Every King needs a trusted subordinates
Which King would you serve, /a/?
Every thread until Rem wakes up.
Fucking none of them.
Or maybe this captcha is trying to tell me something.
It's literally explained that they're working off dragon's orders.
They needed a female ruler because the dragon specifically requested that, since he also needs a Priestess/Miko to renew the contract.
Why that is, we still don't know, but it was stated quite clearly.
Also reminder, there's a small cute short story about a "what if" scenario where all the girls are younger and most work on a model agency.
I believe the book also had many other short stories like this one, since it was a book with many other series in it.
Reminder that this is extremely tunnel visioned and does not reflect them correctly, and it's basically meme text.
Go read the manga to see the speeches that the anime butchered.
She collects money and catgirls
And she's all out of catgirls
Felt of course.
She isn't. That's a /pol/ kiddies chart made by anime only's.
She has her own private army, she's a good manager, who raised from nothing to become chairman of a company that leads one of the countries, and she is indeed greedy, but not insane like in the chart.
>Make whatever-the-hell country this is great again!
No, Priscilla's entire plan is that she feels she's the "chosen one", and wishes to rule. That's it.
Her knight intervened and talked in her favor by adding that all the lands she is in possession of, have been made to prosper under her care, or improve, and that she has never once been wrong in her entire life, all her decisions lead into a good outcome.
She's basically Nagito Luck tier, without the monkey's pawn effect.
They're specifically called miko in the Japanese text, or "shrine maiden (female)", which originally comes from kami-ko or "god child (female)". They're special in some Japanese kind of way.
Too bad she got Gao'ulded by her scarf.
That still doesn't concern her, and the description still fits.
Nagito had a bunch of traumatizing shit happen to him because of his luck. Priscilla on the other hand never faced hardship and is always winning.
>Pete is now the MC
How does the story play out?
I would give the king heirs, if you know what I mean
Incase some people were curoius about the changes from Arc 2 and 3 I found that someone post a link here:
Only goes up to vol 5 sadly.
>So in the end, you decided to chose Rem, Subaru?
>Honestly you are truly
She wants to own the country, rule it by using her administrative skills to make it prosper, which she has excellent ideas off since she had nothing when she started out.
Outside of that not much is known, but she has her own private army, so i doubt she'd not prioritize defense as well.
Why is she so lewd though?
I mean look at her skin tight dress, doesn't look like she's wearing anything under it either.
Probably walks around like this to arouse the demi-humans in her private army and keep them loyal.
I liked her better as a blue-haired tsundere
???: <—I finally found you.>
???: <Sorry, I'm sorry. I am so sorry for leaving you alone. I've been searching forever. Always,
always, always searching for you.>
—Where am I? Its so, cold.
???: <I'll get you out right away. By herself, in this lonely place... why'd she have to go through...
why, for such a long time did I...>
—But who are you? Whyre you crying?
???: <—Because you're the most darling thing there is. I'm so happy we could meet again.>
—Youre glad we met?
???: <Yes. I was... I was reborn for the sake of meeting you.>
—Who are you?
???: <I'm... I'm your biggest ally. I'm your number one, strongest ally.>
—So, youre my...
???: <—Yes. Yes. From today on, I'm your family. From this very single second on, you'll never be
alone again. —And that I pledge.>
Puck must be Subaru
All of them are somewhat decent while others not so much
Felt and Emilia are out since they're not only inexperienced, but Emilia also had other plans and the whole equality thing is a dupe for her real intention.
Anastasia can use her administrative skill to help the country.
Priscilla is Nagito without monkey's pawn, and as long as that works her rule would also work.
Crusch wants the country to move on it's own without renewing the dragon blessing, because she feels relying on it creates stagnation, and thus breeds corruption.
I guess having Clown as your sugar daddy has it's perks.
It's a blessing that helps with things in general i believe.
Crops, protection, disease, health and so on.
We don't know what the price for renewing the covenant is though. But the dragon DID specifically request for women to be the candidates.
She wants Roswaal to help her unfreeze her village, or possibly use the dragon to do so? Not 100% sure.
But basically Roswaal is using her to enter the race in order to reach and kill the dragon, while Emilia wants to win in order to unfreeze the village. Everyone may already be dead though.
>wants to turn the elves from popsicles to toast
The dragon sealed the witch Echidna inside of sanctuary. Which is a place near the forest of his domain.
He was her apprentice 400 years ago, and seems to be in love with her. It may related with trying to revive her original body, which still resides in the tomb of sanctuary.
No new chapters/translations = No new threads
I need to sleep
That thought crossed my mind too even earlier, but i honestly have my doubts about Tappei pulling time-travel card later, even if RbD is in a sense a time-travel too, things like that would be a bit too much in my opinion, though if he manages to dance around it nicely i can see no problem there. Oh well, we shall see in time what he got for us anyway, not much of a use to pile some crazy ass theories until we get to see for ourselves.
