So we can all agree she is a Mary Sue, right?
No, that's a zombie and an assistant.
Is "Dr. Pepper" supposed to be a parody of the real-life beverage Doc Tear Popper?
is stratfor supposed to be parody of real-life stratfor?
Is "CERN" supposed to be a parody of the real-life research institution SERN?
is @chan or N-chan supposed to be parody of the real-life website 4chan?
if she's a Mary Sue why did she die
Yo. How do I make the game work? I've downloaded it from that "erogames" site you linked me in the last thread.
I get an error everytime I try to install it.
Kurisu > Maho > Amadeus Kurisu > Alpha Suzuha > Mayuri > Beta Suzuha > Yuki > Luka > Faris > Fubuki = Kaede > Kagari >>>>>> Moeka
People now ironically hate Steins;Gate and Kurisu now, oh wow. Let me be honest with you: I know a lot about Steins;Gate, and I can guarantee you everybody loved S;G. Everybody. Steins;Gate was so loved by everybody they can't stop talking about it. I know a lot of people, the best people by the way, who played the VN and watched the anime, and beyond the slow start they all loved it. Period. I mean, what's not to like? Kurisu, who is perfect by the way everybody loves her, Faris too my personal favorite, and other characters who are likable and funny.
You might even say S;G is the greatest time traveling anime of all time and Kurisutina the GREATEST TSUNDERE TO EVER EXIST and it's not just me saying this - everybody, everybody who loves anime loves this.
Maho>Alpha Suzuha>Kurisu>Beta Suzuha>Mayuri>Faris>Moeka
Other girls are too irrelevant to rank. I cannot wait for the 0 adaptation for the change of a Maho figure.
Copypasta aside, Kurisu was a fucking dormant feminazi because of her dad. Notice how well she treated everyone that was a chick? The difference in attitude was very notable, even if it was because the other 2 were mild perverts.
>literally got groped by Okabe as soon as she met him in Alpha
>Daru always cracking lewd jokes around / to / about her
>constantly teased by the pair of them
Plus there's just the fact that she hasn't been close to many if any guys before. Of course she's going to sperg out.
I think she would be sort of used to it being kind of close to this fuck.
Leskinen's teasing is a lot less condescending. All he does is lightly prod Maho & Kurisu sometimes and he backs off pretty quickly. Okabe never really lets up unless he's really upset her.
She probably just isn't used to being friendly with guys and expects the worst from them. Daru and Okabe don't exactly help the situation. She's also trying to reconcile the fact that she's crushing on Okabe with the fact that he's a chuuni that keeps making an ass of himself.
I dunno, I think she's just showing things typical of a tsundere. She would be a bitch at times but she couldn't take the banter. Ever.
That's my copypasta, I'm happy other people use it now.
Is there a character that has suffered as much as Okabe?
Probably, but Okabe is right on the edge of what I'd consider reasonable suffering. You go beyond him and you're in the realm of meaningless things that a writer is just throwing out there to sound cool or edgy.
>he doesn't know
It's alright. Okabe has suffered nothing compared to others.
I am ready.
Fuck Chiyomaru and his retarded decisions.
I want my fucking seals as they are supposed to be, god fucking damnit.
Then you have missed out on a lot.
>Should I watch C;H
The answer to this is alway:
DO NOT WATCH CHAOS;HEAD.
Read the VN or skip it entirely.
There is no translation patch for C;C but there will be an official English release soon.
We all suffer and anguish from someone's death. Someone we love. But the problem with Okabe is that time travel shit made a simple "moving on from someone", into a complex, compounded problem that never goes away because the idea of time travel will never go away.
It was listed on some spanish site but got delisted quicly.
PQube and Steiner "confrimed" it, too.
Look into the archive if you want the details. We were all upset because they won't publish C;H Noah yet they are willing to put out S;G 0 and C;C so quickly. It seems Noah and R;N Elite are never going to see an official release.
He also watched Mayuri die dozens upon dozens of times, has to live with knowing what he's done or perhaps more to the point undone and has Kurisu's blood on his hands twice over, once literally. Zero Okabe also has to live with the fact that since the world ends up in WW3, it was all basically for nothing.
Yeah, I agree with that. He's seen some shit, and he keeps trying to change it so he relives that shit again and again.
I want to play Zero now. Is there a true route in that game? What's your opinion? Do you think it's good?
There is a true route in the game and I think Zero is really great. It's not as good as the original S;G but it's still pretty good.
Even in-game Suzuha is more stacked, I don't know what he was talking about.
It's pretty good, though not as good as the original. The true end leaves you with a massive set of blueballs, too.
In terms of canon numbers they're basically identical, there's a full centimeter in it. The anime also nerfs Kurisu's chest. Kurisu's chest in the VN art is smaller though.
If you want slight spoilers that are the bare basis of the VN.
You do not reunite with a physical Kurisu but Kurisu's memories as an AI, which is the focal point of the VN. The Okabe you play as is the one in the Operation Skuld video so you can guess how happy his ending was if he had to make the video
Yeah well, I didn't want to bring that up yet.
she just fucking kills herself with a D-Mail
>/a/ says the game is great and the ending gives them "blue balls"
>/v/ says the game's ending is shit, and the game in general was only salvaged by Maho and/or Daru and Suzuha
And she was doing it because she couldn't stand Mayuri being sacrificed for her, seeing Okabe in such a fucked up state or that he was avoiding her as a result. And of course, she tells him to forget about her. For his sake, not her own. She goes back on her one vaguely selfish want out of her initial sacrifice for Okabe's sake.
