>Who would want to see the sequel of such a horrible cartoon?
>Do you think that fans will be pleased to finish abortion and make a sequel smell
Dude, that would have happened if it was Ichiruki either way.
The manga got that because of fanboys/fangirls complaining about of Orihime getting with Icihgo and Rukia getting with Renji.
See here. The fanboys are pissed that their waifu didn't get to be with their husbando.
It's just faggots being butthurt.

>When I read it, my heart is cold enough to get cold, but if I write a book for a fire, only the body warms up.
Amazon jp has a lot more downvote trolls than english Amazon it's amazing.
How can you fucked up that fucking much fucking bleach man. Separated the main couple and shit out a buncha kids to really seal the deal as afinal fucking fuck you to the fucking fans. He might as well carve"FUCK YOU" on my chest and took a shit on it. Fucking Kubo man, may he never sleep soundly ever again and pissed and shit himself everytime
>people mad that a historically linear game is linear.
Personally, I just want an open world 3D Pokemon that abandons the turn-based system for an action one that relies on skill. Surprised FF did it first, to be honest.
>Separated the main couple
Yeah that main couple that had no on-screen romantic chemistry of any sort and had less reason to exist than the coupling that did happen, which at least came from one of the characters literally being defined by her love for Ichigo.
Bleach's writing is hot garbage where what you see is what you get, albeit in a poorly explained manner. There is no subtlety in this series, and since there is no overt romantic implications between Ichigo and Rukia (or any for that matter) expecting them to end up together makes you literally retarded.
Thanks god Pokemon is successful enough to not have to destroy its soul to sell. Before I get shitposted do death FFXV story was fine and the action system is a good idea on paper, they just turned the complex gameplay into spam teleport to win.
>Oda's face when Kubo will never work as mangaka for Shueisha ever again
>Yeah that main couple that had no on-screen romantic chemistry of any sort and had less reason to exist than the coupling that did happen, which at least came from one of the characters literally being defined by her love for Ichigo.
Maybe that's true but it doesn't matter if the bigger chunk of fans end up liking the wrong pairing anyway. It cant have just been a fluke that the wrong pairing was so much more popular than the right one. You can't blame anyone but Kubo for that. Like how bloody easy would it have been for him to have put in Rukia giving Orihime a little advice about Ichigo or teasing her a bit before she fucked off to Mexico. That would have killed IchigoxRukia dead years ago. Or just have Ichigo refer to rukia as an old lady/ Rukia refer to ichigo as a little kid.
Don't misunderstand me, I didn't root for any pairing. I just think Kubo could have saved himself a lot of hassle and backlash if he'd killed off any Ichigoxrukia potential concisely years ago.
Do you understand that FF15 is official kusoge and betrayed expectation of people?
It's real reviews read them. And try to compare agaist amazone.com ones
1. It rectified critisisms that the Fake Karakura Town war had
2. It actually connected back with all the Qunicy stuff that was built up (and the final villian was integral)
3. The art is still good
4. Manga got light novels despite the rushed ending to tie up shit instead of forcing it down to 2 movies and a gaiden to explain shit like ANOTHER MANGA I KNOW.
5. There were plenty of characters like Rukia, and Soi Fon who got good fights. Hell, Renji actually didn't job at all either since he beat Mask De Masculine.
Because he wouldn't know what the arrow would do until after it hit; at which point it would be too late to do anything about it. If Yhwach just dodged it like anyone else would, he'd have won, but he was already too used to relying on his Almighty.
Square Enix is the new Blizzard
They could release a desiccated turd with the words "Final Fantasy" carved on it and the fanboys would still hail it as a contemporary RPG masterwork
>the art is still good
That fucking same oval face with a line on the upper lip. Earlier, they have characters and distinctions to them, only to become male models later on. Its seems to be a real problem with long running manga
This just proves westerners are lemmings. FFXV is boring with uninteresting character designs (the main character is literally 3D Sasuke) and pokemon is just the same old fucking game done a million times before
>why does everyone hate the FFXIII trilogy
Maybe /v/ and /vg/ do (and for good reason)
The trilogy averages 3.9 stars (PS4) and 4.0 stars (Xbox) on Murkan Amazon, wouldn't exactly call it "hate"
>Rukia refer to ichigo as a little kid.
She literally does when they first meet though? She says something along the lines of "what in the world is this child?"
>He tanked his life's legacy just as a fuck you to Jump.
>Dude's a hero.
Well when you put it like that it does make him seem kind of great. I think you might be giving him too much credit though.
>stated that he always planned to end the manga with kazui and ichika meeting
>people still think the ending is to spite JUMP
What went wrong was that Kubo chose the wrong girl for the IchiBowl
He can say whatever he wants too but its not necessarily true to be fair. Turns out Hermione was black all along.
I'm pretty sure he hadn't even come up with Renji at the start of Bleach.
I believe it. Not sure if he always planned it though, but it would make sense as to why he decided to create Renji. He turned out to be her love interest and the one she had a child with. I
Ichigo already had Orihime so he needed one for Rukia.
Hermione was never meant to be black all along, JK Rowling just said that there was nothing in her character that stated that she couldn't be black if people wanted to read her that way
>>two and a half stars on amazon.jp
You mean the shitposters that put 1 star on everything?
