Oh shit, I had already given up hope for a new WTC VN.
Isn't Hotarubi supposed to be related to the WTC series though? I wonder if it'll tie in to the new game or if it'll just be its own standalone thing.
Every thread until we reach the Golden Land.
Finally someone with fine taste.
Because she's the hero Rokkenjima deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt her. Because she can take it. Because she's not our hero. She's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Black Witch.
Thanks for the wonderful news, OP. I loved Higurashi and Umineko so much. I hope this one also has eight installments so I can take the whole journey from the beginning.
List of people resonsible for the Rokkenjima incident::
If it weren't for these people everyone would be alive and happy
What setting are you expecting for the next WTC? Haunted Hotel? Abandoned facility? Big City?
I want to deito Lucifer even in 2017.
Well at least it's somewhat on the horizon now.
I poorly translated the tweet. Completely new mystery.
"Yesterday, I heard from the personal that there were a lot of Umineko fans at the comiket booth... For seeing that much people cosplaying our characters even in the middle of the winter, I would like to thank you. The development for the next game from the "when they cry" series is scheduled to start in 2017. It is expected that this game will be completely different compared to "Higurashi" and "Umineko". I wish you a happy new year."
Reminder that the only innocent person in Rokkenjima was Magical Gohda Chef.
Why didn't he survive? He deserved better.
AAHHHH UNTIL HE SAYS IT IN RED
I WONT BELIEVE IT
Higanbana was excellent
Rose Gun Days was very flawed but very fun
Will there be red truth and witches?
I very much doubt it, going off of "it will be very different"
So I'm imagining some kind of swerve where perhaps the story can get meta without witches...
I just hacked R07 computer and took a peek on the WTC 5 plot:
>the story starts at a winter resort where a bunch of people are enjoying their winter season
>suddenly an avalanche
>everyone dies but 5 people
>since they are trapped and without any signal of hope they, decied to confess their sins to each other, in order to see if they can find some peace in those last moments
>Everyone share their sins and crimes
>everything goes pitchblack
>MC #1 wake up in a hospital bed, realizing he and the other 4 survieved
>Now all of them has to live their lives knowing that someone out there knows about their sins, the sins that they swear take to their graves
How can "completely different" be interpreted?
Higurashi and Umineko had pretty much the same general idea of 8 arcs with the same story "resetting" each times, but besides that it's still totally different, will the new WTC at least keep this structure?
>Bitches no Naku Koro Ni
hype hype for the traveling witches
>I hope he can make something else other than crime mysteries and edgy bullshit
>I don't want another WTC
Okay, what do you want?
Anyway, what I want is something different than what he used to work on.
After reading Higanbana, I feel that it was stale and Ryukishi can't escape from the HIgurashi/Umineko shadow.
I disagree, I think about 75% of Higanbana's stories were clever and original. But
Yeah that would be interesting. To jump from exploration of the classic mystery themes and aesthetics to something completely in the opposite direction. I suppose absolutely anything is possible at this point. As long as it's a mystery.
I think it's the setting.
WtC are WtC because they have 8 arcs and surround mysteries that inevitably leads to murders and disasters.
My best guess is that Meta is gone and the setting will probably be modern, but nothing beyond that. Tho I would love Ryu approach to an ontological mystery myself.
Going by how long it took R07 from releasing the last chapter of Higurashi to the first chapter of Umineko, we'll probably see the first chapter of this game being released sometime in 2018.
Also, how long on average was the wait for a chapter to be translated? I wasn't here when Umineko was being released.
HOLY COW, i wasn't expecting something like that to actually exist already. Reading it right now.
Erika posters need to put into camps, bunnies are the best and Rabiribi is the goty
Well I agree with one of those statements
Any guesses of how it is going to be like?
My own guess or wishful thinking: R07 will try to do something similar to the lixAxil closed room duels in EP8 but on a large scale.
Two culprits opposing each other with the innocents caught on the crossfire.
>Implying Ryu can trick me into reading all of his trash again
I'll read the first few releases in the series but after I finish the last entry, I'll probably drop it for the trash it is.
The house adjacent to mine until very recently had bat nests in the attic, since the people living there have been leaving their attic window open for years.
