Why is everyone obsessed with bullying Akko?
It may bring me closer to Diana.
Stop being in denial anon, you're just hurting yourself.
The BD CMs have new footage and actually some new information about Lotte and Sucy:
Lotte version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXhPXc9dnv4
Sucy version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZLFtkmnxws
Lotte's family has a magical item shop.
I hope they work hard and do their best
I want Suzy's backstory to involve her being emotionally bullied into a state of near suicidal depression only to have her exact vengeance upon her bullies and in doing so becoming the Suzy we know today.
Seems like Sucy will be a bitch towards Akko for far longer throughout this series.
>you come home from work
>see this girl looking at you
Hope she wants to
test her potions on me.
This was one of the images that Akko saw in the ley line
>all these smug Sucys
I can't fucking wait
It's from the official manga.
Why is she laid on a big worm/tentacle thing?
Is that part of the curriculum?
Think that particular page is from a one shot, not sure. I've only seen one chapter scanlated.
Akko wants mandragora roots to make something that'll restore her magic power, which scream when they're plucked from the ground. Sucy has a bunch in pots on her shelves, but the one big enough for what Akko needs is huge and would probably kill her when it screams from getting plucked, so Sucy tells her to go pluck it outside.
If Akko turns into a cunt by the end of the show, you have only yourselves to blame.
>be an annoying little shit to everyone you meet
>sperg like a retarded one direction fan girl over some retired magician
>go tard rage on anyone who dares disrespect said magician
>act like chris chan and generally piss off every single person you come across
>enroll into a witch academy while disrespecting their history and culture
>win at the end anyway while making friends and winning a lifelong friendship of the most popular and talented girl in the academy, and do it all based on bullshit luck
I don't get it
What are they trying to do
Is this some advanced Umaru thing, where the viewer is supposed to be super pissed off?
Excuse me but bullying will not be tolerated in this academy.
With no boys attending it, Luna Nova is sure to become a breeding ground of lesbianism.
whose this suave ass tuxedo mask looking nigga
Return to where you came from immediately.
Fuck off /sug/. Get your ass back to trash. You shouldn't be allowed to post on /co/ let alone here.
That said you and trigger niggers typically deserve each other so as long as you promise to stay in trig threads I can allow it.
You're being memed mate.
They're only as gay as all boys. Sure a couple of people do the dutch rudder but it's only desperation and frustration. The second the gate opens they're prowling. Very few gays exist and those that do are bullied even with all the weird gay shit that happens between all the straight students.
I... I wrote a song for Sucy.
Phil’s from the stone, Jack’s from the pier,
Horatio or Horat so beer!
Tito Dick “Dickman”, baby!
He hates Phil and loves the ladies.
I hope she likes it.
my fucking heart can't take this
That's not how it works. When you're on the inside, special friend or not you know when someone is actually bent. Further, because they've been so bent by the system most cannot bear to deal with real knobbys.
Maybe it's different in prison.
The errors are what make it.
>not even trying to hide the fact that you're a shitty crossboarder
Who could have predicted such tragedy?
Go home, right now. I told you, you can't keep following me to /a/. Why do I even bother hiring a janitor to baby sit you and your general if you just keep doing this?
Go home. Please. For both of us.
Someone translate the official summary of episode 2?
The power of being best girl.
Flips are one of the few people I was warned about interacting with by others. You certainly don't have a clean bill as far as reputations go.
You're the one with the new cool pres right? Hopefully he sorts your shit out and we can all be less cagey around you.
I'm betting he's that guy with the black hair that looks like Tom Riddle.
God I never wanted to punch an anime character on the nose so hard
Imagine if Lotte didn't take Akko with her that moment
>akko returns home
>has to explain to her parents that you actually have to be able to RIDE a FUCKING BROOM to be a witch
Why is Akko obsessed with bullying Diana?
>Episode 2: Papiliodia (?)