It sold 500k, the rukia novel is a best seller and it's getting a live action movie.
>What went wrong?
You're a pathetic fucking faggot (ie shipper)if you think that the problem with bleach was the couples and not the plot.
The way so many of these posters act its like this was aharem or shoujo manga. It was a battle shonen manga. Romance is the least thought through and least important aspect of this genre. Shippers were asking to get burnt if they ever had any kinds of expectations going into this manga.
The first 2/3rds of the bloodwar arc were great with tension and lots of revelation then the elite sternritters came and it went to shit.
I think the happy ending with the couples and new generation is what he had in mind, but getting there was the problem. He just needed to give us a good final fight, answer a few missing questions, show the missing bankais and show the missing characters. If he did, I feel like the backlash wouldn't have been so harsh.
Mayuri vs Pernida was 10/10
Shunsuis fight started out great but the flashbacks were too frequent and broke up the pacing, 'plot sword' complaints aside.
Askin fight was decent until Kisuke used his Bankai, that finale was fantastic.
Gerard fight was mostly just exposition and fanservice for the popular captains with a massively anticlimactic finish.
>Gerard fight was mostly just exposition and fanservice for the popular captains with a massively anticlimactic finish.
The fucking worst fight. Not that it matters since I'm sure the nips loved adult Toshiro and his interactions with Byakuya.
In one of the books she came back with a fucking tan after the summer. She also chose Emma Watson herself and openly referred to her skin color in terms for Caucasians. Rowling also pointed out several times when characters were black in stories, the only reason she said this bullshit about Hermione being black is due to her growing incredibly PC.
Or maybe her skin colour really has no effect on her character? Just because she was written as white doesn't mean she couldn't be black. What really would change apart from a really minor visual characteristic?
The ending was fucking atrocious. Years of building up the final fight wasted by 'lol we're in the future now.' Not to mention that he left a shitload of things unresolved that left most people unsatisfied. The only people who liked the ending are shipperfags.
>shitload of things unresolved
these shitload of things are addressed in the novel. and in the spring another one is coming out, which will address the SK, fullbringers, arrancars and noble families.
>read the novel lol
Even if the novel answers questions that doesn't make the ending of the manga any less shit. Novels should be used to expand on characters, not tell you vital shit that HAD to be on the manga.
I stopped watching after the filler arc about the little girl halfway during the Hueco Mundo arc. Can someone explain to me (preferably in detail and without memes) how Bleach fell from one of the big Shounen Three to a mockery and a joke? Even ignoring /a/'s shitposting, Bleach went from being one of the most frequent cover contributors of Shounen Jump to a rushed anime with a manga that was ended on editorial mandate.
What happened? Even if we consider Soul Society to be a lucky fluke, Bleach remained popular well into the Arrancar/Hueco Mundo arc.
>Even if we consider Soul Society to be a lucky fluke, Bleach remained popular well into the Arrancar/Hueco Mundo arc.
People have been holding out hope until the very end that Soul Society wasn't a fluke. They thought that HM's tediousness was the fluke, and that it'll all get better later on like the good old days. But Kubo really turned out to be a poor writer, not a master troll or something.
After the anime studio shitted on Kubo scrypt for the Hell movie, Kubo got so mad that he aborted the Hell arc in the manga and started a new arc from scratch, the fullbringer-arc. That arc was so bad that Kubo got brain damage from it.
She never said that. She just said her race was never explicitly stated, so if they wanted to cast a black actress it wouldn't be a problem.
How about just listening to the creators? Kubo was not trying to spite WSJ. Ichirukifaggots, stop being so retarded. This is why no one likes you.
>Kubo could have saved himself a lot of hassle and backlash if he'd killed off any Ichigoxrukia potential concisely years ago.
This and not prepping up Ichigo->Orihime more is what Kubo did wrong.
I remember back in SS arc when Ichigo/Rukia shippers said Renji/Rukia is dead, but I was thinking, it could have easily been killed after the "resolution" (Rukia apologizes and accepts that she's worth saving, they're friends again, Renji fades into the background as he realizes Ichigo is better for her). But rather than that, Kubo made Renji grandly state "I'll never let her go, you bastard" to the series' big bad with Rukia in his arms, and would gladly die for her if not for Ichigo's timely help. And then HM arc came and Renji's there again, beginning their frequent co-appearances instead of fading into the background like Yamcha.
Conversely, the same thing happens to Ichigo/Rukia. Rather than properly showing how Orihime makes Ichigo feel, after the "thanks to you, the rain has stopped" resolution at the end of SS arc, Kubo keeps revisiting how time and again, Rukia is the person who can kick Ichigo back into shape and keep showing significant eye contacts between Ichigo and Rukia.
When Kubo said he didn't want romance to be the focus, perhaps what he meant to say was "I can't write romance".
>Rather than properly showing how Orihime makes Ichigo feel
>keep showing significant eye contacts between Ichigo and Rukia.
He does this a lot with Ichigo and Orihime too. Re-read the manga.