If you take their words for it, this is what they represent.
The Election is going go on for 3 years so experience gonna take of itself there for both Emilia and Felt since in that time-frame they have prove their worth as rulers to general population.
>L'etat c'est moi
What did she mean by this?
I get more and more confused the more i read. More questions than answers so far.
I don't really buy the whole Subaru being Puck thing, and if he was her actual father it'd be weird since i believe Puck was around since 400 years ago as well right? And her father was apparently an elf.
So what is going on?
Somehow i get the vibes like he doesn't sound like her father at all. Not sure what to think of it. But hasn't he said something about remembering something on some occasions? Like when he was about to freeze the world when Reinhard confronted him. Also when he suddenly stop appearing when Subaru snapped at him in front of sleeping Rem. He's having something interesting going on with him for sure.
So what was her position at the mansion? Housekeeper? Archmaid?
She was the one who taught Rem and Ram how to be maids.
She was on leave at the request of Roswaal, along with other house attendants, since he expected the election to cause a stir in some things so he only left Rem and Ram around. According to her at least.
She comes back in arc 4.
>She was the one who taught Rem and Ram how to be maids.
Chief maid then.
Does anyone have the chart of the candidates comparing what ideologies they are and stuff? Like they have one of them Nazi and one of them as ISIS
That is the Chinese-made one and is quite inaccurate. Felt is more an anarchist than ISIS member because she don't want to rule and just want dismantle everything just because.
I did not save it because it does not represent the candidates well enough.
I'm counting on him eventually getting over it
While I'm not against the concept of polygamy, Subaru forfeited any right at it the moment he said
>You are mine. I won’t let anyone have you.
and so he's a dick at pursuing both unless he retracts this claim.
How much do the LNs go into Ferris' past? Is his
sufferingexplored at all?
The EX 1 novel is about Crusch and Felix's past, and EX 2 is about the war and Wilhelm and Theresia's story in more detail.
It also shows Roswaal's ancestor
which is basically Roswaal body-jacking a female from his family in the past.
His and Crusch-sama's past is told in this volume
First chapter is translated quite badly here
Summary of the volume is here http://rezero.wikia.com/wiki/Re:Zero_Ex_Light_Novel_Volume_1
Ferris wikia page has the stuff about his basement time.
Oh god I want this translated. Why the hell did the translator have to die?
Or animated. But it has no Rem or Emilia so I guess the chances are low. Manga adaptation would be really great too.
You bros already know this though.
I just had to read the summary again and now my craving is back.
No you fucking mong. I'm talking about a meme chart that I saw on /a/ a while back with all of them on it and different flags/ideologies next to each. Specifically I remember it having an ISIS flag and a Nazi flag on it.
I'm not saying he should be unable to do so, but that he has no right to do so
If he wants to pursue both he should not expect 100% dedication from them to him and would have no right to be jealous
If he does so he's in the wrong.
Maybe moving further he will realize that his is an unfair proposition
Subaru claims he wants to marry both.
Then after the whale fight he goes:
>[Subaru: ….Isn’t the answer obvious? I won’t let you go to anyone else’s side.]
>[Subaru: You are mine. I won’t let anyone have you.]
If youy keep both claims true you have a not-so trivial footnote:
>I won't let anyone have you, but you should let Emilia have me
This is not a fair proposition
Polygamy on its own is still marriage with all its rules and such. You don't fuck outside your group. Polyarmory is like the open marriage kind of stuff. If he claimed polyamory while stating that line then there would be a problem.
Oh, from description after a quick google it made it seem like Polyamory was something like making sure all parties consent to it, not "open marriage" shit.
Yeah, he'd want polygamy since he's only interested in both of then romantically
if you want to stretch, Satella too, but that one he has no control over, and feels something deep for her for some reason.
He was extremely emotional, don't take it to extreme face value like that.
I expect Ram and Puck to object to polygamy once Rem wakes up.
Subaru must have been too emotional and frightened when seeing Rem dying, so he simply expressed his love to Rem straightforwardly and genuinely, without thinking much about it.
>describes Emilia as a nee-san
>Rem is clearly his mommy
What does this say about him?
>which king would you serve?