>Akko, Lotte and Sucy have become roommates. The new school term begins. Akko finds that her magic classes are much more boring than she imagined. Diana, the smartest student at Luna Nova flaunts her superiority to the other students. After being told by Diana that "Shiny Chariot isn't respected in the magical community", Akko takes it upon herself to show Diana proof of Chariot's power...
no, I'm newfag lurking because I heard Sucy was a flip
I live dead center of the Philippines so storms here aren't that bad(still pretty bad). But we don't just look the other way and joke around when a calamity strikes. The people on the news are mostly poor and might've never seen a news camera before, they're just excited that's why they're all smiles. We joke around after a few days when the dust has settled.
but come to think of it. It's funny how me and my friends can joke around anywhere even during a funeral. and that's gut bursting laughter during a funeral
>Akko takes offense to someone stating a fact
what a great main character lots of viewers can gain liking to
reminds me of the boy in my grade school that sperged out on everyone anytime someone said anything bad about naruto
That's a summary, Anon, not a transcript. We don't know if Diana drops it on her matter-of-factly, in a friendly but slightly condescending tone, or if she does it after dropping Akko's treasure in the girls' toilets and making her fish it out again with her mouth.
What is she thinking about?
>mfw Sucy is beyond the yuri and is just super based
Pre-screening comments mention that she actually feels a bit cuter in the TV show and that she actually does something nice for Akko.
she tells her cronies to not make fun of the fact that she is a muggle-born since her profile says that she has a strong sense of justice.
Which kind of sucks because there's no justice in that, at all
Wasn't she supposed to be proud of her witch heritage? Some mongo ass muggle parades around the academy disrespecting everyone and Diana is alright with that? Shit writing.
>One girl is borderline autistic about a prep show witch, and a complete noob on real witchcraft, while acting like a retarded children 80% of time
>The other one is a unpleasant girl, who have no sympathy for others, acting cruel and selfish, always aiming for personal goals only
>Lotte has to bear with those two little shits only because she tried to be nice, while getting the fame of a troublemaker right into her first day of school
Can't think of a worst fate
You said she was "parading around the academy," which is fine because they accepted her; then you claimed she was "disrespecting everyone" which she hasn't done just yet, aside from perhaps the opening ceremony at worst.
>right into her first day of school
Didn't she say she was returning from vacation? I think Lotte might be a second-year
Reposted from another thread.
From evidence we've gathered from watching the first episode, and British general knowledge, we have extrapolated that:
>Blytonbury/Brightonbury is Glastonbury (obviously)
>Akko, Lotte, Sucy, and the other First Years are either 16 or 17 years old
>Luna Nova is most likely a magical girl's college catering to witches aged 16 to 19
>The exact date of Episode 1’s setting down to the day: April 15, 2013 at the earliest, and April 4, 2016 at the latest
>Akko joined late, approximately ¾ of the way through the British school year
The bridge where Sucy and Akko met does not correspond to a real place in Glastonbury. I tried searching on google maps, but there are no streams or rivers between St. Michael’s Tower and and Glastonbury Abbey. The closest match I could find was a VERY similar-looking bridge that’s actually in Glastonbury, Connecticut, United States. I understand that the show’s aim isn’t to show off an exact, anime replica of Glastonbury, but was this bridge actually the result of a research error made by the production staff or was it just a smart visual metaphor?
Less obviously, from the blonde kid with the Nintendo 3DS XL (we can tell it’s one by the size, markings on the back, and the curvature of the corners) and the fact that Diana's lackeys' dialogue imply that episode 1 is set the school day right after the British Easter holidays (which is translated as ‘Spring Break’), we’ve deducted the exact real-life date Episode 1 is set in. ... Assuming that LWA (TV) isn't set in the future, Episode 1 could have been set in:
>April 15, 2013
>April 24, 2014
>April 13, 2015
>April 4, 2016
What say you, anons? WE MUST DIG DEEPER
>tfw I will never be shrunken at Sucy's feet ;-;
Even knowing the result, absolutely yes.
>unpleasant girl who have no sympathy for others acting cruel and selfish
Always remember, a bitch witch is a best witch.
And it's cutest when they find friends they enjoy being with too, while still retaining their selfish side.
Maybe I overstated. But she doesn't know bat shit about witches and magic aside Shiny Chariot. She thought there was a bus to the academy, didn't bother to learn riding a broom, or at least get one, that stuff about salt, probably couple other things I forgot about.
And Diana was super anal about witch culture in the second OVA, even saying she's looking into convincing the headmaster to cancel the parade. And that witch pride was replaced with a "strong sense for justice".
I think it's a bad decision in character writing, just saying.
