O;N is worth a watch on it's own, but many of the references may not have their full impact unless you've experienced previous SciAdv titles.

There's never been a better time to get into SciAdv than right now though with Steins;Gate 0 being out and Chaos;Child in the works.

I'd recommend you start with the Chaos;Head VN if you're interested. It's very much related to the events of Chaos;Child and is a great read even on its own.
