting Roswaal-sama. I’ll twist and cut your thing off.]
[Subaru: You’ve also made the same offensive of noticing Ros-chi’s current look, and what exactly are you going to cut off?]
[Ram: Hm, I wonder what…….]
Nee-sama shaw perform castration if necessary.
>[Rem: I was a little anxious. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to protect Subaru-kun empty-handedly when we come across people like that, after all.]
>[Subaru: You say that you were anxious, but that was a serious, good straight right.]
>[Rem: Subaru-kun, you’re making me blush with how you’re praising me that much.]
>Subaru nods at Rem, who put her hands on her blushed cheeks, and he looks at the forest that the white clothed people ran from, although they didn’t look like mere thieves.
Look at that foreshadowing
I'm now imagining the series ending like it was a story being told by Liliana, the story of Subaru the man of the stars.
This is a pretty nice prelude to arc5 in general actually. Introduces some of the new characters and some of their backstory (which should streamline the LN version a bit) and some (pretty obvious in retrospect) foreshadowing.
Also i just noticed the three headed dragon in the background. I wonder if the dragon who provides a covenant and protection for those who he made a deal with is like that, or completely different.
>The feudal lord’s attendant male servant that sensed the disaster that would happen in the village before anything happened, the person who risked his life to stop the mabeasts from causing damage, the person that protected the citizens’ safety and trust──who would believe in that guy? Such blasphemy.
>[Rem: I was serious…...too bad you won’t believe me.]
>Rem feels discouraged, hanging her head, and she really did look disappointed, so Subaru started to feel sorry.
>Subaru was confident that he wasn’t great enough as a man to be rewarded with that much pure trust.
>The “Return by Death” ability was Subaru’s unique last bit of hope in this different world──however even when he had that power, there were many times when Subaru couldn’t save the swirl of tragedies at the village and the mansion.
>If it was someone else, that person would do a better job. That type of evaluation of himself was rooted within him.
>[Subaru: No matter how I die, the pain is the same. …….Even if I could save & reload more easily, Heaven wouldn’t punish me.]
Subaru talks himself down quite a bit doesn't he?
>Subaru was confident that he wasn’t great enough as a man to be rewarded with that much pure trust.
>If it was someone else, that person would do a better job. That type of evaluation of himself was rooted within him.
I wonder who this parallels with
>Subaru: “You amazing guy, you're my only hope, super duper you can do it.”
>Otto: “Some overwhelmingly blank encouragements, those! I could feel the air going leaden!”
>Otto swings his arms from up to down, Subaru watching over the overreaction, his gratitude for Otto's assistance secretly infinite. But since saying so would be embarrassing, Subaru figures to never ever mention it and take it to his grave.
>Subaru: “Anyway, great to hear your preparations're chugging ahead. How're things progressing for the other one, by the way? Looking usable?”
>Otto: “That one is... there's tricky parts for that one, with the short time limit. There simply isn't enough time. If I cut into my sleeping hours I might be able to make it on the day after tomorrow... would perhaps be it.”
>Subaru: “You're cutting down your sleeping hours for me? You're so hardworking I'm speechless.”
>Otto: “Nnghaah! A can of worms!”
When did Subaru become so sarcastic?
Every thread until Rem wakes up.
Why? Rem wearing armor will likely lessen her mobility and maneuver which are actually her major strengths. So I don't think Subaru would force Rem to sacrifice her agility especially when Subaru himself also values it over body protection (the fact that Subaru decides to choose light weapon like whip and practices parkour proves this).
How can Emilia evere hope to beat the oni pussy?
The real shame is there aren't doujin featuring her demon powers
Every thread until Crusch-sama gets her memories back.
>Subaru: “Let's return to the topic. Your gospel has a writ saying IT SNOWS. We'll assume that
fundamentally it means for Emilia to cause the snow. Emilia can't, or otherwise won't do that, andyou cause the snow in her place. Following, the gospel's writ.”
>Roswaal: “You are repeating yourself. Hasten to the conclusion. Where is the failing, the defect in...”
>Subaru: “Meaning that basically, should Emilia not cause the snow, you would not cause the snow either, if you didn't have the gospel. Snow would not fall in SANCTUARY, is also what it means.”
>It's a clean conclusion.
>Roswaal brings the snowfall because there is a gospel writ saying to. If the gospel had not writ it, or if the gospel had not existed, then Roswaal would have no reason to enact it.
