This post is all kinds of wrong.
It isn't a slice of life, it's a comedy.
Its characters are less likeable than either PW or KnK, the visuals are worse, the fanservice is even shittier (at least PW had the class to provide fanservice AS explicit fanservice instead of just putting a pair of water balloons on Kobayashi's chest and calling it a day) and Phantom World had the advantage of being actually funny. Phantom World actually had some emotional moments among all the humor, "visual direction" porn and fanservice, but there's no way we're going to see anything more than forced "wahhhh dragon maid had a hard life" BS out of this waste of Kyoani's time and resources.

And yes, it is a SoL. Especially in the beginning a lot of the early chapter are of things like the dragons getting used to the humam world and learning about it.

There's a fine balance of liquor needed to find some shows funny yet still be able to read the subs.

I don't know if such a balance exists for Phantom World, the slowest paced comedy I think I ever gave a chance. Great gifs though.