The Academia attends various ages and degrees. Lotte studied in the Academia the year before, but still her first day in the same class of Akko, which we can assume is a type of middle school deal for 3 years. So yeah, Sucy and Akko ruined her career.
There's a massive difference between long glowing flame hair and normal red hair.
No, unless Chariot was shown with flame hair I don't see a connection.
Yeah but that's shown after her glowing flame hair, I didn't think "wow she has red hair like chariot",
I thought "i guess her weird flame hair is powering down whats up with that"
Diana look like a bitch but she's a very nice girl, what a cute witchfu.
>She thought there was a bus to the academy, didn't bother to learn riding a broom, or at least get one, that stuff about salt, probably couple other things I forgot about.
So she's uninformed.
>And that witch pride was replaced with a "strong sense for justice".
I think you're sorely wanting for evidence there, specifically the "replacing" part. It's a perfectly human trait to sometimes have ideals that conflict with each other. The problems with the D&D Alignment Grid are already well-recorded by this point, but the basic principle is really obvious: you can be both Lawful and Good or Chaotic and Good even when those dual principles might, from time to time, conflict with each other.
Yeah, I don't know why people focus on superficial clues such as her hair color. It's obvious from her words and reactions, even in this first TV episode where she immediately recognizes the Rod and tells Akko the exact words to use.
>So she's uninformed.
Ignorance is still a form of disrespect.
You're right about the "replacing" part. I guess we'll just have to wait for the show, though I think it's not shaping up as good as it could really be.
It's not our fault they make lots of good female characters
Her hair is probably just a gimmick or hers, when she uses magic her hair turns red or she dyes her hair on purpose because chariot magic is seen as shitty magic and so she uses it to hide her identity since she's a teacher.
Studied the year before
The clue is the witch uniform she was wearing already. Sucy in another hand wore normal clothes, which makes sense in her whole "entering the academia only for rare artifacts" arc.
If that's your rationale for why it's not going to be good, I have to disagree wholeheartedly. Having conflicting ideals is a very humanizing trait, so for me that's a sign suggesting that Diana's characterization will be well done this time or at least have a lot of attention paid to it.
That's not exclusive to yuriposters, though
All kind of shippercancer do that shit, no matter if their ships are straight or gay. So the problem isn't liking yuri. It's being a shipper
>you will never notice Akko realising that she fell in love with Diana
>you will never see Akko trying to confess to Diana under the academy walls
>just for you to come pick Diana up, kiss her on the cheek and slap her butt jokingly, for her to blush and laugh in embarassment
>all while Akko watches and her heart sinks into her stomach, and you seeing depression form in her soul through her eyes
>you will never walk with Diana into the sunset for your dinner date, locking fingers together knowing that it just makes Akko this much more broken
Sucy and Constanze get along really well, anon
They spend time alone together working on something dubious
>shitposting is whatever I don't like, regardless of quality of post or whether or not it's on-topic given the global and board rules; my feelings matter more
I'm not even a yurifag but you're a fucking faggot
Huh, now that the flipfags made their own thread the shitposting shifted to yuri. Really makes you think.
Will Lotte ever sing again?
Why does the yuri have to be shitposting?
I like this show just as much as you, I'd just like to see the characters kiss too.
I'm going to marry Ursula-sensei and there's nothing you can do about it!
She's annoying and weak to bullying so punishing her seems really natural.
It's shit posting because /u/ndersirables are cancer. If you were watching Sak Trick you could talk about women kissing all you want. I fucking hate yurifags but Sak Trick was great. It goes to show that execution and demographic make all the difference.
Yuri shitters like corrupting other characters and seeing 'undertones'. Given them a good show and they're no where.
The OVAs had some character development for her
I'm hoping she'll get more in TV
You usually create characters like that in order to have them learn and mature during the series
They might not handle it well but I'm pretty sure they won't let her stay ignorant and annoying the whole time
>And that witch pride was replaced with a "strong sense for justice".
I think they're two sides of the same coin in her case
That would be fucking stupid and completely inappropriate but yeah, I get you. Not all that unlikely.
I thought it was pretty funny but the threads helped too. Lesbian physics for example and the enteranal lament of 420-chan being the only character paired with a normal girl. Nothing special but fun for something seasonal.