Damn, that's a cool twist. Never would have noticed that.
What translator group do I need to
bribeto get this translated in english?
>That segment with Roswaal and Ram in the dark room being intimate and talking about Keikaku.
This feels fairly disgusting.
>Roswaal: “When he learns that that virtue-loving girl had heard that conversation and all its underhanded plotting... just what in the world will Subaru-kun's expression beeeeeeeeee?” oh my is he referring to Emilia?
fuck for me for not knowing how to greentext
>Roswaal: “When he learns that that virtue-loving girl had heard that conversation and all its underhanded plotting... just what in the world will Subaru-kun's expression beeeeeeeeee?”
oh my is he referring to Emilia?
Rem would be a Berserker.
>Inori Minase doing Shuten's lines with her Rem voice
I kinda wish he had more witch interactions, they were a fairly fun bunch.
Cant wait for Emilia flipping her shit next chapter
Well, that's certainly not an ordinary dragon, by any means. Certainly not something like the common animals we see pulling carts.
Rem is strong, and well-made armor doesn't hamper mobility. The way we've seen Rem fight, she really could use armor. She tanks way too many hits, and it actually hurts her mobility. When she went to try and rescue Subaru from Betelgeuse, she was supposed to be practically limping along and fighting through the pain.
With a little bit of armor on the torso, that knife to the back could have been deflected. A bit of armor on the arms would help her deflect attacks a little better. Some armor on the legs would actually help her preserve her mobility by avoiding damage to her legs. Armor isn't all that heavy, especially for a super-strong Oni. Rem could probably wouldn't lose any mobility at all.
Subaru doesn't really have the right stamina or training to deal with armor, and he's not a good fighter in standard combat.
Well, I've always assumed that the Gospels kind of work to manipulate their user. The Witch Cult's gospel might say "this is how you get what you want, I promise", but that's just the carrot-on-a-stick. The dark artifact of evil always promises you your desires, whether it be riches, power, or something more personal, while using you for some other purpose.
This is part of my theory on how it works, I didn't really expect it to be brought up. I feel like the Gospel is running the opposite experiment as Betty's but with the same general conclusion. Too much vs too little information and what the test subjects do with that or how long it takes them to realize that neither Gospel will give them what they want. 400 years and counting.
WN is further ahead and is available free online. LN changes some details for various reasons. Sometimes the changes make sense for pacing reasons. Sometimes you're left confused as to why something was changed.
WN is (on hiatus) almost finished with Arc 6.
LN is halfway through Arc 4.
LN is slightly more polished, it also trims down Arc 4. A lot.
WN Arc 4 is larger than Arc 1 + Arc 2 + Arc 3
LN Arc 4 will be around the size of Arc 3 or Arc 5
Also, LN downplayed some Subaru x Rem scenes
This is my theory here, and one that I'll be sticking to. The Gospels clearly don't reveal every minor little detail they must be aware of to come to their conclusions about the future. There is more going on under the surface.
The Gospels do not simply inform you on the future, they guide you towards a specific one. Roswaal's Gospel isn't a handy prediction book. It exists to control him. He and the Bishops are all basically puppets of their Gospels, which aren't necessarily passive forces in directing the future. They could very well have been instilled with an agenda.
>almost finished with Arc 6.
Stop this shit. Arc 6 is maybe around a third of the way through. It's still in the stages where it's setting up the various plot elements, and the major antagonizing force has yet to even appear. That would be like saying Arc 4 was almost done by the time Subaru had his first conversation with Echidna.
So what didn't Clown want Subaru to see in the gospel? Sordid details of Ram honking? Given the level of detail on the rabbit thing does it just give the vague 'Ram climaxes 4 times' and let him figure it out?
Nah. Someone else has been making the Cultist's Gospels, and one must consider where the Gospels are drawing their information from in the first place. Of course, Echidna does seem to be aware of various details of the future, so she probably does have one of the major keikaku master roles. However, she's smart enough to not rely overly on her own Gospel, so she probably avoids self-fulfilling prophecy traps and remains in control.
>she's smart enough to not rely overly on her own Gospel
She doesn't have a Gospel per se. Her Book of Wisdom knows anything that has already happened, and from that seems to be able to generate some predictions of the future, which is what a gospel is. She doesn't like using it because she doesn't like spoilers basically.
