I doubt we'll get a full on zombie arc just now, but I can see Dolomiti either surviving this arc and getting mad at Jobin for getting him involved and using the Rokakaka to bribe him and will become hostile to both of them, or maybe he dies this arc but his apathy and hatred makes his Stand stick around like Milagro Man did. Milagro Man was a short character development arc but I doubt it's completely unimportant to the plot, given that it focused on money and in the very next chapter Josuke resolved to make lots of money so I can see it being Araki's way of reintroducing posthumous Stands into the new universe if he decided to go that route.

Jonathon is one of the best developed characters in JJBA, along with part 1 Dio. His character development from a lonely, spoiled but morally upright child into a true a gentleman of responsibility and character is one of the best character arcs in the series. He's one of the most human characters in the entire series, moreso than the other protagonists who rely on shallow quirks and one-liners to be memorable. By the end of Part 1, the reader has not only seen Jonathon grow up, but they've experienced his joy, pain, regrets and ambitions. He's a character that exceeds his own circumstances, because he has character details that exist outside of the story's main narrative. He has an expanded background story, extending from his youth as a motherless child with his only friend being his dog to the end of his days as a loving husband and protector of his family.
Characters like Jotaro or Giorno are just bad jokes in comparison, a culmination of cheesy one-liners and quirky habits with no substance.

Phantom Blood is not that similar to Hokuto no Ken apart from superficial art style similarities, Hamon and Hokuto Shinken, and a few nods Araki gave to HnK because he was friends with Tetsuo Hara and they both had a similar love for American action movies.
The similarities between Jonathan and Kenshiro are in that both were characters extremely influenced by Sylvester Stallone in appearence, and while Kenshiro also has the attitude, Jonathan conducts himself in a different manner.
Jonathan himself is more similar to characters like Toki or Shuu than Kenshiro, and HnK is extremely guilty itself of copypasting designs from American sources (not that it's really a bad thing because it's part of the charm).

The whole story starts with Kenshiro going on a murderous rampage to get back his kidnapped girlfriend.
