I found her death more sad than Rolo's, but I only felt truly sad during Code Geass when Euphemia died and maybe when Lelouch got himself stabbed.

I cried more during Rolo's death desu, which was surprising.
I guess it was that Shirley's death sort of just came out of nowhere, and its reality didn't really register. Might've been a bit rushed, honestly.

I bawled like a lil bitch a few times in the first half of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga adaption.

I will never understand why people hate on Shirley. She was the best character on there. Her death nearly put me off continuing.

She was perhaps a more main character than Nunnally who barely did anything during S1. Rolo was a dull, charmless character and his death felt dull too.