Basically, the more recent LNs seem to be a lot vaguer about things that came up in scenes the anime cut. Those cut scenes are still in the earlier volumes, but it seems like the LN was edited to not confuse people who were just jumping in at where the anime left off.
The result is a little funny to read, since it still feels like Subaru loves Rem. It's just being very awkward about directly stating it, but the wording still heavily implies it. Basically, it just makes Subaru, and everyone around him, look like more of a pussy about it. I mean, Petra comments on how selfish he is to "care deeply" about more than one person. Other people make similar comments.
It's pretty easy to tell what they really mean.
>Petra comments on how selfish he is to love more than one person. [I guess this was the original scene]
Just to be clear, how many people are giving Subaru shit for working both sides of the street?
Personally, I think it's exactly as I said. The plot point of Subaru loving Rem can't exactly be taken back now. The confession scene is still in the LN. Even people who don't like Rem much admitted it was unchanged.
However, in both the LN and WN, Subaru kind of awkwardly flopped about discussing his love for Rem before Gluttony got her. He was too embarrassed to say it in front of Felix, who already saw them about to makeout. Chances are the LN is making the scenes mesh smoother as a continuation of the anime by prolonging Subaru's cowardice in this regard.
That also means that certain conversations might be moved around for dramatic purposes.
Nah. There was no original scene with Petra. However, the scene where Emilia asks if he's a cheater was changed to her saying that he was saying some "selfish things". Emilia doesn't seem to give him much shit for it other than that. Ram is always the one who gives Subaru the most shit. I'm pretty sure she gets annoyed when he flirts with Emilia in the presence of Rem's body, and may have actually kicked him out of the carriage for that in one scene of Arc 6.
>and may have actually kicked him out of the carriage for that in one scene of Arc 6.
Why is Ram so based?
>Ram is always the one who gives Subaru the most shit. I'm pretty sure she gets annoyed when he flirts with Emilia in the presence of Rem's body, and may have actually kicked him out of the carriage for that in one scene of Arc 6.
>I'm pretty sure she gets annoyed when he flirts with Emilia in the presence of Rem's body,
Implying him flirting with Emilia wasn't him trying to be the hero Rem wanted him to be in some twisted way. His entire desperate need to be the hero in this little play is the only thing keeping him sane and the thing that the only woman he's ever loved and loved him back loved about him.
Kind of fucked if you think about it.
Nee-sama is always based. I think she'd be a pretty fun influence on the relationship dynamic.
Eh, I don't think I'd go that far.
>may have actually kicked him out of the carriage for that in one scene of Arc 6.
She wants mommy Echidna back into her life.
>Not wanting to see Rem wear a magic nullifying cloak
Poor taste anon.
Best Witch is equivalently the shittiest mother in the world.
So the Ferris' birthday Q&A got translated.
One of the questions was, "why is he not a girl" and the answer was, "I wanted a trap character" with the (mostly unsolicited) addition of, "I'm not going to retcon him female just to pair him with Subaru"
I keep seeing people say this whenever it comes to Subaru and Rem romance in the LN, but how much of this is true exactly? Are the changes going to be enough to make the "cuckqueen" meme go away or are they still going to make no difference?
>Subaru: “I'm going to undo that curse. I'm dragging her out of that stinking room, and hanging her and the books and her dress all out to dry in the sun together. —Whether or not she's repaid is up to her, afterwards.”
Would this be a good decision?
Holy shit I need more of this Subaru
He is so fucking based
When she finds someone with just a big of a dick, if not bigger. Can't just go around throwing that kind of pleasure away.
>Otto not sleeping to do all the shit Subaru asked him
>that smoothtalk putting his life on the line
>Subaru making Roswaal lose his shit
Fucking amazing. these two are such a good duo
I want to help you, but spoonfeeding is bannable.
>Spoonfeeding is bannable
What? I never saw any of that on the rules. Neither global nor /a/ rules state anything against linking things. Unless it breaks local or united states laws, and i'm i'm fairly sure all the arc 4 translations are under fair use since they come from the equivalent of a fanfiction website.
I think you're mistaken, he never murdered her, but he did
strangle her before the pain from overusing the authorities kicks in.
They were in an area dense of witch miasma that made everyone off the handle. Ram was particularly aggressive in questioning his feeling towards her sister implying he was acting just to get in her bed and he snapped.
