Hayao Miyazaki on sakuga:
>I hated animators with this mindset, they would fucking try to change my storyboard. I kept reading about this guy Kanada in Newtype so i just hired him to see what the buzz was all about. He is good but I didn't let him go sakuga on my movies. Sakuga was a mistake, and animators that don't follow my orders should be fired.

fake & sage
No source? Ok OP, I totally believe you.

Totally legit.
Miyazaki memes are a mistake

Miyazaki was doing sakuga himself back in the 80s though.
So you're retarded

Totally fake but it's true. Good animation is one that sticks to the storyboards (which would ideally already account for all the character acting necessary if the director gives a shit) as much as possible. Anything more than that is probably the closest to real "forced animation" it gets, despite that being a buzzword. If little shits like Bahi go on adding a fucking mess of movement just for the sake of movement it looks like crap and it means the animator doesn't care about the direction and the director doesn't care about the animation.

Miyazaki is a mistake. In all seriousness, can he just die already? Even without the memes it's clear he's just a bitter old shit.
