I'm not too sure why people are making a fuss about the prospect of Araragi marrying Hitagi. He's been saying that he was going to do this for a while now, and it doesn't really change much about his life approach either. Shinobu will still be his soulmate, he'll still be playing with Hachikuji (literally the only reason Hachikuji agrees to becoming the Shrine Goddess even), both him & Gahara will still fap to Hanekawa, Kanbaru will still unintentionally make other girls jealous with her friendship to him, and so on.