In the Echidna AU, Subaru resolved Arc 4 in a different manner than the canon universe. In Beatrice's case he
forcefully removes her from the library without giving her a choice, convinced that whatever emotional pain she suffers from the act she'll eventually get over it. 2 years later, she holes herself in a replica library, completely shut out from the outside world. When Subaru goes to have a friendly talk with her during the day the AU chapter takes place, she responds by scratching and clawing him to the point to draw blood.
Every character in the Emilia Camp that appears in the AU chapter is shown having a messed up relationship with Subaru. The only one that he hasn't completely screwed his relationship up with is
Petra, but even then the ending of the chapter makes that fact quite depressing.
OK so these threads are getting worse and worse over time. The only reason we keep up with them is because based summaryanon keeps delivering. I think we should only hold the threads once a week or so, and keep up with the individual chapter translations ourselves, that's basically what I've been doing for the last couple weeks or so.
Having less threads will keep up the quality and quantity of posting, hopefully.
Considering she act this way about a stranger she acknowledges as her sister, I wonder what will she do after regaining her true feelings towards Rem
The threads are fine by /a/ standards honestly. Just to go any other thread and it's the exact same shit.
At least we try to speculate more on how the story may proceed.
Hopefully it's the former because the latter really makes Subaru look like a psychopath. I mean I do know Subaru loves Rem a lot, but strangling Ram just because she talked trash about him and Rem is just too much and it will leave a sour taste in my mouth.
But then, I might have underestimated Subaru's love for his Oni.
>the latter really makes Subaru look like a psychopath.
By the time Subaru and Ram came to blow, that timeline was basically a write-off.
Everyone was badly injured, there was no chance of reconciliation, and Ram had killed Anastasia/Scarf'dna/their guide.
The timeline is like this
>They go down miasma corridor
>Walk for like hours through cloying miasma
>Pointless argument starts between Ram and Subaru
>Subaru attacks Ram
>Ram manages to repel Subaru
>Scarf intervenes with diplomacy
>Diplomacy is at an impasse. Scarf stabs Ram, presumed dead, and reattempts diplomacy with Subaru
>Subaru acts like he is accepting the diplomacy while secretly going to strangle Scarf with IP
>Ram disembowels Scarf before he can.
>Scarf stabs Subaru before dying
>Ram moves to kill Subaru. Subaru attempts IP to kill her but is debilitated by feedback
>Patrasche eats Ram's skull before Ram can kill Subaru
>Time period of Patrasche eating Ram and Subaru being fucked up from IP feedback
>Subaru recognizes that Patrasche is there and tries to mount her to escape
>Realizes that Patrasche ate Ram
>Patrasche eats Subaru
The other witches are not related to the cult.
The cult is centered around Satella only, and the cultists destroy anything related to the other witches if they find it. Satella may possibly not even be the one wishing for a cult in her name.
The author has stated many ominous things but some of them give hope for a possible good or at least bittersweet ending. Like how a journey is only worthy of a good ending if it was hard to reach that point.
Arc 6 is still in the set up stages, the main conflict has yet to appear, and Subaru is still basically just checking to see where everything is and what it does. While it was challenging and took a lot of deaths to get to the tower itself, all of those scenarios were relatively short.
There was a fight with a bear, with the checkpoint set just as Julius and Emilia pulled it, and Subaru had to order a retreat and find a countermeasure after getting sniped by Shaula a few times. That's not exactly main conflict material. That's sort of a minute-long loop. Other deaths were from getting killed by monsters or eaten by Patrasche. None of them were particularly challenging puzzles that took much time to figure out.
Rather, that recent slew of deaths feels like it's just part of the buildup, as that kind of stuff strengthens his miasma and connection to the Witch. It's probably no coincidence that he started seeing the Bishops in his dreams.
So far the information that has been presented is that they're in the Pleiades Observation Tower, which seems to automatically collect information on everyone and everything in the world. If you can find what you're looking for. There are various challenges they're expected to take to unlock parts of the tower. Shaula has various rules that restrict them.
That's pretty much where everything left off.
This is just too cute and adorable. I really hope Rem will wake up with her memory unchanged so that she can have happy reunions with Ram and Subaru.
But knowing Tappei, he will probably pull the not-so-surprise amnesia trick and cockblock them, which is disappointing but needed for plot development.
