It's a really thin line, but a fine example is Shigatsu, show had a perfect conclusion at around the middle of the show, the set drama was perfectly done and handled till that moment, but then the other half of the show was plain retarded, it had no meaning and no need to exist, there was no point or relation to the main plot, just "dude, life is shit xD, man up", now that's, forced drama. They could have keep up with the same bullshit and it wouldn't mean a thing, make a trunk kill his childhood friend, make a group of robbers to kill his teacher and her kid, and so on, no meaning, no reason, just plain drama.

Shigatsu - I like Arima's character and story, but everything to do with Kaori is drivel. So it's overall an okay show to me.
Clannad - Liked season one, loved AS until the ending ruined everything. Unfortunately it's not one of those cases where you can just appreciate the journey, the ending is that bad.
Ano Hana and Nagi Asu - Grouping these up because I feel exactly the same about both of them. Decent shows, impossible to take the drama seriously. Mari Okada needs someone to put a fucking leash on her.
Angel Beats - Key being lazy and trying to shit out a show that people will love just because they cried in the end. Doesn't work when you don't give a fuck about the characters.
White Album 2 - Pretty good, needed to be longer.
5cm - Good, only Shinkai I like
Yahari - Season 1 was fun, season 2 was not
Charlotte - Garbage from front to back
Plastic Memories - Middle of the road, ending is pretty much spelled out from the beginning.