>Rukia is the person who can kick Ichigo back into shape
Not really. A lot of different characters have been shown to kick him into shape or raise his spirits by tough love-his father, Yoruichi, Chad, Ganju etc.
After the SS arc, she does it twice. The HM arc with the "man in my heart speech" and then in the FB when she returns his powers and that's literally it.
Part 4 is released in the app. Aside from the part already translated (Shinji showing up, Dark Momo), there's also the start of Reports 3 with Hitsugaya visiting his grandma in Rukongai and running into Ganju, Isshin is mentioned.
When does he do this for another girl? I know he also went through hell to rescue Rukia, but I don't remember him literally going into berserk mode with her sole safety on his mind.
Ichigo has always wanted to protect people. What I meant is more stuff like pic.
>Hitsugaya visiting his grandma in Rukongai and running into Ganju
>Isshin is mentioned
Oh wow, could it actually be happening?
>implying /a/ hasn't been shitting on bleach for years
80% of the posts in bleach threads over the past 6 years have been people complaining about how shit it is. Just because Ichigo got his end away with the titty monster doesn't suddenly make it a quality series.
But Narutofags are the only ones who actually care about how shitty it is, to the point where they spam Bleach threads when the fanbase has clearly set sail long ago. Just goes to show how insecure they are about how shit Naruto is that they need to remind everyone that theres at least one other battle shounen that sucks as hard as Naruto does.
Are there any anime/manga where a tsundere slowly loses respect for someone she used to be deredere towards, but pays attention to them anyway because she can't let go of the happy times they spent together?
Yes, the biggest tragedy from all of this is there will never be anymore content to feature final chapter Karin.
Oh like a beaten wife I've been back here every week for years. Theses threads are like 20 people arguing or circle wanking about shipping. Back in 06 to 10 you had hundreds of people in bleach threads and shipping hardly ever came up.
I'm a RenRuki shipper from SS arc who feels like >>151801719 though. I dropped Bleach some time after the Kenpachis Muken fight, but still occasionally catch up to see if it'll ever be good again. But then the 192739 sternritters happen, soul king is never explained, fullbringers are deus ex machina and so are the dads. And no Kubo can't even draw Renji and Rukia looking lovey dovey in their own wedding novel.
So me pointing out that IRfags would be the ones shitting up Bleach threads instead if their ship was canon makes me a Rukiafag? Kek.
Anon. We'd all know that Bleach fandom would in no way be "peaceful" if Ichirukifags won.
>Kubo can't even draw Renji and Rukia looking lovey dovey in their own wedding novel.
They're literally flustered and blushing like mad over simply announcing that they're getting married. Rukia isn't even looking at the shinigami around the table because of how flustered she is.
Nayura should have beeen in the manga.
Ryuunosuke shouldn't have.
This is illustrating how bad Kubo's planning is.
I don't think anyone would even discuss bleach anymore if ichiruki had won. Bleach threads over the last few months have been mostly laughing at ichiruki fags but if the roles where reversed I don't think the ichihime fags would kick up much of a fuss.
Does Renji x Rukia remind anyone else of Roy x Riza? Both pairings are attached at the hip and both don't have overly-done romantic scenes, but we know and can feel that they both care for each other a lot. It's subtle, but there. I like it.
The pinpointed moment that Bleach passed the point of no return was the moment they entered Hueco Mundo.
It was irreperably shit for 10 years, almost to the day.
Ichigo's magic training session to get a new power that took his powers away for good (honest) and beating Aizen off panel was the final nail.
I'm an Ichihimefag, and I would've been upset of course but I wouldn't have made the fuss IRfags are doing. They've just completely lost it at this point and I think the diaper fanfic proves it.
So.... I'm a fan of bleach and will always remember the good parts but I'm not delusional enough to say that it's overall good. You gotta actually think about if you where the editor what would you remove? If your answer is less than half the content I would be surprised.
>One IchiRukifag writes a diaper fanfic and so we are all guilty of writing a diaper fanfic.
I like both.
Renji/Rukia, Roy/Riza, Gin/Rangiku, Sanosuke/Megumi, Hiruma/Mamori, Kyo/Tohru, Shikamaru/Temari, Setsuna/Marina, Harry/Kihel, Erwin/Levi/Hanji, Orga/Merrybit.
Aside from the last one, I like to think my shipping records so far has been bretty good.
Nah, but it's already 2017. How long are you people going to keep complaining over the same things?
>you can't refute people like sorisanam who made good points.
Like about the manga in general or pairings? If its about the manga then I agree that there were things that went wrong and what-not, if it's about pairings then I feel like every argument IR fans have come up with have been debunked in the manga by Kubo himself.
An IRfag started to talk about pairings though.
>makes good points
I honestly have not come across one Ichihime fan that thought Orihime would be on the final cover. Most thought it would be either Ichigo or Kazui.
I thought the final cover would either be
-Ichigo and Rukia since they started the whole adventure
-Ichigo and Rukia along with Kazui and Ichika aka the old and new death & strawberry
We thought we would get a doodle in the final volume, but we got it in the novel instead.
I would've agreed back in the SS arc, but after that arc Kubo is pretty much done with it. It's practically non-existent in the last two arcs.
It'll always be important though since she gave him the power to protect, but I don't think it's the most important.