Speaking of which, say Rem wakes up and loses all her memory about Subaru, what will be the chances of Subaru pursuing the amnesiac Rem and being able to make her fall in love with him again? You know like how Okabe did to Kurisu in S;G. Will Subaru be devoted enough to Rem to make her fall for him or will Subaru just move on and accept Emilia to be his only love interest?
>say Rem wakes up and loses all her memory about Subaru
Then he just needs to find her book and tell her to read it. Considering the tower's defenses, it'd probably offer similar protection as Betty's room and would be unaffected by Gluttony. The tower apparently collects all of the world's knowledge, so Rem should have a book with all of her memories.
The name would be harder to fix. If the tower does have books containing complete unaltered memories, then everyone there should have what they need to recover their memories of Rem by reading their own books. If they can find them.
I depends, though if Rem would come back without memories Subaru will most likely try to reconnect with Rem, but the most impact on plot development would be her name, as it would coincide with a number of things Ram says.
>but needed for plot development.
It really isn't. A good writer knows not to introduce pointless concepts, and hardly anything has come up from Betty being shielded from Gluttony. Though it was Arc 5 that solidly confirmed that it was the archive that protected her, and nothing special about herself.
That is to say, the concept of areas safe from Gluttony has been introduced. We can infer that the Tower of Pleiades is likely to be one such place. The tower is basically all-seeing and is implied to have information stored on literally everyone. It's not just memories of people from 400 years ago, but more recent people as well.
So, what functional role will any such books be able to provide in progressing the story? Of course, I very much doubt it'll be that simple, but those will probably be part of figuring everything out.
Oh okay. I really wonder if the twins' relationship will be able to bounce back to normal if Rem happens to lose either her memory or her name. Or will it get worse since Ram still doesn't remember a thing about her sister? Not to mention Rem will be heartbroken as hell once she realizes Ram no longer sees Rem the way she did before.
Well that and Rem's relationship with Subaru will suffer too because Rem will have a hard time being close to Subaru for having yet to gain trust from other people.
There's probably going to be some awkwardness, even if they both remember one another.
Now, I'm personally only wondering about one thing. See, Ram wants to be there when they have a showdown against Gluttony, but Ram is only rarely ever brought along with the team because of her condition. She lacks stamina and needs life support to survive. That's my main reason for thinking that Gluttony might manage to infiltrate the tower or something, because there are few other opportunities for them to confront Ram. Well, other than an assault on the manor at some later date.
Subaru better fucking be outside taking a leak or Garf/Ram better have knocked him out and dragged him off or I'm going to be pissed. He has one fucking job, what's he even going to do in the middle of the night?
We don't really know much. She's one of the older bishops, alongside Betelgeuse and Regulus, but lacks bodyhopping or time stop. As such, the reason for her lifespan must be natural. Her only visible features are her mouth and amethyst eyes, the same eye color as Emilia and Fortuna's.
So yeah, she's got a fairly decent chance of being Fortuna. I suppose she could also be another Half-Elf who was subjected to the ordeal, and her compatibility with the Witch Factor tested.
>>152379489 Barusu wasn't supposed to stay with EMT through the night, he was supposed to stay until she falls asleep.
Which he did. She's flipping out because Roswaal recorded the discussion from that chapter and sent it to her in a dream.
Remember, the clown fished for Barusu to say, "Puck's contract breaking was according to my plan."
It's funny that I can't actually decide whether "taking a leak" would be better or worse than what actually happened.
It's possible, but it may also be a red herring. Her 'relationship' with Pete and her eye color are the biggest hints, but the latter is only mentioned in a random story Tappei posted on twitter, and Tappei said that stuff in that story is subject to change. Still, it's the most likely theory about Sirius as of now.
>Emilia: “Hold my hand. Can you please say here until morning? If you do, then I'll definitely...”
>Emilia: “Stay like this until morning—Subaru.”
>Subaru: “All right. —I will, Emilia.”
>Emilia: “...I trust you.”
Staying until she fell asleep was last time.
All according to keikaku doori.
Why is it so easy for him to ignore things Emilia says? I feel really bad for her. He's even realized he was still kind of being an ass in arc 3+ at this point and he still does it.
He does it for the potato, and he doesn't just casually make and break promises with her either. At this point he needs to drop Emilia because he treats her like crap for no good reason. If that's what #1 gets you I'd rather be #2
He can only stay until the sun rises with precious potatoes, telling them about his day.
