Since there's a new YGO movie releasing next month here in the west, I thought it would be cool to dump the original manga which the movie is based off of. For those of you who only ever watched the anime, I highly recommend reading the manga as it's much darker and better written than the anime was imo. There's also none of the fillers you have to deal with. Since the movie is releasing on Jan 27, 2017, I will dump one volume a day leading up to its release.
Today we will finish Duelist Kingdom. The final match is at hand!

Both ways have their merits. Joey forfeiting to let Yugi go directly to face Pegasus is the logical smart thing to do. Joey can't beat Pegasus, can't beat Yugi, and skipping the duel is fewer chances for Pegasus to see Yugi's strategies, improving his chances. On the other hand, them dueling is more entertaining, and is more true to the whole duelist's pride thing.

Well in Takahashi's defense I think he played it quite well. By making Yami a more "good" character he gives him the chance to develop but he also stays true to his pride by making him refuse to be corrupted by some evil intelligence in the items.

That's just hazards of good scanlations groups dropping a series when it gets licensed, then the licensed release taking forever to release. Parts that neither anime, nor official release would reach for a while get scanlated, and eventually someone who doesn't want to destroy their volumes by debinding them scans the official version to fill in the holes.
It's also partly the times. Back then good quality raws were harder to find if you were unwilling or unable to buy the Japanse version yourself. You were left working with whatever shit quality scans you could find, and translating from chinese or other foreign language scanlations.

He continues to bet his life as the series goes on. Murder happens a lot more too. The manga is still much darker than the anime. It's not a mandate, it's the story. Atem is becoming influenced by Yugi's kind demeanor, and Yugi is becoming more confident because of Atem's no nonsense approach.