>that diaper fanfic
It still haunts my dreams.
I don't understand why IRfags just can't let it go.
>Urahara leaving it to Kurosaki and Kuchiki despite Rukia being much weaker than Ichigo
>Aizen monologuing about courage as a concluding summary of the series, cut to Ichigo and Rukia
It's toned down, but not nonexistent, and still highlighted both in and out of the story. Even in Kubo's postscript, he focuses on people who like the characters, Ichigo or Rukia, will cry like he did. Compare this with how much emphasis he (not) put on Ichigo and Orihime's connection.
>Kubo apparently planned on cancelling the anime 5 years earlier due to declining health but only kept going after reading a letter from a dead fan.
Anon, that's cool n' all.
But you lost.
IR didn't happen.
What are you trying to prove?
We know you don't like the ending, so what?
Are you contributing anything of substance here, or are you just whining about how your ship would have been so much better?
I felt the Urahara scene was bait since Rukia did nothing in the final fight, she didn't even acknowledge him before it-she ran straight to Orihime.
As for the comment, I thought he mentioned them only was because it's Rukia's wedding and Ichigo basically asked Orihime out where it's pretty much a given that hes going to confess his feelings. We don't get any insight on how Orihime feelings, or even Renji's.
>karin and yuzu thinking orihime acts like a mother and are happy to have her around the house
>That would have killed IchigoxRukia dead years ago.
Is autism contagious? Is this the case with IRfags? They're spreading it all around in their little echo chambers. Ichigo and Rukia did not interact in the manga for YEARS. Almost 4 years between them having scenes together. Ichigo does not even think about her after the Fullbring arc. It was so dead and over. You're just too stupid to see reality.
I don't even ship IR. If it were up to me, the canon ones would be Renji/Rukia (with a more explained transition from friends to lovers) and Uryuu/Orihime.
I'm just pointing out that part of the backlash from IRfags is due to Kubo not killing IR properly.
Not gonna lie. This is some cute shit.
>Ichigo and Rukia did not interact in the manga for YEARS.
If you're talking about the war then it was a few days at most that those two didn't interact. In real life, it was about 4 years though, maybe even a bit more.
Anyways, IR was killed back during the SS arc when Ichigo threw Rukia to Renji.
I find that nips are way more critical on the internet than anyone else. Like if you go to a japanese youtube channel or video and see the amount of dislikes a video gets, even the most benign shit is way more than a western one would get.
>I don't even ship IR.
You don't want IH, but you want UH. It is 100% unrequited, has less development than IH and even Uryuu acts like he has no shot and Orihime being with Ichigo is a foregone conclusion.
Renji's feeling about Rukia has been talked about by Kubo in a few interview/event though. I recall at least once with Ichigo's VA and once with Renji's. For Orihime, the only one I remember is not by Kubo but his editor.
It might have been a byproduct of Orihime's VA not at the same level of popularity as Ichigo, Renji and Rukia's. So even the seiyuu of Hisagi gets invited to off-air stuff more than her.
>Renji's feeling about Rukia has been talked about by Kubo in a few interview/event though.
I know, but I meant how his feelings weren't talked about in the novel. Not that they needed to be since I feel the manga made it pretty obvious how he feels towards Rukia. Instead this time, we got a scene where it's revealed that Rukia didn't take his last name in the Gotei 13 because she felt she would faint from being called Mrs. Abarai from being so flustered and overwhelmed.
The same with Orihime's feelings not getting any focus in the novel-we already know how she's feels so now it was Ichigo's turn.
The ending was a complete train wreck. There wasn't even a final battle in a normal sense. I mean Ichigo didn't even use his ugly new bankai and Bach didn't have a final form or any battle form for that matter. The whole plotline about Ichigo power up led to fucking nowhere because he didn't use it in the end. There was a bullshit arrow that Kubo pulled right out of his ass to help Ichigo kill Bach and that's it. Also it was beyond retarded because Bach had an opportunity to kill Ichigo before but didn't finish him off for no fucking reason and even left an open portal also for no fucking reason. I just... That was the most retarded and shameless plot convenience I've ever seen.
Tatsuki was all in for Orihime and Ichigo though
>Bach had an opportunity to kill Ichigo before but didn't finish him off for no fucking reason
He thought that vision of Ichigo killing him was a dream or something like that.
Ah but as you said yourself, Uryuu knew he has no shot. That's killing it properly.
I really didn't ship IR. This kind of thinking ("you don't agree with me, you must be one of THEM!") is stupid and comes from both sides, making the ship war even worse when it happened, and driving the potentially crazy ones into madness.
When it comes to discussion about what's in and not in the novel, I think we should wait until everything's translated. No one mentioned Hitsugaya or Ganju before but now we know they appear.
Someone already read the novel and made a list of all the Renruki content. There's no focus on Renji's feelings. We do get a nervous/flustered Rukia a few times though which was cute.
I think this should have been the biggest red flag in retrospect. So many people in the series tried to push Ichigo and Orihime together: Tatsuki, Yoruichi, Rangiku, even Chad. Nobody was doing the same for Ichigo and Rukia or Uryuu and Orihime or any other pairing. Did people really think all that would be for nothing?