>Can stay hours upon hours talking to the blueberry
>Can't handle a night of staying at Emilia's side
Really makes you think.
He does make promises casually with potato. The difference is he keeps his promises to her.
To be fair, he did actually have a reason this time. Whether it's a "good" reason is, uh, questionable.
I'm still debating whether taking a leak would have been funnier in the end.
>He can only stay until the sun rises with precious potatoes
Holy shit did Subaru even get enough sleep at all? And more importantly, did Subaru even spend that much time with Emilia?
She still doesn't mind if you praise her, tho' .
>But you do it for that sleeping girl!
>Yeah, but she's a precious blueberry.
>So this world doesn't have constellations? Well I just had a brilliant idea Emilia-tan, let's start making some! Those ones which look like two people holding hands are like us, we'll call it 'Natsuki Subaru PLUS Emilia-tan, every night date night!'
I'm stuck at work at midnight doing a software release. Post precious potato to give me energy.
Seeing Subaru already treating Emilia like crap even when Rem is still a potato makes me worried about Subaru and Emilia's relationship once Rem wakes up.
>Emilia-tan do you realize how BORING it is to sit around doing nothing for 8+ hours? Now stargazing, that's something I could do all day, or actually not but you get what I mean.
I think he's referring to one of the break time shorts. Subaru starts asking if they change the bathwater between baths, Roswaal makes some vague reference to maybe thinking the same way when he was younger, Ram is outside looking disgusted at Barusu denying that he was thinking about drinking Emilia's bathwater.
The only thing helping me handle this overtime is to imagine Rem telling me to hang in there.
Nah, I ain't Remon. Just a SW engineer on version release day.
And he loves Rem way more than I do, anyways.
I don't get you guys what crap he did to her ? she told him hold me hands all the night but dude have important stuff to do people may get killed again he don't have time to watch the world burn while playing romance with half elf tan
>She hated lies. She detested lies. Lies were entirely sad things. Lies were the reason behind
everything which hadn't gone her way. Lies were making Emilia alone. She hated lies.
Detested lies. Detested liars.
Good fucking job Subaru
>Everybody is just a stupid ▓▓▓▓.
>Promises to stay through the entire night
>Can't even keep that promise with Emilia
Subaru you fucking retard.
>Otto: “That Lewes-san apparently went missing this morning. Garfiel is searching through the village, his expression frantic. This is how he's looking to talk to you.”
Is grandma Lewes perma-dead? Please say it isn't so.
>Everybody is just a stupid ▓▓▓▓.
>Subaru is a prick
Why is Subaru so fucking shit? He would go dick someone else if he ever got bored of oni. That's just how he is. A cunt. Rem is too good for him.
>Like its a normal habit
You had one job Subaru
>Early morning has just passed. In the old world it would be approximately 8 AM. The evacuees and residents have woken up, and the men are at the waterhole, just done washing off their sweat from the night.
>And then Ram magnificently showed up and fired off that question.
>The presence of a woman here as if that is natural flusters some of the men, who swiftly evacuate, but Subaru has no time to tease them for it.
Can we all take time to appreciate that Subaru and Ram give no shits? With Subaru wanting to tease the guys who got flustered?
Ferri deserves all the happiness there is in the world.
Well Ram has already seen his dick once, so he probably doesn't really give a shit anymore.
And of course Ram wouldn't care about seeing random old village dudes when she gets the BCC every night.
If you're talking about the scene you quoted, the LNs aren't anywhere near up to that part yet.
But I remember it mentioned in Volume 10 that Subaru would visit Rem whenever he had the time (pic sort off related).
or are you talking about something else?
>Subaru: “Could she've stepped outside a second for nature's call, or...?”
>Ram: “Do you think I am careless enough that I would have neglected to check the surroundings along the way here?”
>Subaru: “That wasn't, what I... but, if that wasn't it, then...”
>Ram: “You truly do not understand?”
This guy. Trying to save face.
LN is the same as the WN he still spend time with her whatever he's not involved in deep shit actually he didn't said goodbye to Rem in the WN before he left in sanctuary while in the LN he actually spend like hour or so in her room and told her he will be going so that he may find cure for her as well and ask her for forgiveness for leaving her and he will be back soon
also there better reason for him triggering over such as Ram scene unlike the WN where he sound sometimes asshole
the WN was just dump with wasting time in that "emilia camp" chapter with him wasting time with Otto and petra , LN still have some aspect better than the WN
Is there any reason why Roswaal doesn't just roast Subaru badly enough to hospitalize him for 5 days but not badly enough to kill him? He can claim it was a reflex when Subaru grabbed his dick or something.
