Reading romcoms and haremshit is like eating the same flavored cake over and over again, some people get sick of the taste while others can still enjoy it. Masamune-kun on the other hand is like if a cake looks like it's the same flavor as the other ones but in actuality is several weeks past it's expiration date and tastes like stale cardboard.

As someone who can find at least a little bit of enjoyment in even the trashiest romcoms, this series was a pain to sit through. The whole 'gimmick' of getting revenge becomes irrelevant after a bit because it gets really obvious that he's not going to go through with it.

I think it can go on for a while longer. The "revenge" is gone but there's still plenty of shit left unanswered. Take Neko for example, she was shown to have been with Masamune when she was younger too and it hasn't been touched on once since that point. There's the crossdresser probably going to start up some drama too after getting punched in the face and her sister being ill. Aki's personality is still trash. The maid hasn't gotten her ass spanked either. Unless a lot of that stuff just gets brushed under the rug I can see it continuing for a while yet.

Just remember the series is called Masamune's revenge and right now that can easily be shifted from Aki to someone else (currently the Maid, could easily shift over to Neko when her backstory actually gets explained etc.).
