This thread runs a high chance of being deleted because the OP isn't a plain "discuss Aikatsu and Pripara here" sentence but something more creative, which means it's clearly off topic and it doesn't matter if the thread is actually discussion anyway. Learn the rules, OP.
I want to fuck Lala.
This pic reminded me of the good old days.
They're never coming back.
>not putting idle in the op
Fuck you too.
It was good while it lasted, Aoi was best girl
Is Cocotama any good these days? I wasn't even drawn in by Megumi Han in the few episodes I saw.
Hides-Under-Bed-kun needs to stop molesting the idles.
I'm sorry, it's just so hard to resist.
Also please stop posting that picture of me, I don't even know how you got it.
You want to be shanked, don't you?
Are there any recurring dreams that you have? I have several common settings, like my high school and college, but the content is usually different.
It's not reoccurring, but before I got into /ai/ and other idol shows, I had a really vivid dream about being an idol. My manager, crew, and fans gushed over me and my smile would brighten everyone's day. I had a ton of really cute and colorful outfits I used, and a hair stylist that traveled with me that would spend hours carefully styling my hair every day. It was so vivid and clear, I remember things like walking backstage afterwards and the crew helping me change for the next song, conversations with fans, and general downtime. It was one of the best dreams I ever had.

Pick your school.
Thank you for all your hard work.
Btw, how do you download old anime? Most torrents I've were not seeded for 100%, and even anime from just a few years back needs weeks to download. Of course there are exceptions, but I generally found that after 3-4 years there are barely any downloads.
So then, am I doing something wrong? At most I can find a single download there, sometimes not even that much.
I don't have an acc.
I am already using that method, and I don't think downloading to 60% then staying there because no seeds is a client side error...
How is this supposed to help?
This might be it, I didn't know about that.
I think that Lily is the most skilled right now, and she deserves to make it. I can't see Yume or Laura reaching her level in time at their current state, so something big would have to happen. I don't want to discount Yuri either, and it's possible Lily's frail health could come back, plus there's that indication that Hime might be the final boss no matter what else happens. Even taking that into account, I'd be sad if she didn't make it.
>Anchusa is a flower Fairilu
I feel dumb for not google her name sooner.
Lily not being able to compete due to her health would be complete bullshit, especially after the end of this episode. I'd be so mad.
Hime just remaining as S4 would also be bullshit, although I'd totally be cool with Lily competing against her and still winning the spot from her.
I'd also be mad if that happened, even though they'd probably give Lily the S4 seat it'd feel like a kinda hollow victory.
Really I don't want Hime to compete because I don't think the show is ever going to let anyone beat her besides maybe Yume, and that's clearly not happening anytime soon.
I can already see the doujins.
WHAT THE FUCK
>it's aww right
Never heard about how it is banned in the USA, land of the free?
I am pretty sure it is banned, with many other books.
Ran is pretty cute in general.
>posting on topic pictures while asking off topic questions is avatarfagging
I want to shank you in general faggot.
Not a feetfag, but would lick those feet anyway.
I miss PR.
The birth of a daughterufag.
I'm not going to die before PriPara is fully subbed.
Is this really Aikatsu?
Mahiru's cold gaze really gets me going!
As long as we see this episode with her in a wedding dress (and Mahiru and Yozora all dressed up too) I would be fine with it. Mizuki would also need to be present to give away Koharu.
If Lily doesn't win, I imagine we're in for at least the level of shitstorm we had around 29/30.
Just started watching Pripara and this is my favorite part of each episode.
What else can you look forward to once you've witnessed perfection?
I just love Stars' OST, it's so fucking great.
You seem to have posted the wrong girl.
Let me help you out.
So in addition to Hime, there's Ichigo.
You can see Lily slyly hide her thermometer when they walk in.
I miss Aikatsu so much.
Stars a shit.
That's like your opinion anon, I can say the old Aikatsu was shit but you would say otherwise of course, is a matter of taste at the end, but the stuff is, the one that still has a TV show is Stars, not the old one, move on anon.
What an atrocious and saddening opinion, anonymous.
What has this world brought upon you to drive you to such a twisted and unsightly end?
>Didn't get to see the Akari gen girls finish middle school
>Didn't get to see Thunderbolt perform or do anything
>Didn't get to see Yuu traveling
>Didn't get to see some of the other side characters do anything outside of one or two instances
>Drop all of this to make Stars
Heh, she wishes. One race which Ichigo didn't lose on purpose but also could have won if she really wanted to by switching to a higher gear doesn't equal Ichigo's rank and brilliance. Ichigo is the top idol eternal. Not to diss Akari's accomplishments or anything.
