New promo art.
What are your hopes for S2? I'm hoping small as time skip as possible. Those gaps were hell in S1.
The power of ai. Also furries.
Makkachin is grey.
>BD ships in a few hours
I've never been so excited about spending an obscene about of money on a disc I most likely won't even be able to rip.
It was only officially released about 4 hours ago. The comparisons and summaries you saw the other day are from people who got early pickup from Animate but the release date was only the 30th. Japanese fujos are usually very secretive about these things, they'll keep quiet until everyone had time to grab their copy and won't spoil their enjoyment.
Are you me? I got my invoice last night and felt thrilled for some reason. This fucking show.
No need to rob a bank when you've already won the lottery.
>search for FairyJJ fics out of boredom
>open the first one
>Yurio injected bleach in JJ's brain so he's a literal retard now
>he removed his teeth and broke his fingers
>he NTRed him and Isabella joins the abuse
>they fug and then force him to eat cat shit
I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't that. This is all Episode 12's fault.
Anon, you're supposed to sort the fanfics to get the ones with the most kudos/ratings first. Also wtf is this.
Why are you guys still having daily threads when your fujo show is over? What else i there to talk about?
Threadly reminder you don't have to reply to bait, you can ignore it.
I like the cut of your jib.
Also what are these things?
alright. are they supposed to smell like the characters or what? i don't understand why things like this get made but i guess if it'll sell they'll make it.
i really want the victor one
I can't believe I'm going to be obsessively camping Mandarake for a fucking keychain. This show has ruined me.
They're pretty much just regular fragrance beads but with the characters slapped on them. I'd kill for some actual cologne that's meant to smell like what the characters themselves wear, though.
Considering how many of the sets don't include Otabek it isn't surprising. For some reason the merch team thinks Chrispy is more important than Otabek.
Although, he did probably have more screen time.
Yeah, I've never bought a figurine in my adult life, but if Nendoroid makes figures for any of the boys other than Pig and Bald, I'm buying an Otabek in a heartbeat. This fucking show.
>the opening becomes more colorful with each passing episode
why does he look like a little boy?
>Taller than Victor
RIP his solo skating career.
Here's the cover of that Hiramatsu book
probably more, I remember Free being popular but not as much as YOI
I was resistant to it at first, but I'm coming around to the idea of a timeskip with an older Fairy.
>Using homos to promote a tablet
Is this common occurrence in Nipland?
Fujos are the one who use tablet the most to draw their homo doujins
Yuuri got some milk in a baggie for us, he's so kind.
What does the text at the bottom say?
I don't really know that it was hetfags who were bothered by Free's success since it wasn't a gay show, it was more like autistic moebuta who can't stand the idea of female fans having one single fanservice show for themselves. And I think Free did 40k or thereabouts.
I really like the way this artist draws Victor. Handsome and pretty at the same time.
Cause fujos buy them to draw said homos, Wacom knows their market.
Free s1 did 32K for volume 1 after 10 weeks. I think YOI could probably outsell that, but the stalker is saying that it'll probably sell around that number. Who knows though, a bunch of normalfag women could go out and buy it on DVD in stores and bump up the number.
You gotta shatter the glass ceiling somewhere. If studios see that there's money in gay content and start making shows like (or even better than) YOI, I think that's ultimately a good thing.
i seriously laugh every time i see someone call victor busted. broken. kneecaps.
Yeah if they go too far he will be older than Pluskeno and even Puru-sama isn't able to handle things so well these days.
the first instance i can think of where it's gotten so popular, is canon, realistic, and isn't fucking tragic for the both of them? this might as well be a sol anime in comparison to what we've gotten so far, honestly.
Has this one been fully translated? I only saw the first three pages translated
Yeah, I like the art style of YoI, but I find that sometimes the non-Kubo art doesn't do a good job at communicating the fact that Victor is supposed to be like, devastatingly beautiful. Some of the fanart is a lot better in that regard.
Is Yuuri one of those people who are so insecure they get a power rush when they see someone feel hurt because of them? That's how he comes off when he reacted to Victor crying and getting off on people thinking he stole Victor. I wonder if this flaw will be explored.
When I saw his reaction, I thought that he was more... inclined to disbelieve what was happening in front of his eyes, but now that you say it like this, I think that it's possible. It's also in line with his: "His face was priceless when I started to cry."
I meant asshole in a petty way, not in a Yuuri and Victor gain true happiness from each other's suffering kind of way. (Even though Yuuri may or may not have done this already, like >>151570924 suggested)
Kubo herself says they can say unkind things to each other. I'd rather have a more realistic couple that gets into disagreements sometimes than one that's happy happy all the time.