So wait, he just fucked up and took too long to go back and stay by Emilia's side? I imagine he was expecting her to sleep more since she is terrible in the mornings to wake up, but the clown did something as foreshadowed in the last chapter.
>—No one's here. She cannot meet anyone. Now, she will never ▓▓▓▓ everybody, just as she never had.
>—No forgiveness. No forgiveness. No forgiveness. No forgiveness. No forgiveness. No forgiveness.
>—Hated them. Loathed them. Loathed them. Loathed them. Loathed them. Loathed them. Loathed them.
>She hated lies. She detested lies. Lies were entirely sad things. Lies were the reason behind everything which hadn't gone her way. Lies were making Emilia alone. She hated lies.Detested lies. Detested liars. Everybody is just a stupid ▓▓▓▓.
Oh boy here we fucking go
>Subaru: “Stop saying gross stuff. The #1 and #2 places in my heart are permanently sold out. You think I'd stand there being any gaps for you guys... and especially for this ass to slip in, you ass.”
>Roswaal: “Unfortunate. But, thaaaaaaat would mean... that Beatrice is not going toooooooo be repaid. Your thoughts on her?”
Is clown aware of Rem? Clown blood when?
It's more like a mean spirited "fuck you" for all the shit he did, and she never forgave him for.
She basically makes him juice, but when doing so, she squeezes the juice out of some random rag, which most likely isn't that clean, if at all.
>It's more like a mean spirited "fuck you" for all the shit he did, and she never forgave him for.
>She basically makes him juice, but when doing so, she squeezes the juice out of some random rag, which most likely isn't that clean, if at all.
Petra is a national treasure and must be protected.
Well for one, everyone already believes that there was only one witch, or that Satella is the big bad of everything ever.
The whale was not made by Satella like Crusch said for example, but from the witch of gluttony Daphne. Their place in history having been lost most likely to the level of damage Satella made.
Also, for all we know, the cult does not even worship Satella, that was Petelgeuse's deal. They actually just provide power to people compatible with the authorities and their gospels give them hints on how to get what they want, Regulus wants wives for example.
Petelgeuse just happened to be something related to Satella so it gave us a red herring towards the cult's goals. The cult does have some part of it that apparently is there to protect Satella and the seal, but all the bishops are there to just get what they want, they give 0 fucks about Satella.
When the time comes, Rikiya Koyama will voice Fourier.
No, really. Clown hasn't gave a fuck about two seats at all. while he is speaking some bullshit about sacrificing everything for a purpose. We need clown's blood.
And his oni.
Nee-sama needs to be rescued from the clown
It kind of makes me wonder who Subaru's real lover really is.
I mean Subaru brags about how he loves Emilia all the time, but his actions mostly don't coincide with his words. Rather, I have an impression that Subaru is seeing his love for Emilia more like a justification for his delusion that Emilia is his destined lover, as opposed to treating Emilia like a real person and regarding her own agenda, feelings, and thoughts.
He's at the very least very fond of Emilia. Some anon posited that this might end up as Subaru being Emilia's faithful knight but without romance, regardless of what happens with the blueberry.
Nope, Petelgeuse happens to obsess over Satella because she looks link of like Fortuna.
And Regulus destroyed a town openly selling witch memorabilia because it was witch stuff from an enemy witch.
That said, the common people blame the witch cult on Satella. But they blame the mabeasts on her, too.
Just finished the anime, I'm trying to read whatever there is for re:zero after the end of chapter 25, if my investigation is correct I just need to start reading the WN Arc 4 right? Is there something else I should read that wasn't really well done in the anime or just go straight into the arc 4?
To be completely fair, chicken fucked up hard on one line from chapter 1, and he's slow as fuck.
Anon's translations while a tad rough around the edges in the first few chapters, tend to be still fairly accurate.
It might upset some Emiliafags, but I actually prefer Subaru being Emilia's faithful knight to Subaru ending up with Emilia romantically.
But then there's still plenty of time for Subaru x Emilia romance to pick up, so Tappei still has chances to change my mind.
The beginning chapters of Arc 4 anon version are more summaries and like I said, I personally would want to read the fully translated chapters. Chicken's translations also are more pleasant to read. But these are all my opinions.