If they actually destroy her card for any bullying purposes I'm dropping the fucking show
Not a fan of all this SEAmonkey fawning online over Sucy simply because she's Filipino. Hopefully this doesn't make me dislike her over time.
“Sniff Sniff…is this what you were talking about?” Akko asked hesitantly. The young, budding witch stood before her sleepy friend as a strange concoction bubbled in her hands. All Akko knew was that Sucy claimed that she had something that would help increase her magic powers, allowing her to be a better witch. “It doesn’t look 100% safe.”
Sucy let out a little cackle as she fiddled with her various potions “Will you relax? It’s not as if this is the same mix that Minotaur drank.” She hadn’t once looked at Akko since she gave her the potion bottle. “I made it just for you.”
“Okay but what exactly does it do?”
“Hmm? Oh!” Sucy realized she hadn’t exactly gone over the specifics of this new brew. “It’s like an energy drink. You chug some of it down and BAM! An abundance of magical energy flows through your body, allowing you to do anything!” She hastily muttered something under her breath but Akko didn’t catch it. Her indecisiveness was replaced with curiosity and wonder. If it really did everything Sucy said, what was there to lose?
Taking another whiff of it, just to be on the safe side, Akko tipped it back as she chugged the whole brew down. It was bubbly like a soda with a sickly sweet taste; like someone added too much grape flavoring to candy. She waited a second to see if anything would change but all that happened was an URRRRPP that ruptured from her lips.
“Ulp…excuse me…” Blushing, Akko stood still. She assumed that she’d feel the energy ripple through her body, just as Sucy said it would. At first, all she felt was gassy; a unnamed side effect of the tonic. However her excitement began to wane as she noticed for the first time that her little alchemist friend was staring at her; a hungry glint in her eye. “Umm…s-so how long do I wait?”
Considering LWA is actually good and JP have 100 fold shit taste, it's obvious LWA will sell like shit.
Welcome to japan, where every good anime flops because nippon is too busy blowing up hundreds on idol dvds.
“Ohhh trust me~ you’ll know when it hits you.” Akko wanted to ask what she meant by that but didn’t need hang around for an answer. A sudden WOMP hit her gut, making it slosh audibly. Sucy’s mouth spread into a wicked smile, an adorable series of cackles filling the room.
From her perspective, Akko wasn’t wholly sure what was going on. All she could sense was that her body felt heavy and full. Part of her mind wanted to write it off as she drank too much too fast. Knowing Sucy’s track record with mischief and misuse of potions, this was far from the truth. Akko cursed herself for accepting it so readily without questioning the ins and outs of it. The only consolation she had was that whatever Sucy tricked her into drinking would not be lethal…at least, not that lethal.
Her body continued to weigh her down as a bizarre gurgle filled the room, muffling out Sucy’s laughter. To Akko, it sounded like someone filling a balloon with jelly. Slow on the uptake, her mind wondered why her witch robes felt tight out of nowhere. Sucy stopped giggling long enough to conjure up a mirror.
“You may wanna take a look at your new bod.” Akko’s face went pale as the source of the sound was all too obvious now. Her entire body was slowly filling with fat and fluff. A cute double chin was filling around her neck as cheeks looked like she was stowing away lemons. “Hehe, you’re taking to this quite nicely!”
“I-I thought you ulp…” Akko was cut off as her butt swelled, causing her to stumble for a moment. “Y-You said it’d increase hurrp m-my magic beeelch powers!”
“Oh it will…but that excess of energy has to be stored somewhere. And since fat cells are meant to help contain energy in the body, it seemed fitting.”
>I'm the victim
I haven't baited anyone, I am responding to a yurifaggots question that was unsolicited. That unsolicited opinion is more akin to bait than a response to it would be.
/u/ is shit, though. Just because I like yuri doesn't mean I have an extreme hatred for male characters.
It's like saying you can only talk about mech shows on /m/
Or trying to tell all Yaoi on Ice posters to go to /y/
There were many things Akko wanted to say at this point but it’d have to wait until this crisis was over. Her hands went to her stomach, pushing back the flab in a vain attempt to make it go down. The way her arms awkwardly grinded into her budding breasts made it harder with each passing second, filling the loose sleeves of her dress. Though she stopped this endeavor when the belt of her uniform began to dig into her pudding belly. Sinking in more and more, Akko grunted, fiddling with the buckle to get it loose.