Four have made it into my house, all during the summer. One turned up in my kitchen, one in the living room, and one in the ceiling of my basement. And everything is sealed except for a tiny ass chimney path which only opens by the heater all the way underground, and is always closed off except for during the winter anyway. Things could kill anyone in any room in the Ushiromiya mansion.
I feel as though I have been waiting for a hundred years for this!
>Okay, what do you want?
I want what I hyped over three years ago. Space WTC. Detectives in space.
The mesa, a focus on details and future political shenanigans. The Sonozaki mafia in space. Hotel Krauss. All of that!
You and me both. I've been waiting for this part to be referenced for years.
Episode 1 (December 2017): 30 years old
Episode 2 (August 2018): 31
Episode 3 (December 2018): 31
Episode 4 (August 2019): 32
Episode 5 (December 2019): 32
Episode 6 (August 2020): 33
Episode 7 (December 2020): 33
Episode 8 (August 2021): 34
>but I can't say space does at all.
Oh really? How about a remote space colony of, say, 2000 people. Everyone has a job to do and then, mysteriously, someone is thrown out of an airlock. No one knows how but it happened. Then there's some conspiracy about old alien artifact and people start freaking out about Gods, similar to Alien. Blur the line between mystery, magic and sci-fi but IN SPAAAACE.
Tell me you wouldn't read that. And Space Detectives. Just that thought alone makes me giggle.
Don't watch Higurashi or Umineko.
Start by reading Higurashi.
I included the voice patch so you don't need to change anything.
Then read Umineko.
You can find a torrent somewhere.
It is better to play the games.
But Higurashi anime was still ok.
And this new installment most likely won't be as good as the previous ones.
First four umineko episodes were awesome with fifth being the peak of the series.
Higurashi was ok over all.
But I think he will finally put and end to this series when he sees that the fan reaction is poor and he is hated.
The Higurashi anime is maybe 6/10. The Umineko anime is 3/10.
The visual novels are far better to read. You should start with Higurashi and then move on to Umineko. It's not like one is a sequel to the other, but there are elements and references in Umineko that are more enjoyable if you're familiar with Higurashi.
I mean, really, some of the scary scenes are good even though it fucks up the overall answers. Like not showing Tomitake having fun with the gang during the festival, and making Mion and Rena look insane.
The music is also god tier, something you don't see anyone mention anymore because the VN music is godlike as well.
You misunderstand, for every person saying the anime is ok, someone watches it instead of reading the VN, then wonders if he should read the VN afterwards if he knows the twist.
It's just the logical solution. Shit on the anime and tell everyone to stay away from it even though it's decent only because it captures the paranoia horror aspect in the VN.
Still this is not a right way to go about it.
We should recommend people to play games first but also say that anime is ok because that is how things are in reality.
Also anime is more easy to get in and go through for people with limited time when compared to the VNs who has long ass text.
You guys are agressive fags. Shitting on it won't change fact that most people will go for it first because it is easy to go through. And it does still do an ok job by itself.
Just like I've said already, recommend them the VNs first and if they don't want to they can go and watch anime.
>We should recommend people to play games first but also say that anime is ok because that is how things are in reality.
That's what I do, I'm just explaining the mentality people have of shitting on the anime in the off change some idiot watches it instead of reading the VN.
>Also anime is more easy to get in and go through for people with limited time when compared to the VNs who has long ass text.
I cant stand VNs, I only read Umineko manga too
I heard from staff that people showed up in Umineko cosplay to comiket yesterday...
I really appreciate you choosing to cosplay as characters from my works, especially while it's so cold.
There are plans to start work on the next 'when they cry' series in 2017.
I intend to make this one completely different to Higurashi and Umineko!
Happy new year!
Too bad Kodaka already is plagarizing Umineko
Eat shit R07
>That's what I do, I'm just explaining the mentality people have of shitting on the anime in the off change some idiot watches it instead of reading the VN.
m8, not like everyone would be willing to spend many hours to read VNs, it needs effort. If we say them to ignore anime no matter what they might just drop the series altogether which would be not good in my opinion.
People ask if they should watch anime or play games or whatever every thread. Be sure to tell them to fuck off but I won't mind to give them answers, unfortunately for you.
Never! Il read manga and be contemt with it, I dislike novels
I still enjoyed the time I spent on it, sue me.
Iv got the tracks on my HDD anon. Theyre not bad
You do understand that the sfx and music sets a very definite tone, which in Umineko particularly makes it as fun as it was?
