SeL treats its themes more more thoroughly, but it's not supposed to be particularly deep.
It's just that DEEP fags tend to latch onto it because they think the fucked-up cryptic storytelling is some kind of mystical experience that's gonna enlighten them.
It's actually a natural result of the premise of the show. It's a mystery show told from the perspective of a freaky AI who's been made to think she's human.
It's not a universal tale about humanity and technology that's supposed to change the way you see the world. It's just a conspiracy plot in a fantastical setting.
