It's not as good as DB or DBZ but it's ok, but it's not nearly as horrible as Super not even close.

I watched it this a few times and yeah not there with DB/early Z but I watched it without putting an effort on it.

I started to watch super then I tried to watch it, and finally I quit around the episode 14 or 15 (was considered the best at the time). Each time I try to see if Super has become watchable it just becomes even worse be it Goku being mental, the Mai shit (both of them), the spirit of friendship trunks, or the we don't give a fuck about everyone killed that placed their hope on us so we'll live like nothing happened in another time.

So why exactly does /a/ seem to dislike Super so much? Overlooking the movie arcs, I think it's a pretty good series so far, especially since the filler episodes aren't shit like in most anime. Also I fucking hated GT, Goku being a kid was obnoxious, SS4 was furbait, and all the villains were dogshit. I'm glad that Super essentially retconned GT out of existence.

Goku was fighting near a burning volcano on Namek. I'm pretty sure flying in the air at high speeds with wind blowing cooling you off (depending on the temperature) is far more comfortable than fighting to death on a disrupting volcano. Goku at this point in GT could probably circle that whole planet multiple times in an hour with his flying speed.

GT's an example of some great ideas but lackluster execution.

I liked the idea of a return to the old style "Dragonball Adventure" where it's literally about finding them and all of the encounters the cast has. The problem with GT's "adventure" was that most of it was really boring and not very memorable.

There's some good ideas, aside from that. Things like the Dragonballs breaking due to excessive use and all that, which would kind of make sense as a sequel considering the massive use they get in a fairly brief time frame.