Stars has better side characters though.
Don't recall, pretty sure I was reading Precure doujins on my other monitor at the time. If you're referring to the characters, though, know that I meant the narrative presenting them as equal and how I don't buy that.
I don't know if you guys just forgot how to have fun or something, but it was most certainly not becoming a slog, even by S4 it was still the same Aikatsu I'd always enjoyed since S1.
Not saying I dislike Stars or anything, in fact I'm enjoying it quite a bit, but other than a few select episodes it's just not that same show that can put a smile on my face each week no matter what.
I want to kiss Yurika's vampire butt.
I was looking at some drawings by the Aikatsu AD and ended up crying suddenly.
Aikatsu was never supposed to die
Indeed, the side cast and even the background ones are one of my favorite parts of Stars.
For me it was pretty stale, it wasn't fun or exciting anymore, then again, I must have been influenced by PP way too much at that time, also S4 was all over the place.
Not allowed unless you're Koharu.
For real? It felt pretty weird to me from Luminas going through Japan for some episodes to know some episodic characters and the potatoes doing their stuff to suddenly going to the SLQC, add to that how it was shorter than every other season and it just felt too weird.
I'm glad someone gets it, unlike all these people who seem to have lost the love in their hearts. Whenever I think about Aikatsu I still get emotional, there will just never be anything as great as it ever again.
The first half was going around to gain experience, the the second half was the final path straight to the Cup. The potatoes were designed to be the next baton generation after Akari.
Then come back to Japan so you can fuck them already.
>Implying I lost my love for old Aikatsu
I love it nigga, but just because I love it and it's one of my all time favorites it doesn't mean I can't accept it's over and move on to the future, don't get stuck to the past anon, but even with all that I said I get you, I used to believe that when PR ended.
>The potatoes were designed to be the next baton generation after Akari.
It kinda works I guess? But it's hard to see the point when the show was gonna end just there, honestly, I loved the potatoes so I wish they would have been Stars' characters instead.
I'm not even opposed to a new Aikatsu, separate from all the old characters and schools, but Stars just doesn't feel like Aikatsu at all. The writing is sloppy and it takes itself way too seriously at times.
I'm trying to move on and I love Stars, it's probably my favorite or second favorite currently airing show. But it's just so hard because nothing will ever be the same to me as the original, deep down inside I don't think I'll ever be able to let go. No other show has ever been able to make me feel this way.
Wow this is exactly how I feel. Good to know I wasn't alone
What? The writting is better than the first season, and I like how it feels more "slow" than the old Aikatsu which was a mess at S2 because a ton of the characters' plots were finished in the time-skip off-screen or in S1.
Oh baby! Aoi is about to GET SOME!
Me too, I love Stars but Aikatsu is something special that I'll never forget.
I'm sad about Aikatsu ending because it felt like they could keep that universe going forever. Since it had no plot, and wasn't building up to any long-term goals, it was like life itself.
Akari becoming SLQ felt like a pretty arbitrary ending poing though anything else would have felt equally arbitrary. At least Ichigo got to become Top Idle like she wanted, I always thought becoming top idle was more of a "I want to become a pokemon master" kinda deal.
It's good to know I'm not alone in feeling this way too, it feels like a lot of times when it gets brought up, it becomes people arguing for one at the expense of the other, or at least Akari gen vs. Stars.
I kinda already feel like a nostalgiafag, which I guess is weird for a show that ended less than a year ago, and it hasn't even been five since it started. I at least don't want to become like that guy who does nothing but shit on Stars.
Yoshinoya sidle is really cute.
he just said he likes Stars too
Nostalgiafagging isn't only about mindlessly hating everything that isn't the original but about not letting it go, these feelings can either decrease or become bigger with time, that's why I said it's a perfect recipe, not that anon itself is one now.
At least he's not one of those who refuses to even acknowledge anything Aikatsu that isn't Ichigo gen. Do we have those here? I bump into them in some other chans all the time.
>it felt like they could keep that universe going forever.
This is how I feel about it too. Akari becoming SLQ was as good an ending as any, but it didn't have to be the end of the show, it could have just been the end of Akari's arc. They could have done more with the potatoes, and they were clearly building up to something more with Noelle that was cut because they were forced to end it.
Not realism ,but that there are others involved, not just the MCs.
Even if they are all hopelessly curbstomped at performances by Roller and Yume.
There seem to be people who mindlessly hate Akari gen here, so I wouldn't be too surprised. I'm pretty sure most of them are just mad /u/fags though.
There are other chans that have Aikatsu discussion?
