Just finished WUG and its movie.
The story was certainly drama driven, you always felt like you were in a no-win situation
Characters were interesting
The idols were okay
Everybody else who was in charge was either a sleezeball or incompetent
The rivalry with I-1 was everything I wished for in an idol anime.
I wish there had been more songs, the ones they had were okay.
I like the whole concept of starting from the bottom and working your way up the ladder
I hated the ending though
What did /a/ think of WUG?
I liked it.
Hope the new season keeps it about the same.

I'm waiting on the next movie, it would be interesting to see the WUG team expand
Which WUG would you FUG?

Miyu or Minami

Beyond the bottom?
I caved in and watched it on kissanime since who knows when the group that did the first movie will finish. The subs are mediocre. Sufficient enough though.

That one and the 2nd one, I will probably tackle those tomorrow

WUG was great. The semi-realistic take on the idol industry was really charming, especially given how saccharine and escapist most idol series' are.. Make sure to watch the Wake Up, Girl Zoo! shorts for a laugh, too.

>idol industry
I never felt comfortable every time I saw someone who wasn't an idol. I was always wondering who was going to get screwed over next.

Reminds me of another idol group from way back in the day.
New designs look dead inside.
What makes WUG go with movies over an anime?
Are movies cheaper or something?
Best WUGs
WUG is great because it allowed nanamin to get picked up my idolm@ster and voice best gyaru.
Thank you wug-chan
