There is a sort of fence-sitting behavior where people avoid talking directly about the anime, movies, any manga etc but not quite directly about the game, yet can often indirectly talk about the game too. You may wonder, what is there left to really talk about on /a/ if you are forced to adhere to the anime/movie/various manga? Not much. That's the fucking point. You've instead been here on /a/ 24/7 for years, having busted down the door ever since the anime aired, but then never talking about the anime since? In fact you don't want to talk about the anime, because it sucked. So what the fuck else do you think is going on in these threads then? Quit playing dumb and acting persecuted when the vast majority of these threads are not that relevant to the board.

Every other thread type people compare themselves to in these threads have got far more stable reasons to be on /a/. Jojo, precure etc. Those may not have the best quality but at least are more often than not topical and board relevant in scope. Kancolle threads, quite often, have fucking neither of these things, putting them in the same basket as Monmusu which also got smacked around thoroughly. Not being highly /a/-relevant is why DJT got the boot outright.

The amount of justification in these threads is amazing. Everyone is inventing all sorts of new facts as to why the threads are getting deleted: new janitors, targeted moderation, abuse of powers, you name it.

Maybe the simplest answer is the correct one: non-/a/ content as games, role playing and shitposting does not belong.