At least you read the manga. That's like only 1/2 of a fuck up.
>Haven't visited /a/ in months
>Happen to see this
There's still justice in this world
Yasu did nothing
No, you're an autistic sycopant who probably made an eight hour video on how Rosa is the culprit. Umineko's ending was fucking trash, and despite what the one or two losers who defend it say it didn't "go above" people's heads.
It's just structurally impotent. The culprit is an unlikable spaz, the themes are nonsensical, and the complete 180 pivot in focus back to the game pieces in the end after spending four episodes pissing about with different layers of meta feels about as genuine as Kinzo the Friendly Grandpa
Never make a promise to a tranny
Your rich adoptive aunt is pretty cool don't ruin your relationship with her because of Catgirl Rika
Don't date your maid and dress her up as a guy
Don't date maids in general they're cheating sluts
Building a giant bomb beneath your mansion is a rather odd way of showing your love
Perhaps make a few phone calls and/or take a boat to mainland Japan before killing everyone because a five year old boy hasn't talked in awhile
I find things like spaceships and stark white space stations terribly sterile and boring, but I could enjoy something like Phantasy Star 1-4 that takes place on a variety of vibrant, flourishing planets.
The one thing we can take away from Jessica's experience in Umineko is, don't trust your friends. In fact, don't trust anyone.
The thing is that I rarely see very valid criticism of Umineko, meaning it always boils up to ridiculously subjective opinions ("culprit is unlikable") or just calling story dumb with no further explanations. In a way the sudden change of story focus is very similar in Higurashi, and Higurashi rarely gets trashed as thematically inconsistent even as you could similarly see it transform from horror-drama into power of friendship.
In short I totally understand why many people do not like it and the focus shift it makes, but if you have the time then please explain further why it's structurally impotent in a way that doesn't boil up to "I didn't like it". Considering the first half of your post is pretty much just an angry rant you probably have something to specify.
>The aunts will never wear school swimsuits for you
>Eva will never serve you nice food and drinks while in a apron only
>Natsuki will never give you her soft comfy lap to lay on
>Rosa will never wash your back and feel her breast against your skin
>Kyrie will never give you a relaxing massage after a long day at work
Life is suffering.
>The thing is that I rarely see very valid criticism of Umineko
Cause you're autistic. I'm not here for you, you're irrational.
Write up essays that you nitpick to death and then accuse me of "not getting it?"
Sorry faggot, not happening. But for the sake of any suckers your "people just didn't GET IT" act cons, the problem is that Umineko makes a big deal about rules and trust, but betrays that trust and cheats several times.
The red text counting personas as people, but not witch personas as people, is inexcusable. The endless references to "fair play" mystery but having a giant fucking bomb at the center of the island is fucking dumb. The deliberate and constant switch between "You don't need to forgive the culprit, just understand her!" and then "ISN'T BEATRICE(Yasu) GREAT SHE'S SUCH A HERO YAAAAAAAY" is irritating, and finally, the meta self insert writer crap. Fuck Featherine, fuck "Touya", fuck the entire second half of Umineko. It's trash.
No, in other words I know what Umineko fans are like, you're literally all autistic crazy people.
Folks, take a look. This is who you're dealing with
Because Battler has good taste and knows she is best aunt.
You can only pick one of the following.
>n-no I'm just talking about the apologists now!
You really should consider suicide, you're going to run into a lot of people in life who are way smarter than you and if this is how you react you're not going to last long anyway.
>The thing is that I rarely see very valid criticism of Umineko, meaning it always boils up to ridiculously subjective opinions
The fact that most criticism is always akin to this just shows to me how Umineko achieved what it wanted and how great it is.
Why are you this angry on an imageboard about pseudo-intellectual detective novel?
I asked you to explain why the series was thematically incompetent and most your nitpicking is just nitpicking.
>but not witch personas as people, is inexcusable
But witches aren't people. Obviously you are going to say next "but imaginative persons aren't persons either" but considering it was never even defined what counts as a person that's hardly a trait that would mess even the internal logic.
>The endless references to "fair play" mystery but having a giant fucking bomb at the center of the island is fucking dumb.
It was foreshadowed since episode 1 so it's hardly "dumb", just something you didn't like.