“Erggh…urrppp…make it…hic stop!” She moaned her pudgy fingers unable to make any progress on the latch. “Sucy…please…help, it hurts!” Akko cried out as she let out a little shriek when her meaty thighs slapped against each other. Sucy did nothing, choosing to write down notes with a smug smirk on her face. The way the red sash dug into her body gave her an almost comical appearance, like that of a dumbbell. Luckily, Akko didn’t need to wait long as the pressure from her hips and gut caused her red belt to come off with a massive SNAP.
“Heheh…you’re like the blueberry girl. Oh! That’d be a fun potion to give to Diana.” Akko didn’t find the comparison amusing as she wobbled around in a circle. Her boots were starting to strain over the waves of wobbling flesh that filled them. She prayed nothing else would rupture on her clothing with no such luck. She could hear the seams of her undershirt popping bit by bit from the pressure.
Please don’t let me be nude in front of Sucy. Akko thought as her stomach began to droop down from the bottom of her dress. It didn’t help her any that her butt cheeks were doing the same, filled with pure lard as they sagged lower and lower to the ground. Akko’s whole body winced as her cotton panties stuck to her butt cheeks; skin tight and stretched to cover five feet of blubber. Sucy was letting out little jeers but they were lost on Akko.
>Is this some advanced Umaru thing, where the viewer is supposed to be super pissed off?
I hope this doesn't become a trend in anime.
That said, while Akko's character archetype is one that I would normally find annoying, for some reason I'm not really bothered by her. Trigger must be doing something right.
Reminder that if Akko's treasure is damaged for bullying purposes we riot.
Maybe if you people didn't try to retardedly limit yuri to /u/ or act all superior for hating yuri, there wouldn't be issues
And if you haven't done any of the previous two things, you aren't the kind of shitposter I was talking about and I have no idea why you replied to me
Looking back to the mirror, the progression of her inflation didn’t seem to be slowing down. To her horror, her gut hit the floor with a thick thud, spreading out in front of her. Akko’s legs were hidden behind the thick wall of lard, sweat and body grease squelching with each small twitch of her muscles. A small groan came from her fattened lips when she felt the sides of her boots split open, fatty calves spilling out into the open. Another thud shook the room, Akko’s face fully flushed as her butt cheeks were now touching the floor.
“I guess that’s what you call…an assquake.” Sucy laughed before noticing tears welling up in Akko’s eyes. “Relax, you’re almost done.”
It was the first thing Sucy said that was true as Akko’s body finally stopped swelling. The range her arms possessed was limited as she tried to assess the damage. The way her upper arms shook and stuck out at her sides gave her the appearance that she was wearing over-inflated bingo wings. Even then, her forearms could only grope what was directly in front of her. There was no way she could touch any part of her ass or around her navel, wincing as every part of her lower body was smushed into the floor; even the more ‘sensitive’ parts of her body. Akko had to be grateful that the fates allowed for her torso to remain clothed behind her overly stretched dress. Granted it was more a bra at this point than an actual dress, covering her swollen watermelon breasts.
“I guess urrpp this isn’t all hurrlp bad…” Akko said before feeling a lecherous hand sink into her butt.
“Wow…I didn’t think Shiny Chariot panties had that much tensile strength.” Sucy proclaimed, viciously jiggling Akko’s cheeks around without a care in the world. “Wonder what fibers they put into this.”
“S-S-SUCY! P-Please hicurrp stop!”
I know, but there's precedent for this. There was some shitty anime that I was watching a few years ago where one of the side-characters was South East Asian. The SEAmonkeys would not shut up about her and over time it soured my impression of that character.
Why are South East Asian anime fans the worst though? Is it something in the water down there?
Why do you think she hates diana? She'll probably be like "you still have things like these? How childish" then one of her followers throw it away making diana and akko sad about it.
Anyone else hoping the girls speak their native languages at some point in the series? I want to hear Lotte's Finnish.
I agree with the first senitment and I find the second inoffensive however I didn't air them in this thread, and only responded to anothers prompting. Futher yuri and /u/ are two different creatures don't conflate them. One is content another is demographic. Defend the content all you want but you'll have a hard time with the demographic.
