Suzuka is a decent watch if you don't like reading. KNIM anime is god tier garbage.

In terms of manga KNIM > Suzuka though, by far (IF you like dramas, else just go read Suzuka since it's solely focused on romance while KNIM is focused on drama and romance)

Go with KNIM. It starts slow, it goes from 0 to 100 real fast, gets amazing then around chapter 55 it slowly dies as it gets into the manga's worst arc, however afterwards everything is great, especially around chapter 160+. Won't spoil you why though. KNIM is great.

As for Suzuka, it's a decent read as well but it focuses on romance only, although I still preferred both the story and the romance in KNIM.

Well, I understand why some of you don't like Yuzuki, most likely because of Kazama arc. I also felt like she was a bitch but I just couldn't hate her after learning the whole backstory.

He was the only one that helped her during school while she was feeling lonely, so he was pretty much her only friend during all the years she spent in that school, plus he pretty much blackmails her into saying he has a terminally ill disease so she can date him, he helped her so with the whole blackmailing + having that "in debt" feeling is probably what made her break up with Haruto.

Like someone said a few weeks ago, she was just too weak willed. And it's true, we are shown throughout the manga that she has a weak will, she's always insecure, always feeling lonely, always needing Haruto to "save her" (hence why she lied so blatantly in her letter so that she could perhaps catch his attention).

I just can't get myself to hate her after all of this, plus after chapter 160+ it just gets too heart warming.

Well, I explained in the other Fuuka thread when someone posted something about it.

I understand that some people loved Asuka because of how forgiving and simplistic she was, that's fine but leaving our emotions/preferences aside, it was kind of obvious that it would happen eventually, and I'm not even saying this because Yuzuki is the MC.

If you remember, Asuka proposed to him while Haruto was still depressed about Yuzuki, she knew that he still loved Yuzuki and still "forced" (in a way) him into having a relationship with her, even Haruto says that it may be a good change of pace to try and forget Yuzuki.

This pretty much confirms that he still loved Yuzuki when he got into a relationship with Asuka (Obviously he also liked Asuka but you know.. rebound and all that shit).

When you go into a relationship while being in love with someone else, it will eventually bite you in the ass, unfortunately the only reason their break up didn't happen sooner was because Yuzuki was gone from the story at that point. (Which was also realistic & believable, I mean, you wouldn't date your best friends gf right after he died would you?)

It WAS to be expected sooner or later if Yuzuki ever end up showing up in the story.

But I also realize that Asuka was a really good girl, but she also wasn't the best fit for him, he himself says that he feels terrible about himself for dating someone who just forgives him for everything and never put him in his place.
