That's traditional hand drawn animation as opposed to digital hand drawn animation. It's just the terminology generally used. By "entirely digital" I was alluding to the fact that even the drawing was being done on computers something that isn't anywhere near ubiquitous when compared to digital filming, compositing and processing of traditionally hand drawn animation in anime.

I always get a little weirded out by the fact that they have everyone dancing at once instead of one couple at a time, seems just like they're adding complications to a 'sport' that's already hard to do in the first place.

You have to always be aware of the people around you so you don't knock into anyone, while also having to make sure that your routine grabs more attention or is in a better spot to be seen than anyone else, as well.

Nah. I don't believe it's gonna be as bad as YoI animation.

Of course if it's I.G the drop wouldn't be as bad as YoI's, but yeah, I just meant in general, the first/second episodes would look amazing, but after that there would be a big decline in the quality of the dancing scenes, which need to have a lot of effort put in otherwise they'll look like crap.

I don't think it will be that popular. It's airing in the summer. There will be a minimum of 10 fujo shows to compete with. (Dive was already announced) Girl MCs will give this one a disadvantage with fujos. Most others will be turned off by dancing/sports. It has its manga fanbase though.