>"ISN'T BEATRICE(Yasu) GREAT SHE'S SUCH A HERO YAAAAAAAY"
I don't think this ever happened. The novel portrayed Yasu pretty honestly as a shitty person, it's just that most of ep 7 is told from his perspective which is reflected in the narrative. As a counterweight he is portrayed to do pretty malicious pranks to for example Jessica, not to mention the fact he pretty much planned a mass murder. I don't understand how you got the message he was a hero when he was portrayed as malicious and borderline insane.
Your points are pretty stupid and you outright refused to answer to what I asked. I think it's time to step off of your high horse, at least if you refuse to actually discuss the topic in a way that doesn't amount to petty insults.
I didn't like her much in Ep. 4 and that was more due to how her scenes were written than anything else. Felt like they dragged on forever at points with very little actually going on.
By the end of Chiru with all the plot being revealed and shit, I shipped her with Battler more than I did Beatrice.
No one hates Ange. If they do, it's simply because they didn't reread Umineko.
When you start ep 4, you don't care about Ange. It's only when you get to ep 6 that you start to care. And when you reread ep 4, you see her beginnings and growth. Her bullying at school in ep 4 is top tier.
>admitting to everyone in class that you're a worthless piece of shit while naked
sorry but i pick the one and only pure furudo erika.
You know, those are actually both my second favorites of each. So good taste.
Wonder if it will take too long till it gets translated. Gonna be hard to dodge all the spoilers.
Stop this, there are people in the thread who cannot apparently distinguish if you are being ironic or not
Ange nearly ruined and doomed the others. Thankfully she managed to understand in the ending, but things wouldn't have gone that badly had she tried to listen to Battler's advice.
One of the short stories Ryukishi wrote about Umineko. There are several others up on the site, like Our Confession which has the framework for another Umineko scenario that Ryukishi considered but didn't write.
Because sadly it somehow still defines vampires in popular culture. I guess it's because of the popularity.
Shiki is kind of hit or miss series, but I'd chalk it more to the ridiculous character designs and character focus. I guess vampires aren't really for everyone, but considering we are discussing series mainly about witches I can find lot of parallels. At least the vampire folklore is really interesting if you ever get around to it.
Ryukishi already did zombies in Outbreak and ghosts in Higanbana. Vampires have been done to death by everyon else.
What's left? Maybe some kind of werewolf or frankenstein inspired monster?
He could just rip off the Frankenstein story and build a murder mystery around it.
Which would be funny since that was an idea I had a long time ago and even made shitty Ryukishi art for one day after heavy drinking
>tfw you missed the shitposting train when Umineko and Higurashi were still fresh
>twf WWIII has already begun and killed you before you can participate in new freshly translated WTC shitposting train
>Umineko moms never got that amazingly-drawn doujinshi that you could admire with your whole heart and maybe even fap to
being stuck in a logic error loop must be better than this painful existence
>tfw can't stop sexualizing the bara goats.
looks like i've found the motivation to finish umineko
i am somewhere in episode 7. I don't remember why I stopped, i remember liking episode 7 a lot because it was somewhat addressing the problems i had with the previous episodes, which was that any of them barely explain the connection between the "game world" and the witches
>Witches are not real
Then how con something this
No, but if we cuddled afterwards I might start to believe it.
He couldn't say it in red
Red for truth confirmed
Red truth is shit only in a sense it's the shit.
I don't even have my Umineko folder now, what am I supposed to post in this thread?
Depends on your theory but the Golden Truth is a human truth that is accepted by the collective community. It can be true or false, but it becomes truth if everyone accepts it as such.
For example, there is no red truth on Kinzo's dead body or if he's dead, but because everyone notices that the body has a 6th toe, it becomes a gold truth that the body belongs to Kinzo.
Essentially, the red truth is the absolute truth, while the gold truth is an approximation of the truth by collective consensus. It does not have to be true, simply agreed upon to be the truth. For example, it is used a second time in ep 6, when Chick Beatrice and Beatrice create magic by ''appearing'' a candy from a cup. Thus, with the gold truth, it is agreed between those two that is is magic. As Lambda says, the gold truth can sometimes be stronger than the red truth but also weaker, it depends on your perspective, how it is used and who believes it.
The philosopher Peirce is rather interesting in that regard as it is his pragmatism that gold truth. Popper as well but he's a worth shit.