I'm pretty sure we do, unfortunately. At least one, I think.
Pity those poor fools.
I hate you so much I'd hug you to death.
Airi is the best but I don't seem to have any pictures of her, so have a Haruka Ruka instead.
>mindlessly hate Akari gen
Both Dreca and Akari gen warrant hate. Failure to incorporate Dreca characters properly to the plot was the death sentence to Aikatsu and Akari weak story telling and characters was the nail in the coffin. It's people who's blindly liking something just because it pleases your eyes. There's nothing blind about liking bad thing. Especially after what came as a result, the end of Aikatsu itself.
I like the Akari gen characters more than the Ichigo gen characters. Don't blame Akari gen for how poorly Bandai handled DreAca. They could've treated S2 and DreAca a lot better if they cared about the integrity of the story more than the ratings. If little girls liked the DreAca girls more than we would've seen more of them.
Seira and Kii were incorporated into the story fine, Sora was okay too, Maria is the only one who really was incorporated vary poorly, basically being ignored soon after her introduction. I'll admit them all being ignored almost completely in Akari gen was certainly a big fault, but you can only blame that on the whims of little girls. I don't see how you can say Akari gen had weak story telling and characters, Akari's growth was perfectly done and it's people like you who blindly hate anything past season one that can't see that, and almost all of the characters were just as great, if not greater than the original cast.
If you can't see what was good about Akari gen, you're living a sad life indeed.
It has been brought to my attention that Aikatsu doesn't have any major green-haired idols yet, which is a shame considering how great the designs of the green-haired sidles are.
Ichigo wishing she had gone to a real school instead.
It's amazing how much better Stars is whenever it focuses on ANYONE that is not the mains.
Whenever it focuses on anyone not named Yume, Rola, Ako or Mahiru my interest increases a hundredfold. Any of those 4 enter the screen and it becomes a total slog, specially Yume and Ako.
I used to make fun of Ako for being a non-character whose only character trait was wanting Subaru's cock but 90% of Roler's character is centered about Yume, her relationship with Yume, her rivalry with Yume, Yume Yume and Yume. Hime kinda sucks because of this very same thing too. They feel more like Yume addons than actual characters. Not even Ichigo felt this centralizing and she was pretty high on that aspect too.
>inb4 hurr she's the main character everything is supposed to be about her faggots who can't understand the difference between main character and screentime hog the universe revolves and bends around to fit around her
Dream Academy as a concept was good. It was a rival school, it had a completely different philosophy, it made idols who were also producers and designers, and it allowed for a climax of the schools joining forces to face the top idol, Mizuki.
Unfortunately, the way they decided to show that Starlight and DreAca were on the same level was ties. That was a mistake. In retrospect I like the girls themselves and their interaction with the Starlight girls, but the uncertainty of seeing a tie week after week for half a year was too much to bear.
I can't say much about Kii but Seira wasn't incorporated into the plot. She was forced into the spot. She was completely out of place and didn't have enough build up for her to compete along side Ichigo. You are full of shit if you
think sora was "okay" she was pretty much pointless. Akari gen was weak. It had some interesting characters but they were no different from sidles and the only thing that stood out from was Akari's growth. She also became a dummy level character by the time she was done with her growth.
Easily one of the worst part of Stars. I'd kill someone for any of the other teachers to be the main teacher.
>the scary-looking headmaster
Moroboshi is fun whenever he's not sperging about muh special snowflake aikatsu power is killing my students instead of better telling them what's going on I'll ask unreasonable things out of them and see how it goes.
The best thing about Stars desu.
>and the S4s are carrying the show.
Yuzu and Mahiru mostly.
Tsubasa is just kinda there and I already expressed my issue with Hime.
Yes, most of the cast carries the show well, regardless of others carrying it more than the rest.
>S4 besides Yuzu suck though
Kill yourself, master baiter.
I don't see how you can say the characters besides Akari were no different from sidles, they all got their time to shine, even ones who were in only a few episodes like Kokone and Miyabi, and the main cast were all fairly well developed. Some may have taken the sideline a bit for the potatoes in S4, but they still had plenty of great moments in S3, and the potatoes themselves were also great, and at times felt more like the MCs of S4 than Akari herself.
I'll admit I agree with you on Sora, I just said she was okay because I'm pretty sure there are some adamant Sorafags in these threads and I didn't feel like awakening their wrath in addition to everything else.
Not quite green, but she's cute anyway.
She's utterly ineffective as rival, even as a friendly rival. She's practically there just to make Yume look good because we are told Rola is super good, but we are never shown how she's good considering she never wins anything. But hey, second place is good enough right? Specially when 99% of those second places are Yume's first places.