>Ah but as you said yourself, Uryuu knew he has no shot. That's killing it properly.
They had no shot, but, you still think they should happen? You make no sense, anon.
You don't ship IR, but won't shut up about them. There's no reason to "kill" them, they were never a thing. Kill what? Their friendship and platonic relationship that never moved beyond that? Their feelings were never romantic. Using your same assbackwards logic, then Kubo never killed IH or Ichigo/Nel or Ichigo/Riruka or Ichigo/Grimmjow, etc.
There's a part about Renji getting nervous during the lunch with Byakuya. But we don't know how it's elaborated. As comparison, in chapter 1 we get Kira's feelings on being zombie elaborated, in chapter 2 there's Lisa's pride in seeing how far Little Nanao has come. Those aren't mentioned by bloggers either.
>Rukia didn't take Renji's last name in the Gotei because she felt she would faint from being called "Mrs. Abarai"
>Rukia was trembling during the vows
>Rukia was all flustered announcing their marriage ceremony and couldn't even look at the shinigami around the table
>Rukia was stumbling over words when announcing the engagement to Orihime
When Rukia goes dere, she goes full on dere.
This is good advice. Could have saved them both 5 years of pining and thinking they were in an unrequited love.
Tatsuki was always a gem. I love that chapter about her and Ichigo's friendship as kids. Wish there was more of her in Bleach.
There has always been a difference between thinking something will happen and wanting something to happen. Wanting something to happen does not need an objective reason.
If you keep refusing to understand why IR has a significant following beyond "they're just stupid and crazy" I'm afraid this will go nowhere. It's always easier to think of different people as subhuman rather than try to understand each other.
Serious question, but why doesn't Rukia have a good figure? Back when Bleach was super popular, it would've sold like crazy. Even now, I think it would sell quite well. Especially if some big company were to do it.
>Tatsuki was always a gem. I love that chapter about her and Ichigo's friendship as kids
Not only did she became more and more irrelevant as the manga progressed, she knew it too.
I will never forgive Kubo for making Ichigo and Tatsuki fight onscreen, but the resolution is offscreen.
Then again, Kubo is particularly bad at that. A most blatant example is in chapter 180 when Renji and Byakuya was about to have a serious talk, it's interrupted with comedic timing by Ichigo.
>i don't know a single game from japan with mechs that runs or looks as good as titanfall
>That's why their 3rd highest scored graduate can't even get financial assistance to pursue higher education.
Don't remind me.
>That's why their 3rd highest scored graduate can't even get financial assistance to pursue higher education.
That's totally normal in Japan. Japan is shit. Don't forget this girl was living by herself since she was 10 or so.
So only Uryuu had a change to get a schoolarship, and even then, his dad has enough money to pay for it anyway, i kinda respect Ichigo for having a family and finish college at the same time
>i kinda respect Ichigo for having a family and finish college at the same time
Ichika is seven at most and Kazui looks younger than her so they probably had him when Ichigo was almost finished.
Technicallly her guardian is the aunt that have her money. It's never really explained why she's not living with them (aside from the external reason being families are a burden to write for teenage fictional characters).
Her aunt is related to one of her awful parents so she could be awful herself. She literally cuts Orihime off once she graduates HS which is a pretty shitty thing to do. Plus it was never stated that Orihime would visit her or vice-versa in the manga or even in the novels. She probably supported her out of duty, not love.
Only if it's with Kukaku.
-"X called for help"
-"X called for help"
-"X called for help"
-Too many cut-scenes.
-It's different so it sucks.
Moon has 3.5 stars, by the way. And only 100 less reviews. Odd. Maybe Moon truly is better.
Yea that's the likely explanation, it's just not explicit. Anyway they can fool the social services by pretending they visit her/she visits them when checked by the government, if Japan has such a system. I don't know if there's even a system.
>Reminder that in Japan it's totally normal for 6 year olds to walk to school while navigating complicated train routes.
I do find this odd, but it's the norm over there. I wouldn't let my child do it though, I'm too much of a worrywart.
As far as I remember Ichigo had no romantic feelings for Rukia, no? They were tight but they were purely just friends.
Is everyone seeing romance where they're not supposed to? Just because a boy and a girl are close doesnt mean they have to be married?
15 is pretty bad desu.
I mean it's so easy to level up that I overshot 99 by over 3 MILLION experience when saving up.
Quick time events are core combat and very small reaction windows.
The AI is either full retarded or wants your dick right now, with everything it can spawn at that location.
The loading times and 'soft loading times'-where characters are locked in animations like getting out of the car are inexcusable (way worse than 12's constant sheathing/unsheating of weapons)
The last several chapters are LITERALLY on rails. As in your ride a train and get off for minimal amounts of time.
They planned from the beginning to release something like 7 or 9 PAID DLCs to 'fix' the story plot holes.
>Westerners eat it up anyways
It explains why Ichigo and Orihime's so calm about Kazui walking around town alone even though he's probably 5 year old (they at least waited until Ichigo finished college didn't they?).
>I don't remember him literally going into berserk mode with her sole safety on his mind.
He did against Byakuya. He was about to die and desperate to keep fighting to save Rukia and his Hollow came out. So yeah, practically the same thing happened.