For example, to some, Rosatrice is a Gold Truth, even if it is not a red truth.
That is the difference.
Best body and best personnality, she's top-tier material for bully. Her duo with Eva is really funny to watch.
Can't wait to see Ryukishi's self insert
Which Umineko was the most pedo? Obviously not Battler.
>Ryukishi goes to the Chicago con
>''do you guys want more lolis?''
>''We'll you'll get more lolis!''
>falling in love with a 12-13 year old because she's playing with someone her own age
>marry her just because
You gotta admit though, Ryukishi makes good lolis. I can't think of a single one I didn't like.
Skeletons are superior to vampires, this is fact
It's a Republic dumbass. Read your Plato.
Also Umineko Apologists being whiny liberals makes way too much sense
>Everyone who disagrees with me is a stupid Goat!
>Sure, Yasu killed fucking everyone and scattered guns and bombs everywhere, but she's a poor transexual! We have to pity her! Don't you dare misgender her, goat!
And Rosatrice is the Bernie Sanders allegory
>N-no he definitely would have won
>T-this definitely is what REALLY happened
>I-it's all just a conspiracy to make you think the culprit was a maid
Is Tumblr well known for wanting to beat trannies to a pulp? If so then yeah, I'm so Tumblr. I want to shoot Yasu in ""her"" dick for every innocent person she killed
So, hm... three times?
Gohda, Jessica, and Maria.
You apparently really are tumblr.
>Gohda, Jessica, and Maria.
Apparently you have really shit standards for being "innocent" too, and by those standards Gohda shouldn't be on that list as he was at least as shit towards Yasu as some other members of the house.
Nah, Gohda said like what, some rude things to Yasu? He's still innocent. Didn't commit any crime. Just wanted to make food.
He probably smelled the evil coming off her child murdering, friend betraying taint. Yasu will burn in hell for murdering him.
Lie about Kinzo being dead, but I wasn't making digs at Yasu's other victims, just trying to see how far Yasufags would go defending the psychopath.
As you can see, they've no problem trying to smear Jessica's good name and saying she deserved to die. Truly, Yasufags are as sick and depraved as the real Yasu. Well, almost as sick and depraved - it's hard to be THAT fucked in the head and soul
If I've read Umineko, would it be worth it to read Higurashi before this new one come out? Umineko took me forever to finish and I'd probably be even busier when trying to read Higurashi.
But Higanbana was fucking great and Rose Guns Days was pretty okay.
I liked both of Chuuni's stories. Second one made me cry a little.
They might exist at Tea Parties if they become non-canon again.
Though it might bait many people into thinking the meta elements are in again. Unless the witches themselves deny everything
I really loved the story of Sumire's struggle for utopian DEMOCRACY
And the sequel, wherein DEMOCRACY is challenged by a DICTATOR
Golden truth is being hard-stuck on the denial phase for basically forever out of your own choice.
But Yasu didnt kill anyone, just wrote fun stories about murder mysteries. She dindu nothin wrong.
I liked the overall theme. That when a democracy becomes too irrational, the only thing that can bring order is a dictatorship. I think there's even a mention of this in Rose Guns Days. It's also something pointed out in LoGH.
Yasu wrote some murder mystery stories because she was bored and tossed them in the ocean.
Then all the Ushiromiya's got together and had a happy time at the family reunion. Unfortunately the bomb under the mansion went off because it was old and malfunctioned and everyone but Eva died (she was playing hide and seek) and Battler (who ended up getting knocked into the ocean).
It was just a stupid accident but afterwards the media insisted there was foul play and got people to imagine all the terrible things that might have happened but never did.
The truth behind Umineko's mysteries is that there were never any mysteries in the first place.
Ryukishi is right. A Democracy is actually pretty hard and if people take it for granted eventually it will end up as a corrupt, powerless system.
Benjamin Franklin said the same thing in his final speech at the Constitutional Convention.
>"... I agree to this Constitution, with all its faults—if they are such; because I think a general Government necessary for us, and there is no form of government but what may be a blessing to the people, if well administered; and I believe, farther, that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government, being incapable of any other."
Right, I thought explaining bullying as related to social hierarchy was pretty clever.
But what I really loved about those stories was how wacky it was. The word "bullying" must have been said like 500 times. Yukari and Sumire are fun reps for their philosophies.