“Fine fine.” Sucy did as she was told, heaving the butt cheek towards the other as they rippled and smacked off one another for a few minutes. “On the bright side, I think you’re a whole lot cuter this way.”
“D-Did you hurrrlp do all of this to bleeech make me fat?”
“Well yeah, it’s a lot of fun. Don’t you think?” Sucy held up an identical potion to the one Akko had gulped down. “Besides, if anything, one can argue you share the blame in this too.”
“You know me well enough to know ‘Huh…Sucy’s potions usually have some sort of trick to them’.” Mocking Akko, she took a little swig of the potion. “If you had simply taken in a small dose, this is what would have happened.”
Akko struggled to see over her grapefruit cheeks and over her engorged chest. True to her word, Sucy fattened up as well but it wasn’t as extreme. Her hips were more full, straining her belt but not to the painful extreme Akko went through. Tummy bouncing and sagging in the confines of her body-lengthy dress, Sucy couldn’t help but poke the full mounds of flesh hanging from her chest.
“Hehe, maybe if I refine this I can sell this to the girls on campus. Get their measurements nice and big.” Akko watched Suzy as best she could caress her own chest before squeezing Akko’s mega-sized breasts.
“W-Will you stop urrlp groping me and bwwaapp change me back!?”
Sucy let out a heavy sigh as she swayed her newfound hips to her alchemy station. Mixing a few ingredients around, Akko found a slim vial in her fingers. Forced to tighten her grip with her sausage fingers, the real challenge was getting it to her mouth.
I think it's neat. I don't really get the memeing about the Philippines since I don't know much about the place, but I love knowing more about characters I like and finding out she's from south east Asia is neat to me because it's one more thing I've learned about her.
At this point I'm more bothered by the abysmal writing than the actual subject matter
>Looking back to the mirror, the progression of her inflation didn't seem to be slowing down
This is a good example of a number of problems. "Looking back to the mirror" implies that "Akko" is the subject, but it's followed by an dependent clause with "the progression of her inflation" as the subject instead. That's a classic dangling participle, and a rookie mistake that would have been easily corrected by a seasoned writer.
Another thing: "the progression of her inflation" is redundant. "Inflation" is a process, so saying "the progression of her inflation" is just extraneous. It sounds like the author is just buffing their word count. "Her inflation didn't seem to be slowing down" is at least no less awkward than the original construction.
3/10 needs work
“That may take you a while. This potion should help with giving you some level of mobility in those inner-tube legs you’re totting. As for the slimming effect, it could help get rid of the excessive magical energy in your body. Bu-” Sucy didn’t have the chance to finish her explanation since Akko managed to get her beefy arms hiked up enough to let the potion dribble down her gullet; leaving a few splatters here and there.
“Mmmmm like cherry soda.” Akko said, feeling strength in her legs as she clumsily was able to walk around. “So this will help me get back to normal.”
“It could or…”
“Or it could have the inverse effect and make you three times as fat.” Sucy said as a familiar noise cascaded through the room. All the color in Akko’s face washed away again as a snicker came from the fat face of Sucy. “You really should consult with your doctor before taking any medication.”
In isolation having a cast from all around the world is a great idea given the nature of the show, so Sucy being Filipino (even if she looks nothing like one) is fine. But it's the "pino pride" bullshit that has and will continue to follow her because of this that is problematic.
Good point, anon. I'll remain steadfast - for Sucy.
Japan has better taste in anime than westerners do.
all the little witches are best and you can not convnce me otherwise!
The only thing that made Sucy a Filipino is that her name is based on the Cebuano language and that TRIGGER confirmed as such. Other than that, there really is nothing in her character that makes her even remotely Filipino. But Phil' pride follows her anyway.
You're a fine man, with fine tastes.
One thing I really like is her greyish skin. She's not just pale, she has a greyish colour. Always love it when girls have that in animu and games.
Eh, I don't see that kind of thing being huge here (unless it's ironically or something), and I don't ever see much of the anime community outside of /a/ so it hopefully won't be too bad.
Either way it wouldn't stop me liking her.
>Bu-” Sucy didn’t have the chance to finish her explanation since Akko managed to get her beefy arms hiked up enough to let the potion dribble down her gullet; leaving a few splatters here and there.
And here's another sentence that just really hits you with how bad it is. It's trying to communicate at least three different ideas in two atrociously organized clauses, separated by an improper use of a semicolon.
