Most fo the material released in tora comes and goes in multiple waves, if you must have a certain item then preordering a week before the event is what you want, then you wait till at least mid January so the circles who could get their works advertised or mass printed get their shit together (and those are the majority, since most circles barely get their first batch of copies for the event itself), then you can place a second order for the stuff that was late.

Only worry about merchandise such as dakis, limited bundled items and the like, not the printed books which are plain easy to get even months later.

I have both and Maki is definitely more detailed, two different textured layers on the skirt, with different details on each. Then you mix the rest of the textures of her top and boots and is more complex than Nozomi. The amount of creases on the skirt does not make a figure more complex either
