They're legitimately almost extinct anymore. There hasn't been shit since Lupin 2015 and only Dimension W before that. Before Dimension W, only Dandy. The fuck is going on?
Millenium actress although she starts as a child.
>Drifters just this season
>Rakugo was this year
>Fune wo Amu from this season
>Amaama to Inazuma starred a dad
>Dimension W was trash but did star a guy 30+
>Gate is also trash but has a 33 year old lead
>ConRevo has a 30 year old superpowered man child as the main character in it
>Osomatsu, a comedy series with characters in their mid twenties
>Stuff from earlier but I watch this year: Tiger and Bunny, Pyscho-Pass, Shinsekai Yori (latter half), and Planetes
>One Punch Man was meme of the year last year and starred a 25 year old
I've prefered my characters 20+ since I was kid, and while anime doesn't typically appeal to that sensibility, it's not THAT tough to find.
Literally more than half my top ten list for 2016 is made up of shows with a 20+ cast. The only ones with an explicit focus on high school kids were Flying Witch, Flip Flappers and Amanchu!, and the first two barely even count.
Stop getting your recommendations from fifteen-year-olds on MAL.
this is perfectly acceptable since the movie is about an actress telling her story
this /a/non gets it.
Fune wo amu and the udon thing were starred by working men
