I expected unpretentious tongue-in-cheek comedy and action with Sore ga Seiyuu girls and I got unpretentious tongue-in-cheek comedy and action with Sore ga Seiyuu girls and great sakuga. I guess it was a good start.

I thought the animation was pretty solid. Even the backgrounds looked really decent and didn't clash with the characters too badly. The art style was nice and goofy; it fits the style, characters and story pretty well too.

Of course, it was only the first episode and there's plenty of time for the budget to run out and quality to shoot up.

Mayo's looking to be a top tier girl, but the others girls are really great too. We'll have to wait and see.

It feels like the second coming of Sore ga Seiyuu and that alone makes me enjoy it. It was pretty fun otherwise though.

Was expecting it to be mediocre, almost dropped it at the start, was hooked when it started picking up mid way in the episode.
The comedy isn't gonna make you laugh, but they will certainly amuse.
This is the kind of show that revels in its silliness and does a good job of it being quite self aware at times, the girls all seem like best tier Akiba Vigilante girl is also a cute. I also dig the fact MC isn't the straightman character, the artstyle and animation look goofy at times, and there are plenty of stills when girls get stripped, but it's paradoxically better for it.
But while the fights can be quite the spectacle, there is barely any "camera" work, it's all static side shots, barely any movement or action outside of the characters themselves.
It's basically Konosuba tier, except the MC is a mix of Kazuma when he gets hype and "Dāku Ando Dāku" guy from Inou battle.
If season 2 of Konosuba wasn't airing, this would definitely be my most anticipated each week.