It's reaaaly annoying that Subaru is retarded as hell. My first thought when i began reading arc 4 was "for fuck's sake, just go and talk to Emilia about her past right now, that would solve half of your problems, moron". Isn't it obvious for any normal human that whiteknighting anyone to that insane extent would get you and especially your object of desire nowhere. How can he bounce between opinions of his conviction that Emilia will overcome the trial and that he don't want her to suffer even when it needed to her to accept her past to walk head high in future, he's just doesn't get it how people work, especially consider that Emilia is mentally almost child. He spent 4 loops literally doing nothing, getting bit's of information, getting rekt by everyone, getting everyone rekt because of his stupidness when all he needed to do is just to turn on his fucking head and ask right people the right questions, and tell them that they should listen to him and to what he needed to say. Like, he could've talk to Roswaal much earlier and get a good chunk of information out of him. wasn't it clear that him comfortably lying in bed like that he was responsible for at least some of this situation. Garfiel too was contradicting himself from the very beginning, it was plain as day that he was just blocking his progress for selfish reasons and behind his facade straightforwardness he's just a little frightened boy. There also his shit about suspecting Frederica, him suddenly discovering that he doesn't want to die. Well, right fucking on time, when you only decided to throw away one loop and it became a disaster. He could've got almost all the answers from Echidna right away, without accepting her ultimate proposal if he just realized that he can harmlessly turn her unyielding thirst for knowledge back at her, taking into consideration her positive disposition. Boy, he's really something, this man, Otto should've addressed a couple more hits to his thick skull for what it's worth
Talking to Emilia about her past wasn't actually that obvious. People's feelings are a very unstable and unclear variable that. He saw Emilia fuck up for three days straight the first time around and he lost faith in her.
Anyway the LN version rectifies some of this by cutting the loops in half and having Roswaal and Ram trick Subaru into thinking she's untrustworthy.
Roswaal's actions make no sense without knowing his full plan. Subaru knew he was up to something but it would be a huge conclusion to jump to if he thought he was responsible for Elsa. Not without knowing what he wants.
That's just my guess but I think's afraid to ask others about their past because he doesn't want to get asked about his past as well. When Rem was ready to tell him what happened before she came to the mansion he told her that he doesn't want to know because he only cares for who she is now. Probably the same with Emilia.
Suspecting Frederica makes perfect sense if you realize how insane Roswaal's plan to hire Elsa is. That only left her. The light novel makes this an entire subplot for people who disliked a half chapter of suspicion courtesy of the clown and his pink Remu misleading him about Freddie.
Part of the beauty of how Emilia overcomes the trials is that it can't be confidently calculated or planned the first time around. Talking to her about her past and comforting her may've not been enough to help her face her trauma head on.
The line doesn't contrast to the strict concept of poligamy, it shows an inequality between what he wants from her and what he's willing to give, and he expects that deal to follow through.
He was emotional, but also stated that twice and after the situation was defused he confirmed those are his true feelings.
But also he also definitely doesn't hide jealosy in certain instances. If he wants exclusivity from either of them he shouldn't expect them to be willing to share him.
He's unfair to Rem but also to Emilia.
Echidna is interested in new knowledge for the sake of pursuing it. You can't bargain with pure information because her gospel can tell her that if she really wants it. RbD interests her a bunch because it's a different outcome for the exact same scenario.
Polygamy is an unequal deal by design. That's exactly what it is. You're either okay with the concept or you're not. Otherwise you're going to have to explain your version of the concept that you're okay with.
A fair version of polygamy is pretty easy: each partner has the faculty to pursue multiple interests with the other one being willing to let them do it.
In the case at hand Subaru should be willing to let Rem and Emilia have also partners other than him if they want to do so, but his behaviour shows that he wouldn't be ok with it ("I won't let anyone have you", being openly jealous with Emilia)
That's not polygamy on its own however. That's polygamy with an open marriage or polyarmory. Which is fine because the polygamy deal is stupid but if you don't clarify you get bizarre contradictory claims. Because it's not the polygamy part of the polygamy + polyarmory thing that you're fine with.
I think his actions make perfect sense even if they aren't agreeable. Rem proposed the idea first and because they're both very insecure people it was just a way out of painfully choosing one of them. He's not interested in non-vanilla relationships but he is interested in not having to break a part of his heart and another girl's by choosing.
Okay I feel confused as hell here but judging from what Subaru said and Rem's reactions, I think both of them are aiming for polygyny which involves one male and two females.
It might be unfair for Rem and Emilia not to have any partner other than Subaru, but I don't think they will mind that when Subaru is the only person they love and want to marry. Plus, polygamy is hardly fair to begin with.
It kind of is Rem's fault if you think about it.
>[Emilia: Ah, I understand. Jeez, that’s not okay, Subaru.]
>[Subaru: Eh!? What!? There’s no way you’ve found out my plan! Impossible!]
>[Emilia: Children shouldn’t drink sake, or else they will stop getting taller.]
>[Subaru: No way! The same reason my mom had!? Also, I’ll have you know that I’m not a child that breaks the kingdom’s laws! I’m 18 this year, after all! I have Roswaal’s permission! I am an adult! An adult!]
