I really hope they don't. Hakunon is cute.
FUGG I DIDNT REALIZE A THREAD IS UP ALREADY
Alright, I guess I'll take the hook this time.
Extra was an enjoyably fluffy VN with a memorable bunch of characters and some fun, truly Nasu-esqe weirdbuild- I mean worldbuilding. The sections of dungeon grinding that were made either extremely shitty or somewhat interesting (I fall into the latter category, though I'll admit, it's not really good game design) by the rock-paper-scissors mechanic, which could be mitigated by grinding out more and learning the enemies patterns.
I enjoyed it.
Nero a cute. Tamamo a cute. Emiya is a bro.
If it goes by anything Nasu posted on his blog female Hakuno actual servant would be Archer while the male one would be Nero. Of course he could have a different plan for this anime and I could be wrong.
But, the fact we don't get a clear shot on who summon Nero and her being near some dead corpse that started to reform itself without knowing what gender it is and not being near Female Hakuno that we see in the trailer does set some alarms off in my head on it being a bait and switch type of thing. With the Male MC being revealed in the next trailer they release.
That part was actually related on the "canon" Fate/Extella follows, which is different in a few ways from the original game (female Hakuno and male Hakuno exsisting at the same time, for example)..
Yeah, I got a similar impression. I really hope it doesn't end up like that blog post though. FeMC/Nero is way better than MC/Nero.
Yeah, that was my point, I meant as "don't take that blog post as certainty" as it was meant to address a specific canon (he even said he was supposed to write a book about it then changed idea I believe?).
Despite milking the franchise into oblivion, he's still way unpredictable regarding the stories he's involved with.
Yes, please. The list of your flaws should be so big adding one more will not make diffirence in endresult of you being a retarded fanboy newfag.
>The uploader has not made this video available in your country. Sorry about that.
SOMEBODY UPLOAD THIS SHIT EXTERNALLY GODDAMMIT
Go back to 3eddit or whatever retarded place you came from, newfag.
Anyone who is not a newfag, would have watched Moonphase in the past thus have the same reaction when watching this PV, as people do in this thread.
Wait a fucking second? Female MC does not have the same eyes as the Male version. Did you guys completely miss Male MCs eyes at the end?
You guys are being baited, Male and FeMC will be in it.
Your right I completely miss that. I just compared FMC eyes with the ones at the end of the trailer and despite them sharing the same eye color they look completely different. It really is a bait-and-switch trailer
It\s not denial though if you actually look on how both of their eye shapes look like. FMC has the more feminine looking eyes compared to the one at the end of the trailer that looks Masculine.
They could technically follow the Extella canon for the first game that has both, but in that case I assume certain parts would need a rework as CCC happens ("normal" ending) and certain characters get the shaft. Not to mention, people have been raging about the MC, but what about Rani/Rin routes, if they appear?
Nothing to explain. Some Anons were acting like no Gudako in the Grand Order OVA meant Typer Moon was all Male MCs all the time, and now they have egg on their face so they're doing transparently obvious damage control.
nasu specifically states Hakunon is an inferior version of Hakuno in a blog post.
Although the red man beats Gawain while half dead/burnt and holds off tamamo and nero at the same time while also being half dead/burt so it's not like Hakunon's route is a bad one.
That's only in Extella, and Last Encore is Extra's story.
Again, in Extella, which this isn't an adaptation of. Jesus between this and Danganronpa V3 /a/ is just incapable of thinking a grill can be the MC
What if this happened in the show ?
there's a fairly good chance since both male master and female master are shown this will just be the extra that lead to extella. That route is far more suitable to be adapted into an anime than the original extra anyway.
Nasu spoiled the plot of Extra's anime on his blog.
Extella is a sequel to the anime instead of the Extra games.
FeMC is an AI split off from MC who summons Archer and BTFOs Gawain replacing Leo in the tournament.
MC summons Nero but also gets Tamamo who was summoned by Atomic Gatorade but was betrayed by him.
Nero kicks Tamamo off a bridge before they fight Twice.

Why is it hard for some people to see the obvious? This is not even a debate anymore.
What the fuck is even going on?
Left upper panel is the last location in the game, where you fight the last boss.
Then what about the rest?
Did they just spoil the ending for us?
That story basically cuts off both Rin and Rani, something I don't expect to happen in this adaptation for example.
Also, I doubt the entire plot will be a copy of that one, considering CCC happened in the Extella continuity and there's no way Last Encore would adapt that in what I expect to be a one-cour show.
Tl;dr version - I honestly don't care which MC is used, but I also am doubtful it's going to be a 100% version of that blog post.
>I doubt the plot of the show that Nasu put on his blog will be the plot of the show
Whatever you say retard.
>considering CCC happened in the Extella continuity
Yeah he notes "CCC happens here but it's not in the show' in the blog post idiot.
Nasu actually straight up said that there are different routes in the new version as well, including a Tamamo route and a FemMC route. And that the anime will have a different version.
