Really Golden Age arc is the best Berserk has to offer and I like how the old anime did it. Really the manga only adds more rape which, except for the Casca one, doesn't really add anything. Don't care that the animation is bad, it's still pretty looking the VA's are great and the music is awesome.

It's creepy, until you think about it.
The issue is that they're..too familiar with one another already? That they've already spent a significant amount of their lives living together? It's especially an easier transition if they weren't just raised together from the cradle.

I have adopted siblings, and the only thing that kept me from even "trying" that kind of thing was a combination of the age difference and the fact that they're all terrible people. I will not miss sharing a house with them at any stage of my life.

Manga makes the art appears to have more gravitas which is contrast with the content while the animation purposefully uses less animation to make the off beat scenes more interesting.