>[Emilia: I don’t think an adult would make such a fuss like that. But, Subaru is 18, huh. That’s reeaally surprising…..I thought you were younger.]
>He was scolded for a reason he’s been told of sometime in the past, and then Emilia gives a bittersweet smile at Subaru, the noisy one. She probably added that one word precisely because she didn’t feel like his face was fitting for his age.
>[Subaru: Foreigners do say that the Japanese seem to have childish faces. By the way, how old did you think I was?]
>[Emilia: 12……..no, 13! About 13!]
>[Subaru: Isn’t that younger than Felt!? Also, there’s wasn’t much of a difference even after you corrected yourself!]
>[Emilia: You said that, but I’ve also never drank before. Ah, I’m also of drinking age. I’m not 13.]
>[Subaru: I’m not wondering about that. If Emilia-tan was 13, I would be committing a crime.]
>[Emilia: Why would that be?]
>[Subaru: It’s because Emilia-tan is so cute that it makes me want to commit a crime.]
>[Emilia: And guess what, it’s about sake, but Puck said, “Don’t drink i~t]
>[Subaru: You heard me, but you’re going to ignore me!?]
She's a bunch of fetishes, hardly can i criticize someone who's into it, just not me personally.
>not having to break a part of his heart and another girl's by choosing.
At that time what Emilia wanted from him was his acceptance and friendship, so by choosing Rem all three would have been happy.
It's more like he thought he can get away with trying to have the cake and eating it too by taking the effort to make Emilia fall for him despite having at hand another relationship he actually wants to be in.
Maybe it's true that he's Pride
>Rem loves it when he's sleeping and defenseless
>he supposedly has a childish face
Is Rem a shotacon? And if Subaru is a lolicon for Emilia, then Rem really is Subaru with boobs. Bravo Tappei.
That's true, even if she had a small crush it wasn't something she would've cried over. It's more Greed than Pride imo. Also Aldebaran has the most foreshadowing as Pride in the novels.
But thanks to the coma this is now definitely the case. I really do wonder what would've happened if Rem wasn't Gluttony'd. Would Emilia tell him to fuck off? Was Rem kind of hoping for that so he can cry into her bosom later?
totally a childish face, S.M.O is for Subaru maji oji-san
>Would Emilia tell him to fuck off?
I highly doubt it. Given that Emilia allowed Subaru to love an unknown girl whom she knew nothing and had no memory about, it would be likely that Emilia would accept the polygamy even faster since she and Rem were already in a good relationship. Also Emilia would be moved by Rem's efforts to help Subaru save her.
She might just be fine with it because Rem is currently an unknown girl.
>Seeing Rem flutter her eyes in anticipation, Subaru waves to beckon her over. With Rem’s body drawn close, the palm of his hand caresses her blue hair. An invisible tail wags happily behind her as she blissfully closes her eyes. The faint sound of her gentle sniffing, the way she snuggles up to him, Subaru’s heart is in a panic.
>Having completely forgotten his original goal, Subaru is suddenly struck with a piercing stare from behind.
>“It’s amazing how, even when glaring with such scornful eyes, a beauty stays a beauty…. What’s up?”
>“Don’t ‘what’s up’ me. Our talk, if you cut off part-way, I’ll get reaaally bothered about it.”
>“Why is it you’re so merciless when it comes to me?!”
>Subaru yelled at Rem, who always bore in mind her position, or rather, bore in mind how to use her position to her advantage. While watching their comedy sketch-like exchange, Emilia looked thoughtful, then turned her head to the side as if trying to shake off an idea.
>“Probably, when Rem tried to give Subaru-kun some Fannel fruit-laced tea, she made a mistake and gave it to Emilia-sama instead…. Ah, Subaru-kun, don’t rub my head so hard, it hurts, it hurts!”
>“Bad kids need to be punished! Wait, so that’s what you were asking about!”
>Subaru finally realized the reason she asked him “if his body felt hot.” By mistake, the medicine meant for Subaru went to Emilia instead, and she became cheerful like this as a result. But that would mean,
>“If it’s supposed to make you honest, doesn’t that mean Emilia-tan’s actually pretty childish….?”
>“Booo, you two are always so close…. Nooo faaiiirrr----”
>Like, he could've talk to Roswaal much earlier and get a good chunk of information out of him. wasn't it clear that him comfortably lying in bed like that he was responsible for at least some of this situation.
The rest of your rant aside I can actually agree that the WN made it too obvious that Roswaal was behind pretty much everything too early. That scene from really early on where he pulls out his gospel and starts creepily caressing it pretty much gave it away. Even though it's natural for Subaru not to suspect he's that much of a shitter I dont think the readers could seriously think otherwise.
