From evidence we've gathered from watching the first episode, and British general knowledge, we have extrapolated that:
>Blytonbury/Brightonbury is Glastonbury (obviously)
>Akko, Lotte, Sucy, and the other First Years are either 16 or 17 years old
>Luna Nova is most likely a magical girl's college catering to witches aged 16 to 19
>The exact date of Episode 1’s setting down to the day: April 15, 2013 at the earliest, and April 4, 2016 at the latest
>Akko joined late, approximately ¾ of the way through the British school year

The bridge where Sucy and Akko met does not correspond to a real place in Glastonbury. I tried searching on google maps, but there are no streams or rivers between St. Michael’s Tower and and Glastonbury Abbey. The closest match I could find was a VERY similar-looking bridge that’s actually in Glastonbury, Connecticut, United States. I understand that the show’s aim isn’t to show off an exact, anime replica of Glastonbury, but was this bridge actually the result of a research error made by the production staff or was it just a smart visual metaphor?

Less obviously, from the blonde kid with the Nintendo 3DS XL (we can tell it’s one by the size, markings on the back, and the curvature of the corners) and the fact that Diana's lackeys' dialogue imply that episode 1 is set the school day right after the British Easter holidays (which is translated as ‘Spring Break’), we’ve deducted the exact real-life date Episode 1 is set in. ... Assuming that LWA (TV) isn't set in the future, Episode 1 could have been set in:

I think you're sorely wanting for evidence there, specifically the "replacing" part. It's a perfectly human trait to sometimes have ideals that conflict with each other. The problems with the D&D Alignment Grid are already well-recorded by this point, but the basic principle is really obvious: you can be both Lawful and Good or Chaotic and Good even when those dual principles might, from time to time, conflict with each other.

“Hmm? Oh!” Sucy realized she hadn’t exactly gone over the specifics of this new brew. “It’s like an energy drink. You chug some of it down and BAM! An abundance of magical energy flows through your body, allowing you to do anything!” She hastily muttered something under her breath but Akko didn’t catch it. Her indecisiveness was replaced with curiosity and wonder. If it really did everything Sucy said, what was there to lose?

Taking another whiff of it, just to be on the safe side, Akko tipped it back as she chugged the whole brew down. It was bubbly like a soda with a sickly sweet taste; like someone added too much grape flavoring to candy. She waited a second to see if anything would change but all that happened was an URRRRPP that ruptured from her lips.

“Ulp…excuse me…” Blushing, Akko stood still. She assumed that she’d feel the energy ripple through her body, just as Sucy said it would. At first, all she felt was gassy; a unnamed side effect of the tonic. However her excitement began to wane as she noticed for the first time that her little alchemist friend was staring at her; a hungry glint in her eye. “Umm…s-so how long do I wait?”

Slow on the uptake, her mind wondered why her witch robes felt tight out of nowhere. Sucy stopped giggling long enough to conjure up a mirror.

“You may wanna take a look at your new bod.” Akko’s face went pale as the source of the sound was all too obvious now. Her entire body was slowly filling with fat and fluff. A cute double chin was filling around her neck as cheeks looked like she was stowing away lemons. “Hehe, you’re taking to this quite nicely!”

“I-I thought you ulp…” Akko was cut off as her butt swelled, causing her to stumble for a moment. “Y-You said it’d increase hurrp m-my magic beeelch powers!”

There were many things Akko wanted to say at this point but it’d have to wait until this crisis was over. Her hands went to her stomach, pushing back the flab in a vain attempt to make it go down. Her boots were starting to strain over the waves of wobbling flesh that filled them. She prayed nothing else would rupture on her clothing with no such luck. She could hear the seams of her undershirt popping bit by bit from the pressure.

Please don’t let me be nude in front of Sucy. Akko thought as her stomach began to droop down from the bottom of her dress. It didn’t help her any that her butt cheeks were doing the same, filled with pure lard as they sagged lower and lower to the ground. Akko’s whole body winced as her cotton panties stuck to her butt cheeks; skin tight and stretched to cover five feet of blubber. Sucy was letting out little jeers but they were lost on Akko.