If Kubo ever gets another manga a lot of fags will complain about the most minimal detail , will say that Bleach was better, and yet the threads will reach bump limit one after another, i can see it already
Kazui's also a quick little bugger who's already unlocked one of his superhuman aspects, so there's that.
I was re-reading Bleach and I found both situations different, but I understand what you're saying. To me, the Lust chapters felt a lot darker and Ichigo just seems a lot more desperate when rescuing Orihime-the tiniest things done to her seem to set him completely off.
Ichigo's hollow was irrational and bloodthirsty. His one and only rational thought was keeping Orihime safe.
That means, the only shred of humanity Ichigo has ever shown in hollow form was towards Orihime. HM was lowkey (maybe not even that) Kubo doing IH.
How silly of me I forgot:
You can't take more than 1 hunt quest at a time so you'll trek back and forth to the same area multiple times like a bad MMO.
Day/Night cycle is always more a hindrance than anything
Characters stopping the car to complain about it being night time/they're tired
There's no reason to use any NPC skills except Prompto's starting one and Ignis' Elemental enhancement one.
I think level 1 mobs have higher base HP than level 99 Prompto
Spells have awesome GFX but without an item to prevent FRIENDLY FIRE you'll annihilate your own party if you ever use them. Even with said item you'll still apply burn/frost/shock debuffs to your own party.
Max HP makes potions almost useless, you'll have to use elixirs anyways.
>I think it's clear he has no love left for Bleach.
I wouldn't go that far since he drew some nice sketches for the first novel and he'll most likely draw sketches for the second novel plus he's drawing a one-shot for the live action film.
He does seem like he wants to hang low now. I don't see him drawing for a long time.
He rejected drawing the novel before he read it and loved it, so he isn't obligated to draw.
He just doesn't want to draw Ichigo and the humans anymore, their story is done maybe he'll make a sequel but with no set mc just the captains and the kids.
He's not going to draw anything for awhile. I think he's burnt out and wants to chill.
That's 15 years of producing a chapter every week. I couldn't do that, honestly. Constantly coming up with new material and plot twists for years and years. Especially for someone like Kubo who seems to have way too many ideas and struggles with executing them.
Think of it as chefs, do you think that when they get home they feel like cooking? Drawing for fun is one thing, but when you spend 15 years at it, you need a rest to get in the vibe again
>He rejected drawing the novel before he read it and loved it
It's not said like that in the postscript summary, just that Matsubara successfully persuaded him.
And anyway people can say anything, but it's still something he gets paid for.
most of the beginning was outright nice outlining, but around the exact moment they said "we'll come back to finish the job", and then came back to finish the job not 3-5 chapters later I believe...that's when things went downhill.
I still like some of the fights, but it was utter shit otherwise
But they didn't do such. They had plenty of time to rest from that moment.
>Half the volume 58 about Zero Squad
>Half of 59 about Zero Squad while other half is about Unohana vs Kenpachi
>Volume 60 is Everything But the Rain flashback
>61 ends the Zangetsu plot twist and gets to the fighting again.
That's like 25-30 chapters of break. Not 3-5 chapters.
Ichigo cause I read this translation of him saying that Ichigo was his hope and anytime he feels down, he draws him for inspiration. Ichigo is so perfect in every way possible. Kubo adores him.
Kenpachi. There's not other reason why this character got as much hype and airtime.
Orihime is his favorite girl, hands down. Like Ichigo, she comes off as some beacon of light and perfect waifu.
I used to think Urahara, but not anymore. Kubo would have dedicated something to his send off, but he didn't seem to care after a certain point.
Shipping butthurt is always so amusing
>in the novel postscript he mentions Ichigo and Rukia.
Yea because it's Rukias wedding and Ichigo asks Orihime out in the end where it's basically confirmed to us reader that hes going to confess.
It's Orihime. I think he really likes Rukia as well though.
But, if you strictly look at the content and not merch or fanservicy things, Orihime got more focus throughout the entirety of Bleach than Rukia did.
I think part of Orihime's exposure comes from Kubo really wanting to push that Tanabata motif. I don't know how much of it was from that and how much of it was from his own preference.
Hold your horses IHfag. The context is which characters Kubo likes. And that one is the latest Kubo quote on characters he like.
The Yoruichi one came from here: http://manga.about.com/od/mangaartistinterviews/a/TiteKubo_2.htm
>Orihime got more focus, give me the numbers.
Just go through the manga anon. She had a good amount of panel time in the beginning, but then it increased more and more. In the final arc, she's one of the characters that gets the most paneltime.
Well, here's Kubo stating Inoue as one of his favorites back in 2011. He had to pick between Rukia, Inoue, Rangiku, Lisa, or Hiyoru
Shit opinion but I'll post it anyway.
Aizen should've had more impact on the story.
Admittedly the entire series shows every arc where the main character has some unique quality while not yet reaching his true potential and doing a bunch of new shit that no one else but him is "capable" of only to fuck it up, then unfuck it, then fuck it up again because the new bad guy is "amazingly powerful". Nobody likes this because all it does is highlight one guy being given every chance to be the hero; at the same time everyone knows Ichigo ain't shit and all the guys that kicked his ass only lose to even more bullshit or cool shit depending on what's being thrown at us.