In the LN its a lot less obvious since Frederica is actually acting pretty weird and Roswaal is actually doing "useful" shit like sending Ram back to the mansion or telling Subaru how he can get Beatrice's help. Also he doesn't just randomly reveal he has a gospel to Subaru for no reason. Of course in retrospect its obvious he set frederica up and the other shit doesn't matter since he hired Elsa (in fact it makes sending Ram back even more of a dick move) but without foresight I honestly don't know if I would have called that.
It also fixes some of the other stuff you said, but that's probably one of the bigger ones
Finding the translated version of this on desuarchive is a nightmare. Maybe typeset anon will provide it. Here's the gist of it what each entry is saying.
>the eighties, this is where it started. (not really)
>after reading up on their characters this is what the artist came up with but it wasn't cute enough so it was scrapped
>the web version (presumably the description the WN gives)
>too bland for his tastes
>decided to add Japanese elements to the designs
>this was too much so they dialed it back and eventually got the final designs
Well Emilia might somewhat feel jealous of Rem, but like I say Emilia's gratitude and respect to Rem for risking her life saving Emilia could outweight any jealousy Emilia was having.
Well if Emilia couldn't even overcome her jealousy and acted ungrateful to Subaru then Emilia wouldn't deserve to have Subaru and he would go back to Rem.
Why is Rem so eager to sacrifice herself? What kind of a ridiculous martyr complex does she have?
>golly only i can save everyone if I die right now tehehe
Like, it was cute the first time but after a while it got to the point of annoyance haha. I started thinking she was best girl now she's dropping to the bottom of my rankings like a stone in a lake
It's literally shoved in your face she has an extremely poor opinion of herself, and she feels her only worth is to be either breaking her bones working to make up for what she thought when Ram lost her horn, and because she can never be on the level of Ram if she didn't lose it.
To the fact that she feels her everything is inferior due to it.
The kind where she spent her whole life trying to be an expendable Ram double to make up for her deepseated envy that she felt on that fiery night and only recently started to grow out of her inferiority complex.
martyrs don't feel inferior they feel superior. That's why they think they are so intent on martyring themselves. literally psych 101. You guys did go to college, right?
Well she wants to make a ripple in people's hearts when they are gone, so in a way she does wish to be remembered.
But otherwise yeah, it's not a martyr complex. But i don't think anyone used those words to explain her actions. The one who asked the question was the one that assumed it was a martyr complex.
When there's enough LN material to adapt, or maybe never.
Rei ayanami is different from that, her sense of self worth is pretty standard despite being unable to express it, especially given her drive to be recognised as a person. The "I can be replaced" line and her willingness to die for others is intentionally misleading because she meant that at face value because she knows that Gendo won't let her stay dead so losing that body won't even be a loss for her.
Rei's statement was pragmatic, while Rem's sacrifices indicate her personality issues
One of them wants to burn the country to the ground. Let's go with that one.
>[Rem: I want the people I love to always be cheery. Even if I’m gone, I want them to remember me with a smile on their face.]
>[Subaru: …..Isn’t it too early to talk about how you’ll become a memory?]
It's kinda conflicting.
She the equivalent of a living god working as her knight, she can get educated in the three years the election takes place, and
the indicators are pointing out that she is related to the deceased royal family that died from the mysterious disease. So that may give her a big boost if it gets confirmed.
The LN is what sells and is the "revised version" of the story.
Even now arc 4 is being shortened, some plot points made fast and other stuff like that. And they are also arranging certain things.
For example one of the things that happened in the WN but didn't in the LN, is the fact that apparently Puck and Emilia never fought the cult, while in the LN she froze one of the hands. In the WN he couldn't do that or else he breaks contract apparently, and remembers everything he lost prior to becoming a spirit.
Not to mention how WN has a lost loop where he goes to Beatrice and she mentions Rem, despite the fact Beatrice should have forgotten about Rem in the first place, and at the end of it Subaru dies due to being forced to suicide.
Just to clarify Beatrice's archive is immune to Gluttony somehow. So she remembers in both versions but in the WN this fools Subaru into thinking Rem is fine and has him ask her about Rem first thing when they talk in arc 4.
Speaking of which, why did Rem not abandon Crusch and run away? She was facing two fucking Sin Archbishops after all so nobody would blame her for running away and keeping her life.
Or it could mean Subaru wasn't the only thing for Rem. Other people were precious for her too.
Did the start of volume 9 start with Subaru talking to Satella in the shadow world with the whole proclaiming of love, talking about the sins, and how the world didn't allow them to be together and stuff like that?
I don't think we saw any confirmation on it. Did they skip it, or did they include it?