>>this looks even better than Heaven's Feel
I don't know what this blog argument is all about, but the anime is its own story, and Nasu has said as much
I browse the Grand Order threads in /vg/ and I've heard nothing about Last Encore being a prequel to Extella until the moment FeMC for Last Encore was revealed.
All the fate spin-offs are trash. It all just feels like fanservice instead of actual interesting stories.
objectively SHAFT looks to be the most creative and unique. and that's partly based on it not strictly following an already-established iteration, but nevertheless it looks far more interesting than HF movie or apoc done by shitstain A-1
>SHAFT looks to be the most creative and unique
Shaft almost always fuck up their adaptations though, just look at what they are doing with the 3-gatsu adaptation right now. The only thing they got "right" are the Monogataris.
Nothing wrong with the HF movie, even if people are liking it to KnK which is so obvious when you have the studio, a director and the music composer from it.
Staff list for Fate/SHAFT when?
I just don't like the art style, like for example pic related, which looks like a Flip Floppers character. I find it atrocious.
How so? Both MCs are blank slates, they don't even have VAs or any dialogue in-game (instead resorting to inner monologues so that the player would feel more immersed). Extra was obviously inspired by Persona in many regards.
t. someone who didn't play with both MCs and noticed all the tons of differences between them in how they behave, think and all the other characters talk and interact with the MC depending on which one is it.
Funny that you mention that because on P3 Minato and the FemMC are highly distinct characters.
>Extra gets FeMC
>FGO gets MaleMC
Why did they fuck it up so bad.
>Working link posted in the thread multiple times
Only retards who enjoy eating shit actually care about FGO anyway, so they figured it was fine for them.
That's also why GO was adapted by literally whos on a shoestring budget,.while literally everything else will keep getting big studios.
its fucking hilarious that /fgog/ eats up these subpar adaptations because they're so used to getting fed garbage
even prismafags rioted when silverlink dropped the ball, really makes u think
>Leonardo da Vinci from Apocryphia
You mean based Shakespeare, right?
Fate/Grand order is made to appeal to the lowest common denominator, the Japanese otaku addicted to trashy mobages who associates more waifus to more quality. Grand Order is a stroke of genius since they can keep feeding literal shit to their costumers and they'll go through as many logical loops as necessary to defend it.
Can some anime businessman explain exactly what do they gain by blocking my country from seeing this PV?
Except for the part where she was disgustingly better and only lost because it would be pointless for her to win. She defeated stronger opponents than Male MC with literally half a servant, and then Nasu went and noted that in other realities FemHakuno was the real MC and the male was the faker.
It wouldn't have been so bad if not for the absolutely fucking retarded fight system. The plot was actually pretty fun, if somewhat short (because after you got past the artificial padding of the batshit stupid dungeon crawling and fights, it was fairly small albeit par for the course for a PSP game).
>tfw you'll get to watch all the dumb secondaries get blindsided by everything to do with Roman and Solomon
They already got everything they wanted from the game and 80% of it was shit. The only well written thing in the entire game was Babylon, which is one out of 7-8 campaigns.
And even that wasn't really well written. These are people that just want to see the story animated and they clearly don't care about anything.
Why is Shaft so shit? I can already see this been a Quality mess by the third or four episode, holy Jesus.
And it's going to flop, screencap this motherfuckers, I bet anything on it.
>pretending to be deep, bad shots and too many filters is "cinematography"
I don't think she's aware of the last bit
Good of you're a Altera or Nero fan
>Most Fate adaptions so far have just been straight forward adaptions to show off the battles and characters
>Nero gets the stupidly pretentious, 'artistic' anime by Shaft likely filled with long monologues
I bet she would approve.
That was joke CV, obviously. Sakura Tange is a great singer, her work on "Cardcaptor Sakura" was amazing. I would be happy if she did the opening theme.
I agree. I don't understand why won't they use Tamamo, since she's just as popular as Nero.
Fun fact: from what we can tell the real Nero was actually rather talented. He wrote songs, he did a lot of acting, and he was a good singer. And if we look at the ruins of the Domus Aurea, it becomes obvious that he also knew how to build a fucking masterpiece of a palace.
Nope, that's a lie. He did his best trying to quell the fire (he gave out the orders personally), and later he spent a lot of money rebuilding the city.
The problem here is that Nero made a lot of enemies when he was alive. Christians hated him, the Roman elite hated him, and they tried to deface him after his death in every way possible. In actuality he was a decent emperor for a while, normal people certainly loved him (and so did the Eastern provinces). He had problems of his own, mostly related to his weak mental health later in life (and the Great Fire of Rome fucked him over BIG time), but he was no Caligula, that's for certain. Actually, Nasu's portrayal of Nero is not as far removed from reality as you might think. He was not a bad guy, he was simply an eccentric artist put in charge of the greatest empire in the world. And he was also a pacifist - Nero hated the sight of blood, probably thanks to Seneca.
