I think the latter part of Helck could actually transition quite well, but I think an adaptation would ruin the early comedic chapters that I believe are a big part of what makes the manga special. If they're adapted as is, the anime would have pacing issues, but if they're rushed, they'd lose a lot of the comedic timing.

By contrast, YgS could probably benefit from anime pacing. I imagine it'd resemble something like Korean Zombie Desk Car, but with actual plot. As for censorship, I think it'd be funnier if they actually played with the censorship rather than getting nipples (which we don't really get in the manga anyways), but I guess they'd have to get creative to pull that off 5 times per episode.

I hope so, because I remember the part right before the demon appears where they finally have that meaningful talk their relationship was in dire need of, and the way it ended just outright insulted me. She finally gets a firsthand glimpse at everything he's been through and how she was his primary motivation for staying alive, finally gets a good reason to connect and develop real feelings for this idiotic pervert she legitimately seemed to hate at one point, and what happens? YOU TOUCHED MY THIGHS NOW I BEAT YOU UP. I was fucking pissed. She was this fucking close to becoming best girl then plummets straight down to worst. And while it's more of a personal gripe it does annoy me that the author refuses to sexualize the necromancer like every other girl even when given ample reason and opportunity, but I can't count that against the story.
If it gets better though then I'll have to pick it back up.

I don't think it was the worse adaptation ever. The rotoscoped art style gives it a different feel from the manga. Also the classroom scene was excellent as were the OPs and EDs. The anime never even got to the best parts either.

It actually gets pretty damn kinky at points, to be sure a lot more than the average normalfag can handle since some of it is kinda S&Mish, there's no small amount of gruesome torture porn, and it's pretty much all done to lolis and the one shota. Apparently it's incredibly difficult to typeset for various reasons, and most translators are intimidated by the task. Personally I would if someone translated because I have the time for it, but I've never done it before and I know it'll look like shit so it's better for everyone if we just wait. Also you should know the only persisting characters from the translated chapters are Regu and Riko, everyone else of importance they end up meeting along the way, like Nanashi the helpful cunny bunny, that tall pale chick who beat them up because she was bored apparently and sent them along their way, evil Mask Dude who walked right out of Destiny and right into Bloodborne then came out of Bloodborne and went into Franken Fran then came out of that and walked into this manga, mask dude's busty daughter who was like melted and put into a talking canteen or something and now she's a chicken gizzard I guess, and several others.