She seemed to be befriending Crusch before shit hit the fan. But the thing is. Where would she go? These guys are taking on a small army and they're several miles away, presumably in the middle of nowhere. If she takes a carriage she'll likely get singled out too.
One, she was in terrible condition, there was no way she could outrun two bishops, second, she's still a caring person, and third, figuring that she couldn't escape, she decided to buy time in order to save Crusch and possibly some others from death.
She's reasonable unlike her Envy persona but was the one to kill half the world and the other witches. So no. Not really. She can just be reasoned with and won't immediately kill you.
We don't know.
Satella has two personalities, Satella, and the witch of envy. Envy seems to be the one hurting Subaru and being yandere for him, while Satella, is calm, and seems to love Subaru too, but does not wish to see him hurt.
Satella however, was the one who killed all the other witches, who were her friends, and absorbed them, the narrative implies they died in different ways however, like fires, floods and such, so if Satella was responsible, she probably set up traps for them.
She was also the one who consumed half the world. Subaru feels something deep for her when he looks at her despite wanting to hate her, and she wants him to value his own life and not gamble it away and lose sight of himself by abusing Return by death. She also wishes to die by his hands, and claims Subaru did many things for her sake, pic related is what she said.
Subaru of course has no recollection of it, and is confused, so he figures she must be crazy, but can't shake off the feeling of love he feels for her, at first assuming it's manipulation.
Whatever it is, the narrative seems to imply she was being genuine, so most people assume Subaru was in that world 400 years prior, and something happened that made him forget everything.
Rem can jump high and run fast, can't she? I imagine she can use her strength to jump out of the battlefield and run back to where she just came from. If she had spent her mana on her horn instead of on Crusch, I think she would have made it out alive.
She was already being targeted and going back might be easier said than done. Earth dragons are comparable to cars when they run at full speed thanks to their blessing. A map would help determine how feasible this would be. They could've been very far from either stopping point on a route she's unfamiliar with.
Subaru would have been better with that face.
There are teenagers that look like they could be 25 when they're actually 17.
Good thing Emilia didn't get the baby face though.
The rich one seems nicest
Emilia is just shitty all around
Priscilla would see me as a meatshield and easily disposable judging by al's treatment
Crusch is second but too formal and doesn't seem fun to be around
Felt is literally retarded and most people aren't some gary stu knight who can do everything
I don't know.
How will a female react to this? I'm sure I'll do it at least once in my life. When I'm tired, I'll stumble over words and something silly will slip out.
I read Fahrenheit out-loud as "fillometers" in 6th grade, and the entire class went into a giggle fit.
>Seriously talking about why Rem didn't run away and leave Crusch-sama to die alone.
You are not only disrespecting the goddess, you are also disrespecting Rem.
It's funny because Anastasia is status quo but everyone thinks she's an evil jew. Crusch wants to do the Lugnican equivalent of throwing out the Magna Carta, Constitution, or any other huge political sacred cow.
One of the loops from the second trial has him shouting "THIS ISN'T WHAT YOU SAID WOULD HAPPEN ECHIDNA!!".
Spirits are Echidna's creations, artificial ones at least. So Puck is most likely made by her.
>but everyone thinks she's an evil jew.
No idea why people would think that since the show went into how she tries to get info to benefit herself but is fair in her trades even when she doesn't need to be.
There are other witches. Subaru meets then in arc 4, inside of a dream like realm.
The Bishops simply have their genes which gives them authorities.
The cult is only related to Satella, not the other witches however.
Watch these threads explode as the one night stand meme comes true and he uses Ram as his surrogate Rem.
People fearing that the fact that Ram seems to be mellowing out towards Subaru despite never stopping talking sass or bad things about him in the recent chapters of arc 6.
Plus the fact that Subaru had already displayed signs that he was seeing Rem on Ram as if trying to use it to cope. Couple it with the fact that maybe Ram despite her insane devotion to Roswaal, may have a falling out and wish for real love since Roswaal is a piece of a shit, and people started thinking that Ram may be falling for Subaru in some way.
It's not a certainty though. She's mostly concerned about Rem.
What's that about dragon hitler? She doesn't want to mess with it, she just doesn't want to renew the contract with the dragon.
A despair prediction based on Ram noticing he was seeing Rem for her and to cut it out and another joke saying everything she says comes true
>[Ram: Was your determination really that pure? Carefully reflect on yourself a bit more and make your speech again. …..If you unleash your sexual desires towards me, who looks extremely similar to Rem, Ram will also get the shivers up her back and run away.] (this was really uncool and inappropriate of her to say in context)
They're also interacting way more in the current arc.
It's meant to be a depressing NTR pity sex kind of theory for drama but anons still fap to the idea.
