But if you read my post, I already mentioned that "if you're getting DESPERATE" and nobody is telling you source despite you asking.

And at the end of the day you're not exactly entitled to getting source for everything posted in the thread. If the poster wants to give source, that's cool. If other people in the thread recognize it and help you out that's great. But if by some chance nobody in the threads knows it, or nobody wants to help you, then that's that. The thread will die, life will move on, you won't always get everything you want on demand.

A neat trick you can try is reverse psychology. Make a post asking for source, make another post in response pretending to know the source but you won't give it. Try to sound as big of a "know it all" asshole as possible. Then wait for someone to swoop in and give you source just to spite the "guy who doesn't want to give source". I've gotten so many people to do this for me before it's hilarious. Some days ago I even made someone give source to every image in the thread, feeling kinda bad now about making them waste so much time but oh well.

I've seen some people dump raws before on /a/, this gathered the interest of some people who knew japanese and people good with photoshop, so the cleaning and translation process happened right here. If the manga is interesting it actually might happen. Else you can try contacting some scanlation groups, some of them would do it for free assuming you provide them with the scans, so long as it falls in their specific niche. (like /ak/ )