This is where Aizen comes in because Aizen was too intelligent and too conniving to get put down and ignored. In fact the last time we hear from him before the quincy mess was him talking about the soul king, but that story arc was never expanded obtain nor was it really resolved. The story could've been 80% about Aizen trying to prove why the soul king isn't necessary and helping the soul society stop quincies from ever being a real threat; and this would've been many times better because we actually see someone who's actually good at fighting opponents actually fight, and give us a reason why to fight beyond "muh friends".
This isn't even getting into "Incarnation of the 4th Reich" because I thought his power was beyond stupid for the series and he went out like a bitch,
I go through the manga every so often and I do think she gets a lot of focus. She got a good amount of focus in the beginning, during the SS arc, during the HM arc, she gets a good amount during the FB arc, and even in the last arc where she's the only one by Ichigo's side during the second to last battle.
If anyone is curious, Kubo states Yoruichi and Rangiku as his two favorite females in 2008 and then Rangiku and Orihime in 2011. Those are the only times he talks about his favorite female characters.
Aizen should have had a bigger impact in the story? Agreed
Giving him more panel time?
This is thin ice, because with the amount of time we got he was still a mystery and every time he appeared he stole the show, if Kubo revealed a lot more about Aizen he would lose part of his charm, and if with such small panel time he overshadowed most characters, a lot more would make them look more bland, if you get what i mean, but yeah, Aizen's plot should have been handled a little better, Ichigo, Urahara, Juha and him are the most important characters plot wise, and even Ichigo falls behind the others, so it would have improved the story a lot
Just like Aizen, from the start up to FB he had a important role in the story, even if he wasn't on screen, and it was just in the last arc we had Urahara more often on screen, just at the same time he was losing importante
yeah you right. I just don't like how characters that actually contribute to the show, who move and talk with with a certain purpose don't get developed. It's kind of similar to Ichigo's inner hollow where it tried to teach how how to fight but Ichigo wouldn't have it. His inner hollow was very entertaining but then if it was brought out more it wouldn't have been as grand
agreed. Orihime was forced. and kubo even used the true best girl to help force it, It was like a slap in the face.
>Orihime was forced. and kubo even used the true best girl to help force it, It was like a slap in the face.
Yoruichi loves Orihime. She even offered to turn into cat if that would bring her comfort/ease. Plus she carried her Princess style.
I still think Orihime is descended from succubi, given her appearance and her effortless charm.
To be fair, she really is very cute.
>"Take charge while I'm gone, Toshiro!"
Those weren't his last words.
While nice they finally bring it up,but I've always preferred Isshin's last words as captain, however innocuous, be for his Vice-captain as opposed to the third seat.
Renji married a beautiful and kind woman.
Byakuya married a beautiful woman, we don't know how kind she was but when alive, her actions were abandoning a baby, abandoning her husband to look for that baby, and imposing on her husband to take care of the baby she failed to find.
idk whats going on, but it looks cute
Translation of part 5 is out.
>that bit about Ukitake and his children's book
>westerners are lemmings
>Japan's biggest video game market is reskinned gatcha games.
Both markets are full of retards. Nips like stupid vapid shit that you can play on the train. Westerners like stupid vapid shit you can play on a flat screen at home.
It's the backlash of marketing, you barely see any negative votes in EU/NA because only people interested in product go there to rate it. Not like those scores mean much, the number of sales is also higher in JP.
>one of yamas 2 transcendent pupils
LOL never show him truly fight and what bankai? lol have more toshitro fights lololol
this is why you got cancelled Kubo
Before this I didn't realize how much I like him ;_;
he doesn't know how to write and he started not caring about his drawings mid way through the manga.
in my opinion bleach would be awesome if Kubo drawn it and gave concepts but somebody else wrote it.
Would Bleach have been better if Ryogo Narita was brought in to compose the Quincy arc?
Would Kubo agree to it?
Take note of the gender of people in question. Kyoraku always had more interest in women, he openly admited to male members of his division he doesn't care about them, and if it weren't for Nanao he'd find a way to fulfill his dream of being the captain of an all-girls division.
>This was not his planned ending and he'll never tell anyone the truth
Am I the only one who feels that story about the sick boy who told kubo to "End Bleach how you want to" was just some bullshit lie so he could justify this garbage ending? And he knows his fans are gullible enough to accept a sob story.
Kubo never seemed like a traditional manga artist, compared to authors like Kishi or oda who seemed really into their work. Kubo always felt -distant- from his work.
The guy seems like a rockstar more than artist, who just fell into this profession cause he could draw well.
I don't think he ever cared about Bleach as more than a paycheck.
this, I mean look at the guy. I know the Smug-Kubo thing is a meme but he really seems like a rockstar musician and not a comic artist.
He even dresses better than most Mangaka I know, he's probably just a rich partybro.
Unclear. Only said Kensei sent her to the academy but not if she survived. Probably does, though. In any cass since novel 2 is about someone in her division it's likely she would appear.
They were still recovering from Ichigo and his friends invasion, in fighting between some and of course the mess Aizen did(such as killing of central 46).
