Today Miyazaki turns 76!
What is your favorite work from him?
The one where he dies.
I loved his meme, it's pretty dank
whispers of the heart, favorite ghibli film too
I thought he was on his 80's Now I know he's going to be around the industry for at least 10 years more
The affront to life.

Please don't
I don't want to listen how Anime dies with him

My favourite work from him is Cory in the house.
Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi because it was one of the firsts anime I watched with a lot of people and it was really fun. Recently I've watched it with my younger cousin and it's always a good experience.
Of course it's not his best work, his best work is The wind rises.

>his best work is The wind rises.
You are a dirty Anno-fangirl, aren't you?

Tee-hee~No, not really. I didn't really like The Wind Rises the first time I saw it but after a rewatch and an exposure to the Ghibli documentary 'The kingdom of dream and madness' I felt how much Miyazaki had put in his works trought the years, and how much he loves life itself. The wind rises grew into me but only because I got to understand how much work Miyazaki and the team put into it. It's not my favorite movie but I can acknowledge the love and effort put into it, and that's why I think is his best work. Now if we talk about Ghibli's best production, that would be Kaguya.

>Now I know he's going to be around the industry for at least 10 years more
Miyazaki is going to be making movies till the day he dies. Just like Kon!;_;

Wind Rises and Kaguya were the best of Ghibli. The two masters went out on a high.
kiki
i really like ocean waves though
Mononoke
Still think he's got grandpa syndrome something fierce. Stephen Fry's been at it too. Poor old cunts.

I like Porco Rosso mostly because i want to fuck the lolis at the beginning of the film and because the flying sequences are fucking amazing.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Why is it that whenever I hear about Miyazaki, I wanna laugh?
>>151855854
Because whenever Miyazaki enters your mind, happiness is only a faint memory that you need to struggle to keep alive.