>If you like something you have to be a drone about it and never be able to discuss or criticize any faults the something may have because otherwise it means you don't like it
>Yuzu and Mahiru mostly.
Nigga please, Yuzu is barely any more than muh genki baka compared to the rest.
Hime's interactions with her lower classmen and Yume have shown what a spectacular woman she is and a beautiful heart she has.
Almost forgot the best design.
>You will never massage Ichigo's tired legs
>Aoi will never massage your tired legs
How about you compare Roler's accomplishments vs Yume accomplishments and tell me how in any measure can Roler be considered Yume's rival.
Or are you telling me Roler becoming the mascot of the taiyaki thing compares to Yume performing a gorillion times with Hime for free?
>Yuzu is barely any more than muh genki baka compared to the rest.
And yet she's by far the most liked S4. Because she's fun.
Meanwhile everyone else opens their mouth and it's back to zzzzzz-land.
They are sidles because they were all like one hit wonders. In their specific arc, they were great but outside of their arc they were nothing but tools there to make Akari shine more. How can you even say they got proper development, sure they had some individual development, but the line that tied them together was too weak. How they made units were no different from how powa powa puririn. Except powa powa puririn was an actualy sidle group and had Otome who is an excellent character to act as staple.
I'd rather massage their butts. Akari's butt mostly.
Not him, but Rola was my favorite early on in Stars, but as it's gone on it feels like she's slowly faded out of existence except when she needs to lose to Yume or have some scene about how they say they're rivals. The only really notable episode she's had in the last like thirty episodes is the onsen one, which was pretty good. She was also nice in the Mahiru ganguro episode, since she was actually interacting with characters other than Yume.
Yozora's had a couple nice moments, but that's about it. Tsubasa is a complete non-character 90% of the time. My dislike for Hime is probably more personal but I just hate the flawless senpai who is loved by everyone character.
The last time she lost to Yume was 10 whole episodes ago, and they haven't competed since. There was a very clear arc for the first 30 episodes where Laura wins everything at first while Yume is second (or even last), then she starts relying on her rainbow to win, and now they've both started to overcome their shortcomings and are getting ready for the final battle.
Akari's butt is great.
Also Hinaki and Sumire were no doubt the weakest of Akari gen no doubt. "Friendship" between them and Akari constantly gave out an artificial vibe. I was disgusted by the Sumire asspull that happend during the SLQ. Sumire randomly becoming a rival because Akari had no real competition shows how weak story for Akari gen was overall.
The problem isn't just that, it's that she hasn't done much besides it in all these episodes. For example take the stretch between 21, her first loss to Yume, and 29, her second loss. We got like one scene of her training and other than that she did nothing but spout omoshiroi janai for eight episodes.
>who is loved by everyone
So far from what we've been shown, she damn well deserves it.
Yerah, the whole bit about her past struggle to overcome the Taste of the Rainbow™ to avoid borking her voice or when she'd worry about Yume following the same path as she did but being at a loss for a time about what to do totally make her look flawless.
Girls need a bit of meat on them.
This is nonsense. Sumire has been shown as the idol in her generation most directly attacking her weaknesses over time, and also being the most direct in doing what she wants and needs to, like with Dancing Diva. I won't even comment on your friendship assessment, since that reflects on you as a viewer.
I would sell both my legs on the black market to have Akari sit on my face for even five minutes.
After all the time they spent together as a unit, training together, and just in general having fun together like normal friends do, I don't see how you can say they're not friends, unless your projecting some personal issue.
They're just as much friends as Soleil was, the best of friends.
>Then Subaru, who will be appearing on the show alongside Yume, said something of interest/something that concerns her...
On a scale of "lol boiled octopus did you forget to get me chocolate" to "i-it's not like I like you or anything", what will he say to her?
I really hope they hook up. Even if it's one of those shitty last 30 seconds of the final episode hookups.
Ako doesn't truly love him, she only lusts after him. She'll find her happiness too.
That explains why idols need superhuman strength
Yume's happiness is career success, not getting the D. I would not deny her either, either way, but she wants career success instead. Good for her. She can chase love and boys later.
If you want them to hook up just because, then too bad. If you like to self-insert as the guy, please leave. If you like to self-insert as Yume, oh boy, I don't know what to tell you.
She can find happiness in both things. I wish her all the happiness, but if I were to self-insert into any character, Yume would be the second to the last girl I would desire to date. The Aikatsu world has much better characters.
>wakes up with perfect drills
How does she do it?