She send it without hesitation because the Alpha Worldline is just as bad as the Beta one
The ending wasn't really blue balls, it's just not as 'holy shit' as S;G true ending was. You already know what Okabe does in the true ending so it's the travel there that matters.
To clarify on the blue balls, the original S;G ending gave you a whole extra chapter on top of the Kurisu end. This gives you a relatively short extension to one of the paths.
It is worth a read if you go in with slightly lower expectations, just don't expect a fully fulfilling ending. The original true end is basically the real ending of 0 but it gives a short extension in the true end of 0 which leaves you hanging.
>tfw Messenger plays here
I felt pretty triggered, in a positive light.
If you are talking about 0 like you was earlier then I am not sure how they are going to do the route split for the anime, as it isn't a linear path to the true route like the original. So they could still fuck it up even if it is White Fox.
When I start up SG0 (either patched or unpatched), when I'm at the main menu it keeps uncontrollably scrolling. If I plug out the mouse, it stops for a while, then continues (same happens when I plug it in), anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
Not possible without losing a lot of context since you need the other route to trigger the true route. And you can't really take similar elements and try and mash things together either since the split is significantly different.
>mess with the pad settings in the launcher
How do I do so? The only thing I can change is which default configuration it takes.
Did you install that in the past? As a quick google seems to indicate that it is a virtual joypad driver. Try and disable it as it seems to be making it seem like you have a gamepad plugged in.
your patch is not the latest and this is what you should get if there's no gamepad connected
>bugged as hell
chapter 7 saving/loading
2-3 instances with bugged character sprites somewhere in 8-10 chapters
few instances of text going outside boarders in 8-10 chapters
i give you that last 3 chapters had sketchy translation though.
>don't understand the whole plot without those "waifu routes".
what exactly do they add to the plot?
Depending on the version of your patch either the O-Front scene is skipped (and you can't save in chapter 6) or a delusion with Kozue is skipped after you get saved by her by the DQNs (and you can't save in chapter 7).
>what exactly do they add to the plot?
Background details which help you piece together all information and the truth about everything.
Also Noah doesn't simply add "waifu routes" but also inserts certain scenes on second playthrough.
You get to see Shogun sending the chat of the beginning.
There are many scenes more that unravel the mystery.
After having "browsed" (I use this term as I can't really read Kanji) through Noah, I have come to see that the original PC-Version is just an incomplete demo.
I just read through the AA ending of Chaos;Head. And, wow, that was quite a ride.
Dunno, maybe it was too skewed to MC's paranoia throughout, even at the point where it didn't make much sense to keep doing it, but the suffering was top-tier, so I enjoyed it anyway.
I felt that delusion battles were ill-defined, though. Never really got the idea of what limits do gigalomaniacs have, if they have any. Hell, even the one "can't heal" rule is broken at the end of AA route, and I'm not even sure it was unique to Takumi.
Now, I never remember seeing these seals I saw in the threads, and I looked through every freaking delusion in the game. Should I go for the B ending? I don't really want to see everybody suffer, but if it contains crucial information, it's another thing.
Also, I guess I could also read through whatever is translated of Noah on Android. Which is, not much, as I heard. At least the true ending probably is in Japanese.
Only Takumi can do it, because he isn't the one having delusions, his original is the one doing the deluding. Takumi is the mightiest Gigalomaniac that ever was.
>Or is it like, they designed it one way in VN, and then redesigned it for anime and promo art?
Also, read the B ending, it has the solution to the New Gene murders.
I'm not really interested in the solutions, honestly. It was probably all delusions shit.
Unless it's just really fun to read.
Also, does it mean that by the time original Takumi does, the regeneration he did becomes impossible again? And the whole thing was just him borrowing the help of original Takumi? I didn't get it. I thought original Takumi was just the cheerleader that raised his spirits, or something, there.
Oh the solution is quite an interesting read, you should do it.
Your belly might just become a little bit
Itchy. Itchy. Itchy. Itchy.
>does that mean by the time original Takumi dies, the regeneration he did becomes impossible again?
After the original dies, Takumi becomes a normal person without powers whatsoever.
Original Takumi died in that hospital smiling at Nanami.
MC Takumi gained all of the originals memories and used his last powers to project the Blue Sky into reality.
He got trapped into his own imagined world, see Love Chuchu for details. Yes, it is a canon sequel.
That's also your source for the whole "he lost his powers" thing. But it will never be translated so you have to believe me there.
Any other questions?
Is "Pizza Hut" supposed to be a parody of the real life
space-gangster Pizza the Hut?
>Any other questions?
yes, why did she have so little screen time?
She's there to flesh out the "murder mystery" aspect of the VN but nothing else. The story shifts to Takumi getting his Di-Sword because they probably changed their minds about whether or not it would have reliance on fiction or non fictional elements.
She's a dumb bitch anyway so it's better this way.
0 doesn't help much either, since the game was very heavily flawed in what it wanted to show - basically going everywhere, and it the end, nowhere. Would have preferred a direct continuation in S;G worldline with similar things happening, but better explained.
Put the locale to america, jap locale didn't work also i used torrent instead if you look down in the comments, you will find the most updated translation with simple instructions.
Surprisingly, /v/ is right. Maho was underused and misused, Daru was very well used aside from that one punch which was out of character, Beta Suzuha was garbage compared to Alpha. Kagari was an unredeemable piece of human waste. With tits.