Then of course, there was training and strengthening, as apparently, Vasto Lorde are "stronger" than a captain...
>Everyone else was trash.
Mask De Masculine
Nnoitra is definitely top tier. He was the most interesting character out of the Espada. Grimmjow is just one-dimensional edgy fujobait. Agree on Ukulele though. He's meh, but at least Kubo tried to give him some depth.
That shit taste tho'
How's Nnoitra even remotely interesting? He was a fucking loser who couldn't cope with the fact that a womyn was stronger than him - and to beat her he needed Szayel's trickery anyway.
Best part? The Espada n.3 was still a woman, and in his fight with Kenpachi he kept on sperging on how he was the strokest - and yet literally everyone was stronger than him. A pitiful character, no wonder Nelliel saw him as a sperging mindless insect.
>missed the whole point
Nnoitra's whole reason for all his actions was to be hated and killed. His death aspect was "despair", in that he knew that victory was slim and that it wouldn't really change anything if they won.
And if wasn't really clear, he only had beef with Nel, which may or may not have been sexual tension. This happened after she saved him when he nearly died during one of their hollow hunting. It's also worth noting that Nel said something like "I just saved you cause aizen needs as much soldiers" or "I just did it on a whim", which basically made him think that Nel was making fun of him.
Yeah I remember that, basically, Nnoitra was pretty much on a suicidal mission whenever he was ordered to look for strong Arrancars but Nel kept tagging along and likely prevented his death several times. He also kept on asking why does she keep sticking around him and she kept saying it was for their role to keep each other safe for the eventual war, which of course goes against what Nnoitra wanted. Then presumably later on, after Nel was out, Nnoitra just got strong enough that none of the hollows were a problem and he got promoted to 5.
A lot of this could have been prevented if Nel just straight out said that she was concerned for him personally rather than obligation.
Thinking about it, I guess that's why he got the "strongest" hierro of the espada. From all the fights he got into without much concern for his health, his body ended up adapting and ironically made him one of the hardest to kill.
Being a cheating loser is interesting? Ok.
There are plenty of characters in Bleach that did "detestable" things, and yet hey had their charm and usefulness. Think of Gin, Mayuri, Szayel.
Nnoitra just comes out as a retard that babbles about, edgy rethoric about muh fight, muh masculinity and muh stronger than everyone else.
They only cool thing about him was Santa Teresa's design, that was honestly nice. The spoon dress and the retarded unreleased zanpakutou were ridiculous though.
Because he said so? Like he said he was the strongest? :^)
>inb4 muh databook
I really hope you're not taking those things seriously. They're compiled by editors, not Kubo.
For example, take a look at the stats graphs of the Gotei 13 on the 1st one, and you'll see what I mean.
>For example, take a look at the stats graphs of the Gotei 13 on the 1st one, and you'll see what I mean.
That one is actually surprisingly accurate, even having Unohana's Kenpachi-tier combat prowess. Zaraki is really the only misnomer, because he hadn't reached his true potential yet.
Unless you're willing to present evidence that another Espada having superior Hierro than Nnoitra (which there isn't) then it's not worth challenging.
>Gin on the same level as Hitsugaya
>Aizen on a "normal" scale even though he could solo the entire Gotei
Besides, what is it exactly that makes you so sure that Nnoitra's is the best hierro? Because a completely spent Ichigo couldn't hurt him? Because an un-serious, eyepatch sealed Kenpachi slashed and didn't damage?
He had a strong one, sure, but by virtue of Ulquiorra having the Segunda Etapa, I'd wager HE has the strongest. Mind you, I despise Ulq, so it's not fanboysm believe me.
Just take into account what Aizen said: a fight between spiritual beings is a fight of reiatsu.
SE Ulquiorra had such a potent and thick reiatsu that captain-level fighters felt as if they were overwhelmed by it; nothing much happened when Nnoitra released on the other hand, and weaker people such as Orihime barely reacted to it.
>Gin on the same level as Hitsugaya
In terms of potential, they were about equal. Gin's power is very specialized whereas Hitsugaya is one incredibly useful elemental power. I don't see the problem.
>Aizen on a "normal" scale even though he could solo the entire Gotei
If I remember correctly he was on the same tier as Yamamoto in terms of power, and that was before the Hougyoku elevated his powerlevel.
>by virtue of Ulquiorra having the Segunda Etapa, I'd wager HE has the strongest
Unlikely, Ulquiorra didn't specialize in defense because his HSR was his most powerful attribute. However if you wish to reference some feats that we may place Ulq's Hierro to Nnoitra's, I'll accept your argument.
Meanwhile, in America.
This. The only people who liked that ending were shippers, because the only thing they care about is their pairing. If you cared about literally anything else, you had to be disappointed with that shitstain of an ending.
I agree that a lot went wrong, but the pairings weren't one of them.
The previous anon stated that only shippers liked the ending, but I liked the pairings yet saw all the flaws. I just don't get why people are acting like Bleach went downhill recently, it's been going downhill for years.
There's no mystery there anon: you're not a shipper, you're someone who just likes a pairing. Simply liking a pairing doesn't make you a shipper. A shipper is someone who only cares about their