My favorite Ferri pic. God bless the artist.
>but all the bishops are there to just get what they want, they give 0 fucks about Satella.
I think it's pretty obvious that the Bishops are all rather simple and easily manipulated people. Someone tracks down some loser, offers them incredible power, and then hands them a Gospel to manipulatively direct their actions by promising them their desires.
Do you really think it was a mere coincidence that Regulus appeared alongside Ley on the whale hunting party's return? Even if it was a coincidence from Regulus's perspective, as he was doing his own thing for his own reasons and just happened to be there, his presence there was probably arranged by his Gospel.
When all of the remaining Sins simultaneously assault a city in Arc 5, all with different motives to go after Emilia's faction, was that just a coincidence? Probably not. Their Gospels likely baited them all into it using what they wanted.
>Their place in history having been lost most likely to the level of damage Satella made.
The Witch Cult purposefully destroyed all information about them, and continues to suppress it. Otto knew this was the reason behind Regulus destroying that one city, because they were dealing in other witch shit.
>Also, for all we know, the cult does not even worship Satella,
They're supposed to, its the the other archbishops don't really care, but the Cult itself follows Satella and thus smells like her.
Roswaal did nothing wrong. He just brought Subaru's deceptive manipulation of Emilia out in the open. He's an honest man who could not bear to watch Subaru viciously manipulate Emilia for his own selfish gains so he helped her reach the truth.
Don't all of the little Witch Cultists also have the scent?
The way I see it, the Bishops are basically just the Cult's superweapons. They don't need to be true believers, so long as they do what they're needed to do. If the Cult is supposed to be putting Emilia through various ordeals, it doesn't really matter if they know the details or even the reasons. They just need to be there and to do their thing, for whatever reason that will convince them.
The Bishops aren't the masterminds. They're just pawns, or bishops if you wants a slightly different chess metaphor.
>Emilia also broke hard when she couldn't pass the Trial herself (about accepting one's past). Instead, Subaru took care of everything without Emilia. Subaru first thought Emilia's over-dependence on him was temporary result of trust. When he found out it was more like severe mental disorder, it was too late because save point was already established after that.
Well, they don't really need to be anything else. Following the Bishops means following the the will issued to the Bishops through their Gospels, which comes from wherever the fuck they come from. Pandora's goal is what we really need to figure out, and if she's got anyone she answers to.
That's her tongue.
>Read the Echidna AU summary.
Where's the summary?
>She failed the trial, and Subaru completed the loop with her insane
>Emilia also broke hard when she couldn't pass the Trial herself
Wtf? Why did she break? I would be happy if some dude took care of everything for me.
She always gets mindbroken after attempting the trial one more time too many. We've seen it now like...3 times now, I think?
Then Mitsubishi RbD's and all goes back to normal but you get the gist. If she doesn't steel her mind before attempting that many times, she'll always end up mindbroken.
> some dude took care of everything for me.
But this is the problem for Emilia. Her self-esteem pretty much hit bottom as she became completely dependent on Subaru and couldn't do any single thing on her own.
She also mimicked Rem's hairstyle and behaviors in order to get Subaru's attention, which turned out to break her even further.

I wish I had a girl like that. Subaru is lucky.
I just realized Subaru has commited suicide for Rem twice already.
Emilia is very similar to Subaru in that if you think about it, he is a good-for-nothing who only ran away from his problems and depended on others, she is very similar although the difference being that she has some good battle strengh and she wishes to become a better person who can stand by herself, Subaru only wished that recently.
I don't find that bad though, because that makes so much potential for development.
His reaction to Subaru's death, since he doesn't know how the reset works, during the second trial makes me think otherwise. So does his contract with Ram and its terms. However, it just emphasizes his absolute faith in the gospel since it hasn't been wrong in 400 years.
He basically just quits if its ever proven wrong. He's so reliant on it he'll let a pink maid boss him around forever (And he thinks that she'll kill him as revenge) if its ever wrong.
>I thought it was supposed to lead to clown's ideal future?
How'd this work out for Betty in the same timeframe? I am almost 100% convinced the gospel is fucking with him for the same reason it fucks with Betty.
It wasn't made for that purpose, he's just a big enough Echidnafag to think it does (and even if it were it wouldn't specify what that ideal future meant anyway). It just gives a detailed account of his future which he follows without question.
