I felt the same way. I thought everything seemed way too childish and silly. It turns around when the first major plot twist comes and Simon starts to come into his own as the MC. The characters grow on you and by the end you realize even if it's silly, it pulls it off better than anything out there.

Well, I've been thinking I should give it another chance sometime. It's at least short, so it's not a huge time investment, and I've done my fair share of gunning for shows I like that have slow starts.

Eh, the anime is pretty solid still. Luckily she doesn't have a lot of screen time. I'm not really a fan of fanservice but hell, Kill la Kill turned out a 10/10 for me. Actually decided to watch TTGL because it was made by the same people (only seen a dozen or so animes, so haven't seen a lot of good stuff yet).

Yoko is basically a joke, people who like her didn't watch the show or think Kamina was the MC
