I really like Johnny's stand from Part 7.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for evolving stands in general but watching Tusk get progressively more powerful was just a delight, especially since it meant that it wasn't just punch ghosts anymore.

Requiem at least made sense since its a result of being stabbed with the Arrow.
But Echoes and Tusk just transform innately at will. It's absolutely stupid.

Tusk evolved as Johnny gained better understanding on how the spin worked.

Echoes evolved as Koichi learned how to be independent and stop depending of Josuke's help.

It's not even subtle about it either, so I don't understand how you missed this detail if you actually read the manga.

Digimon can freely shift between their forms at will while Pokemon can only shift between their final evolution and their mega evolution if their trainer is holding an item while also having them carry a stone.
