It saddens me how in just a few years Jojo went from having one of the chillest fanbases on /a/ to being an obnoxious tumblr-infested cancer on the board. I can remember there were people fearing that the new anime would ruin the fanbase, but I dimissed it as doomsaying. But even if we had listened I don't think anything could be done to stop this.

I think spending time on /wsg/ to post sound webms for anime is what made me realize how terrible the Jojo fanbase had become. They have multiple general threads on /wsg/ for their shitty memes. In fact there seem to be people who spam those awful "to be continued" webms without any knowledge of where the meme came from. It reached demotivational poster levels of unfunny forced garbage, with people just slapping it onto literally any webm they found.
