Well, it was a fun volume. It started as a romcom, tunred into a revenge flick, then into the deconstruction and reconstruction of what is a hero, a gathering of heroes, all capped off by a loli Touma that broke a AIM Ghost's illusion, and finally ended with a midnight snack from the other loli. Thats why I believe that his other works benefit more from some of the the ideas he tries to execute in Index. He can refined it more so that execution seem very natural within in the story without the short-comings you see in Index.

The problem is will readers keep being interested in the series with all these new ideas Kamachi tests out in Index. The volumes for Index are already shown declining rapidly over the years which I feel is not only showing a franchise slowly decline over time, but that readers are probably just not feeling all the tests Kamachi does with the series. You're either getting MITM'd or somebody hasn't configured one of their servers correctly.

Common name invalid means they either generated their CA certs incorrectly of they're using a cert that doesn't match the FQDN for the site it's being used on. That's not uncommon if someone moves something from dev to prod and forgets to switch the certs.