Here are some ideas you seem to want to communicate here:
>Sucy was interrupted
>Akko's arms are "beefy" and apparently difficult to lift
>Akko drank the potion
>Akko left a mess as she drank the potion
Look, any time you want to say this many things, you don't just jam them all into one sentence. You split it up using commas, colons, semicolons, or full stops, but you also have to use them correctly. Commas separate clauses, independent or dependent, and they'll do a lot of work for you. They're easy to overuse, though, which is why full stops shouldn't be underestimated. Shorter sentences are best sometimes. Colons can be used in two cases: to begin a list of examples, as I just did, or to introduce an explanation. Semicolons are only ever used in two cases: firstly, to separate items on a list where the items already contain commas, or to separate independent clauses. That second one means that unless you're listing items, semicolons can ONLY be used in cases where you could also substitute a full stop. Pick up a copy of Strunk & White's Guide to Style and read the grammar section before you do anything else.
>overall pretty good
You ashame me for having such low standards for your smut. You would have to be desperate to consider this "pretty good."
Fair point. Yurifags are shitters, but an all-female academy of any sort is just a breeding ground for lesbianism. Honestly, I like a bit of yuri, but I'm not gonna shit up the LWA threads because of that.
What about that sweet sweet Netflix money? Even 2ch are speculating that Trigger isn't as focused on the home market with LWA as they have been previously. If so, that would be a big step forward for an anime studio.
Well there's also the broom.
>Eh, I don't see that kind of thing being huge here (unless it's ironically or something)
There was a SEAmonkey namefag here last night claiming that Filipino people, contrary to common belief, are pale due to race-mixing and as such it makes perfect sense that Sucy is not only pale but in fact paler than the canonically white characters.
No gypsy no!
Trigger was always westaboo to some extent and they really know how to appeal the westerners. But yea appealing to netflix would give trigger a lot of money.
Hopefully they'll be able to become as famous as ghibli on the future with the westerners since they're the only animating studio still properly animating and not abusing cgi sameface like pixar and dreamworks.
I'm not the writefaggot in this thread, but still a beginner wannabe-writer myself. Thanks for introducing me to Strunk and White. They've written good content judging from the pdfs I've found on google! I'm going to go out and find copies at my local bookstore.
She'd look like Kino if she didn't have the ponytail.
That's an unfortunate coincidence as I legitimately just like extremely pale skinned girls like Sucy, they're great. Nu from the BlazBlue games has the same extreme grey paleness too.
>put all /u/ shitposter in a containment thread
>containment thread turns to shit
>they don't want to stay in their containment thread because they've turned it to shit.
>so they ignore the containment thread
It's not like you can't go on other boards if you like yuri, just realize there's a board created for discussing it and if you don't like the other people there then tough shit that's the kind of people who have your cancer fetish
>But yea appealing to netflix would give trigger a lot of money.
Still an odd (but understandable given how they operate) decision that Netflix won't be releasing the episodes as they air. Given the sea of confusion online from legal-only fags about where to watch episode 1, Netflix could have stood to gained a lot more viewers by not waiting until the series is complete to make the episodes available.
I wonder if the Netflix deal is actually particularly lucrative for Trigger? If so and LWA is successful, this could be highly influential on Trigger's future projects.
>/u/ is not a discussion board
I have many discussions with my penis regarding the content on /u/.
My penis usually wins.
>sit at a funeral
>priest has a funny as fuck accent
>have to hang around outside until the funeral's over
Man, funerals were pretty fun too. Lots of food, people, it's like a party but someone died.
>tfw 4 more days until the next episode airs
I'm actually hoping the TV series will delve into that. I want to know exactly how strong she is, since she seems to be effortlessly good at basically any magic and potion making she's attempted.
>I wonder how powerful Sucy's magic is.
Is potion magic exempt from the physical restrictions on where magic can and cannot be used? In the OVAs it has been shown that it is impossible for witches to use magic outside the proximity of certain magical artifacts/locations.
She has that little tuft that Kino doesn't have too.
I wanna see Kino as a witch.
>it is impossible for witches to use magic outside the proximity of certain magical artifacts/locations
It's uncertain if that's the case in this reboot
>g as a witch
>gas a witch
