I sort of mindlessly watched it until the 15th episode. It took until then to hook me in, but the first 14 were interesting enough to keep me watching. Episode 15 was some of the finest work I've seen in a while, especially that ending. 16 and onwards were alright, but the fact that they cut out the cliffhanger we all waited for made the wait worthless.

The start of Arc 3 was really shit, and Arc 3 also had the ending scene omitted.
Also of note, Emilia doesn't develop as a character until Arc 4. Which isn't covered in the anime.

No other complaints with it though. If nothing else, it's worth trying out.