>Ram despite her insane devotion to Roswaal, may have a falling out and wish for real love since Roswaal is a piece of a shit
False. Ros will redeem himself in the end and get together with Ram for real. She'll find true happiness.
But he won't give up on peepee witch and probably did terrible things for centuries.
Where the fuck are people getting the "wants to fight the dragon" part? Are you all just crazy or didn't you pay attention?
The anime made it short as fuck, but what she wants is to not renew the covenant with it.
Either Emilia or Felt.
Emilia is probably the best choice for the country.
But then again Felt just doesn't give a fuck about anything, which is a pretty healthy attitude as well.
Probably. Their world is smaller in population and maybe size. Some individuals would draw out the war though. And if we somehow count the witches then everyone would lose, Earth included. Reinhard would never have to worry about a firearm for instance or a nuke. Wilhelm can do all that crazy shit without magic and so can Rem even without her horn. Magic takes a bit of learning so it's not as accessible as guns are but it's way easier to conceal. Certain types of magic have things we can't fight against or never had to deal with before. Like Ram's illusion. So while we have the advantage it's hard to say at times.
Do you not wish to be on the winner's side?
Oh and earth dragons are about equal to cars in terms of speed due to no wind resistance and flight spells exist (probably not that common though). There are air dragons as well but I don't think it was stated that they were domesticated so who knows if they have access to those.
Regulus probably wouldn't pursue, as he probably wouldn't be very interested in her, but Batenkaitos already ate a bunch of the memories of everyone else in the Whale hunt. We can assume he already knew Rem was an important participant, and I think quite a few of them were aware of her connection to the man who provided the info on the whale. A few of them had probably seen them about to makeout. The kind of passion she shows is probably exactly the kind of thing Ley likes to eat.
Now, his physical abilities aren't unimpressive either. He has a large scar on his shoulder from Rem's flail, meaning that little punk somehow survived a blow from it. If Rem tried to run away, he'd probably have given chase until she collapsed out of exhaustion.
Yes but it's really just a simple bundle of images, i barely tried.
My hypothesis is that Satella is Emilia sent back in time.
Depending on how the story's rules are on time travel fuckery it could be an inevitability that Emilia becomes her in order to avoid paradoxes
So, anyone else notice that Re:Zero is usually pretty obvious in announcing which sin Subaru is going to be struggling with in any given part of the story? In the first Arcs, I think there are plenty of mentions of how late he sleeps, how he's never worked before, and isn't going to school. I'm pretty sure he also thinks of himself as a NEET in one of the sidestories. He also gives Rem a speech about relying on others, and there's plenty of focus on how she overworks himself. This all comes to an obvious conclusion with the Betelgeuse thing.
Then the story starts focusing on Greed, and again it's still very obvious about it. Perhaps even more on the nose about it than it was with Sloth, if that's possible. While Greed was largely resolved with Echidna, Regulus is still the next Bishop to go down.
So, I was wondering if any conspicuous lines came up in Arc 6, but I think we all already know which Sin came into focus in that one. I mean, with all the talk of Mabeasts, Ram's mana starvation, and fixing Rem. Still, we need the personal expression of Gluttony from Subaru to seal the deal. Now, this next line is important only in the context that the Bishops of Gluttony don't feed on anything physical, and the emptiness they try to fill most certainly isn't in their literal stomachs.
>[Ram: I’m all too familiar with the depths of men who lack composure. Barusu’s especially is one that has an open hole where your contents are being poured out, so you should be careful. To have people become aware of your depths and then finding out you’re empty inside is the worst.]
I think it's pretty safe to bet that Gluttony is next on the hit list.
That's the low hanging fruit theory that everyone is kind of hoping Tappei avoids. He seems to be aware of that and at least threw a curveball at Subaru and Flugel connection.
>lazy shut-in and workaholic shut-in become lovers
You know maybe it's for the best Rem doesn't know about Subaru's past in detail.
It's one thing to hear about it, but another thing to hear about it in dirty detail. Still, I bet she would think galge games are cool because it's strange and new technology to her.
Satella is an imbecile, probably a bit dumber than Emilia, and was ultimately coerced into consuming the other witches and ultimately devouring half the world by a bigger bad, probably using Subaru as collateral. There are already a couple big names who could be or be connected to that person.
That theory comes from that although Satella and The Witch of Envy are incredibly powerful, they have yet to have done anything, aside from assimilating the other witches, displays a clear amount of forethought towards a greater goal.
Killing half the world may have been a means to some type of end. She got sealed before anything else could've happened it seems. But that's an understatement when half the world is involved.
Not necessarily the Bishops. Regulus didn't die until Arc 5, when the Greed focus was brought up in Arc 4. However, there will probably be a focus on Gluttony as it relates to Subaru.
