Sayaka is basically the Solaire of Astoria in this show. The sole ray of sunlight and justice in a nightmarish hellscape of distorted reality that was created by Homura to imprison Madoka.

I just want a second season already.

Rebellion was great, but it lacked the tight storytelling and build up that would've made Homura's descent more impactful. The movie just sort of threw it all at you at once.