>The American system is not a democracy. It is a constitutional republic. A democracy is a system of unlimited majority rule; the classic example is ancient Athens. And the symbol of it is the fate of Socrates, who was put to death legally, because the majority didn’t like what he was saying, although he had initiated no force and had violated no one’s rights.
>Democracy, in short, is a form of collectivism, which denies individual rights: the majority can do whatever it wants with no restrictions. In principle, the democratic government is all-powerful. Democracy is a totalitarian manifestation; it is not a form of freedom . . . .
>The American system is a constitutionally limited republic, restricted to the protection of individual rights. In such a system, majority rule is applicable only to lesser details, such as the selection of certain personnel. But the majority has no say over the basic principles governing the government. It has no power to ask for or gain the infringement of individual rights.
>I thought explaining bullying as related to social hierarchy was pretty clever.
It's a very well explanation of bullying.
we just don't know if it's a VN or a manga or an anime since he hadn't decided on the medium the last time he talked about it (though that was back before we really knew anything about Trianthology)
Honestly, a little game element might be really fun. RGD was alright for just clicking around.
I don't know, something like a rhythm game incorporated into a visual novel? I'd like that.
Say what you want, but I think Ryukishi (((knows something)))
Well okay, the context is if I recall correctly
Hotarubi's fatheris accused of gassing Chinese political prisoners and it's implied to be fabricated. An excuse to paint former enemies as war criminals. It's got nothing to do with Germany, but it's an interesting similarity.
Just started reading Higurashi. It it worth playing with the new art and voices? I feel like I won't be able to get used to it when I start reading the answer arcs. From what I know there is only the old version of it.
Also interestingly, that revelation came a little after Ryu went on a big defense of Jews who were under suspicion during the McCarthy era. It struck me especially odd when those two things were held back to back.
Duality. Ryukishi is arguing both sides. As always.
The latest Mangagamer translations are an improvement. Witch Hunt is assisting Mangagamer with Umineko's retranslation, making the dialogue sound more natural and less literal.
Read it with the old art but with the voices.
See >>151615373 to get your downloads.
The voice give atmosphere. One of the main problems of Higurashi is that you're unable to guess who is saying which line. It makes it confusing as you can't use'' ''XXXX'' said Rena''
This stops being an issue when Ryukishi gets a good handle in ep 5 and onwards.
Another problem of Higurashi that people have complained is that the gang mostly have the same tone of voice. They feel like kids but lack their own personality through their speech. The voices fixes that. Ryukishi also fixed that in Umineko as you can tell that each parent and cousin has a different speech pattern, so Ryukishi was clearly taking notes of the criticism.
It's human theory. Belief and faith are just another world meaning the same basic concept.
the new artwork is so bad though.
You can toggle between the sprites at any time. The main appeal isn't in the art and you'll probably get used to it anyway.
I haven't seen the new Kinzo until now. Good God what did the maniacs do!? Even Anime Kinzo is better.
Say whatever you want about Umineko's sprites but they had a certain appeal. That new Kinzo isn't memetic at all.
they're from the steam/mangagemer version
Is this a joke?
The only thing the Pachink version has it going for is how almost every girl is given bigger boobs and shorter skirt.
See even Kumasawa.
Only Will looks better. Everyone else looks like they have downs syndrome.
The manga is easy to get in as well except it's an infinitely better adaptation. Anyone suggesting beginning with the Anime is fucking retarded. No, there is nothing ok about it.
Probably not, because a pretty big part of the fanbase would be mad thta their abusive loli isn't a loli anymore
>People complain Ryukhisi is bad at drawing
>"Okay, let's draw technically good sprites"
>People complain they lack the emotion originals had as they too technical
>"Okay let's draw them uglier"
>People complain the sprites are ugly
You just cannot win this crowd.
Some of the sprites are okayish, but Battler looks beyond retarded and considering he has probably the most screen-time I think it's kind of a major fuck-up. Just downloaded the full ps3 patch with moving mouths etc, I guess I'll just replay with it some day.
Oh and EVA is the only exception, in her case her boobs actually shrunk.
Actually, Erika and the Eiserne Jungfrau all look pretty decent, such that it boggles my mind how the artist did the others.
You're right. Erika's neck looks a little thin to me, but other than that the four of them look decent in the Steam sprites. Go figure.
