Any reason or gradual decline?

To the bookwalker script guy - here's a few reasons I could think of why they're banning you:

- Timing between page requests - this one is obvious, the requests shouldn't be too quick in succession, you should also try introducing some random delays to make it look like someone is flipping the pages
- Useragent and HTTP headers -also obvious, by default Python sends its own useragent with no other headers which makes it dead obvious a script is being used. Try to make requests look like a real browser, with cookies, referers and everything.
- Other requests - when you use a real browser, every time you open the reader you download bunch of shit like scripts, images and stylesheets, they could detect scripts by searching for requests that suspiciously don't download any of that and just go straight for the license request and images instead. In this case remember about HTTP headers as well.

Have I sold out if I forego scanning tanks and instead use digital raws with waifu?
>>
if anyone wants something to typeset, someone translated a chapter of Masamune's Revenge here >>151502954

just so we don't have to deal with sick mothers.
>>
>>151619762
Do not fucking use waifu2x.
>>
>>151620460

Why not?
>>
Is there any updated chink script?
I only have ver. 0.6.3.
>>
>>151620460
Waifu2x is a disgusting tool to use on scans. It just ruins all the fucking patterns.

Use what's available or buy your own raws faggot.
>>
>>151623477
The whole point is there aren't patterns on digital raws.
>>
>>151623477

Just don't use the noise reducer if you don't have to.
>>
Probably gonna do Watashi no Shounen, but I don't know what I want to do about the scans. I have both tanks out so far, but they're very pretty and I think I'd like to keep them intact.
>>
>>151628358
Are you unaware of the public online raws, or are they just too low quality for your tastes?
>>
Sometimes I see a thread defending not using honorifics and I just wonder why I even bother trying to explain anything.
>>
>>151628885
Probably because you're trying to cover up your lack of translation skills by pretending they're impossible to translate and not even trying.
>>
>>151629129
They literally are impossible to translate. You lose context when you leave them out, and any attempts at substitution result in stuff no one says in real life, making it completely jarring, making the cost much larger than the benefit.
>>
the downside of using honorifics is that non-weabo people can't understand a shit.
But it points out a lot of subtle stuff.
>>
>>151629220
I'd say often the implication of character relationships and the like that honorifics have can be worked in elsewhere, through the manner in which characters speak to each other, or are made redundant by the way the character dynamics are established elsewhere in the text, or just aren't really that important. There are certainly situations and series where they're more important and it really helps to decide to keep them in, but I don't think they're a must.
It all comes down to the style of translation you're trying to produce, really; if you're trying to make as domesticised, covert a translation as possible, perhaps in a series without a particularly 'Japanese' flavour outside of the honorifics (putting aside all arguments about how covert a manga translation can be if you're not flipping the pages and redrawing every sound effect) the honorifics might do nothing but harm the intended effect on the receiver. But most of the time that's not going to be the case, and it comes down to weighing up how semiotically important you think they are against how much you're willing to get called a weeb for leaving them in.

>Implying we translate for the non weaboo audience

As far as I'm concerned, I'm translating for /a/ and anyone else that happens to read it is a bonus.

I agree mostly with this post.
