Why is he the most badass character of all time?
Might as well post the new abridged episode
I was expecting 1 or 2 more jokes. Hopefully 8-10 will have so much material to work with that it will make up for it. I'm hoping for a "nothing personnel" on this scene.
Self awareness, execution, and appeal of a show outside of its edge.
In Hellsing's case, its edge works because it decides to go for an over-the-top action story with endearing characters taht bounce off one another. As such Hellsing can be described as edge done right, or "metal as fuck" due to the way the gore and other edgy elements aren't used to shock, but to entertain.
Elfen Lied by contrast tries to be a sincere story...yet still having over the top gore and darkness that it feels at odds with what it's trying to accomplish.
Anderson was 1,000 times more badass. Descending straight into Hell on his own terms, so that he could see Heaven.
I haven't watched the Hellsing series yet, but watch the abridge episodes. It's fucking spoiling shit for me, I didn't know that the french fag dies
Fucking loved it. I actually choked laughing at the Sonic bit.
Also, watching it after watching Berserk 2016 and a few episodes of DB Super has made me realize how bad the animation in those is.
>Descending straight into Hell on his own terms
>on his own terms
He became a monster to kill Alucard and failed. Alucard wanted to be killed by him as a human. The moment Anderson used Helena's Nail he stopped being badass
I liked it for what it was, honestly much of the humour in this series come from Alucard so these last few episodes have been kinda weak compared to the earlier ones.
Hopefully they can go all out with the next ones, kinda sad they most likely wont go back to Halloween releases
>Tearing through the Millennium soldiers
>Making Zorin say her name as she crushes her face against the wall
Vampire Seras makes me feel weird. The whole familiar thing doesn't help.
I like how they are self aware enough to point out that most of the humor comes from Alucard and these past two episodes are less funny/more serious as a result.
Still pretty good episode.
I'm talking about his deliberate charge into Alucard's legions. He knew he wasn't going to make it out alive, but did it anyway, because he believed Alucard needed to be destroyed.
>Hirano used to make straight porn mags
>creates Seras, gives her massive tits and a likable personality
>Yet she gets absolutely no fanservice
Was she based on his little sister? That doesn't make any fucking sense
>Abridged No Life Queen Seras
Oh fuck the hell yes.
Living Dead Girl was kind of a safe song choice, though.
What a fun way to end my year. Cheers.
What do you suppose happened to them in the end? Alucard pretty much lost his chance to die provided some loophole for his current omnipresence doesn't exist. Are Alucard and Seras just gonna continue to serve the Hellsing organization even after Integra dies? She's probably hit menopause already so there's no chance of a bloodline heir. Does the Hellsing organization even have a future like this?