There might be a way, depending on how Shaula interprets orders. For instance, if she were ordered not to harm any of the people "Flugel" brought with him, how would she react to people who were partially those people due to having absorbed important portions of them?
We know that she thinks of Subaru as Flugel despite them bearing no physical resemblance, so she might let Ley get by because she sees him as Rem.
Yes. Every other arc now that I think about it. Odd arcs focus on the election and their factions in some way. Even arcs are a different adventure the segues into the election based next arc. Unfortunately arc 5 has no translations yet.
I was also thinking about the reasons the other witches don't hold a grudge for Satella doing what she did. I came up with either Satella and the other witches believing that devouring half the world was necessary for some unexplained reason, or that only Satella herself was acting under that impression, but the other witches never blamed her for being under that impression, which would make sense if she was either simple, naive and easily manipulated, or that she was blackmailed and coerced into doing what she did.
That just gave me the impression that it would have been impossible for them to forgive her after the fact, that would mean that at the time of their deaths they never put any blame on Satella herself to begin with.
Speculating at what the hell happened 400 years ago seems pointless, too many unknowns, but it sure is fun to think of the most ridiculous reason that could be plausible.
Would you support Emilia if you got your own Remu?
Chapter 6 of arc 6 is here
Julius and Subaru talking, with Julius touching upon his past it seems.
I want to nibble her ears
Is that wrong?
What are you talking about, anon?
Ferri is best girl
I want to decorate her elf ears
in the land where all is best
Emilia is a worse
Would you teach Emilia how babies are made?
I'd rather teach her why socialism doesn't work
You wait until the sun goes down and he's asleep in her pendant thing
By the time he wakes up it will be too late
When the time comes after she matures mentally into the best breeding material with your help.
Reinhard would cut your dick off before you ever got close
she doesn't even have OK status
she is just a dumb witch
Do you think Puck ever jerks off to Emilia? He was a human at one point so he would still have those urges, right? I know I sure would if I was watching over her 24/7.
I imagine that when Emilia is taking a bath, Puck quietly retreats into his crystal and tells her that he's "busy" while quickly rubbing one out.
Not to mention all the weird stuff in their contract where he chooses Emilia's hairstyle and clothes. I bet he made her do some kinky shit when they were alone in the forest. Fucking slut.
None of the candidates have boyfriends though
the truth is hard, Emiliashitter
the only best ever is Rem and all others are just a little better than Emilia but not nearly as good as Rem
by saying Emilia is even SLIGHTLY good you are an Emiliashitter
no, no, no and no
>you will never have a Beako cling to you while sleeping because being in your arms makes her feel safe and loved and not alone anymore
things don't have to get ugly
as long as everyone can know that Emilia is worse than absolute dogshit wrapped in crack and Rem is beststststst, there will be no problems.
also i ran out of boy's club
>emilia is physically 114 years old
>still looks like she's 18
>Emilia will watch Subaru grow old and die at her side
>she'll be mentally mature enough to be at peace with it, happy at his finding rest
>Beako will still be a little girl, unable to cope with being abandoned again
>spicish emt fag falseflagging
I'm onto you, cunt.
Emilia will outlive her 3/4 human children and becomes a centuries long queen. Think about that for a moment. All the other candidates you might dislike will at least eventually pass it onto their children and then die.
>you just had a night of passionate love-making with Emilia
>you wake up and see this
What do you do?
say sorry and make love to Rem instead
>[Julius: The Gusteko kingdom isn’t able maintain their main road smoothly in the first place with how it’s always covered in snow. It’s deep in the snow that was there from the start. As for the Volcanica kingdom and the Kararagi city-state, there are people with different manners and customs in proportion to the many races jumbled together. In that sense, it may be hard to say that public order is kept there.]
>[Subaru: I see.]
Reminder this is where Elsa lived
What if you're not Subaru and she bullies you?
>[Subaru: The person is looking away during the serious conversation because of the timing. You should take it easy too. You’re straining yourself too much.]
>[Julius: You and I aren’t watching out, and why……]
>[Subaru: You don’t have to tense up that much. They won’t attack us so quickly. If they try to fight us, we won’t get killed at such a spacious place.]
>Subaru interrupts him, and says that as he cracks his head. Julius blinks his eyes, as if Subaru had said something unexpected.
After that, this handsome man let out a small sigh.
Well aren't you one cocky guy Subaru.
Back before Rem was forgotten, Emilia actually admitted to being jealous of how close those two were when she was drugged. There were definitely scenes where she was watching them both from behind, like she was considering something.
She still shows some signs of jealousy here and there, but I don't think it's the same as seeing them both interact together. Seeing them interact as an actual couple would probably push it a bit further, but we'll see how it plays out.
Rem is basically Ram with a "polite" filter but if she had a computer would the filter come off?
