The anime will probably cover up to seasons 3-4 of the manga which is still fairly tame, if it's 12 episodes long. It'll be nice if they'll adapt further on but as of now there is no fine stopping point yet so it being 1 cour only works well.

It's not uncommon for Japanese kid's shows to be dark, like Cardcaptor Sakura

Honestly, this is kind of fun.
The MC is autistic in an entertaining way, the character designs are extremely varied and I kind of like the humour.
Looking forward to them doing handstands to adapt to upside-down teleportation in the future or something.