That was the side of him that still sees Victor as an inhuman God so he never expected him to cry. Remember how he poked his head to make sure he was real? It's the same thing, he was genuinely surprised.
Picture you have your waifu in front of you. Some people would be too dumbstruck to react properly and would keep groping her and staring instead of doing something more humanly acceptable.
I'm fine with stuff like that on the condition that it's properly resolved in a manner suiting of two adults, but somehow I feel like we're never going back to that hotel scene, which is a shame.
>not having Phichit as your favourite
Disagreements are one thing, but I think Yuuri took it a little far in episode 12 with how he never apologized and even tried to blame Victor for it. But I'm not in the market for an argument with Pigfats who think he did nothing wrong so yeah.
If Yuuri still sees Victor as an inhuman idol after 12 episodes, then they have problems.
Say it will be resolved in season 2 all you want. The couple we have now is a dysfunctional mess and I see more reasons to root for them breaking up than wanting them to stay together. Everything good about them is told, not shown.
>That's how he comes off when he reacted to Victor crying and getting off on people thinking he stole Victor.
That's how he comes off to you projecting autists. Don't try to map your own autism onto his. Yuuri acted like that because he was shocked that his idol he'd been fanboying over for years cried in front of him and acted like the idol otaku he secretly is.
It has nothing to do with a power rush, it's more to do with the fact that he still sees a distance between them and can't put himself on the same level. Something which, in my opinion, was resolved later in ep 12, which is why I was happy with the finale.
I'm a Pigfag and I think he fucked up. He should have apologized. Still, they communicate through skating, so I'm sure Viktor understood in the end. It doesn't make it okay, but it's a mitigating circumstance.
Hotel scene was mostly resolved, though. Yuuri still didn't think Victor wanted to stay or needed him and Victor thought they both needed each other equally. So it was resolved because they both know they can't live without each other now. Not that Piggy wasn't a jerk there or anything, but I don't think it needs revisiting.
It stopped being a sports anime when it became all about Victor and Yuuri's relationship. Which just continues to show that nothing can involve homos without it being all about homos being homo.
Victor and Yuuri definitely have some serious problems they need to work out, but it doesn't change that they're both the happiest they've ever been in their lives with each other.
Oh, in that case I completely agree. It was such a married couple moment.
Tsundere is the worst dere and that's a fact. Everyone who disagrees should have their heads examined.
Yuuri understands Victor is goofy and playful and emotionally clumsy. He doesn't understand that Victor can be emotionally vulnerable and hurt. His idol being quirky is fine, his idol being a depressed lonely gay mess is something else entirely.
This, it's weird to see someone you've been constantly around for 8+ months to never cry too. Victor always held his feelings in.
Now that he has, it's another illusion finally broken.
Victor needs a fucking hug that isn't at a skating rink. Maybe he will get one after he breaks all his knees.
I kind of don't blame him, they had been living together for over 8 months and Victor never let himself be vulnerable. If someone always acts strong it's shocking when that mask breaks. Yuuri was still a dick for how he reacted though.
>Step 1: Take two skaters in a relationship
>Step 2: The big skate thing is happening, homos decide to compete against each other, the winner gets to make the other do something
>Step 3: Show revolves around homos competing against each other with some homo shit sprinkled in here and there
There just made YoI a thousand times better
Yuuri and Victor are similar in some ways.
They're competitive and can be mean to each other.
They solve their problems through actions instead of words and can never endure being angry at each other for long.
They're both yanderes worse than Hitler stuck in honeymoon phase, that's why they're a perfect match for each other but also disgusting to be around with.
Why is this so hard to understand.
Free was 100% bait and yet we got shows like Magical Boys and Cheer Danshi out of it. Granted neither were good enough for me to finish, but it did have an effect on the industry. Thinking that YOI with have no impact at all is actually delusion on your part.
Because some people don't want to see flawed relationships and when they see one, they immediately label it as destructive even though there are more good things than there are bad things.
I wouldn't go that far. His goofy persona around Yuuri is clearly based around responding to Banquet Yuuri, and Yuuri still doesn't understand the vulnerable depressed Victor behind it. And Victor so far isn't willing to show him.
Others will try to cash in but I'm not sure they'll get why YOI is so popular, it's not just because two guys love each other.
I hope so too. It's partially Victor's fault but I can understand him because no one has been interested, and Yuuri also hasn't given the strongest indications he's interested either, especially with his renewed obsession with Victor as a skater.
That's why I was so frustrated with 12. I wanted this to be a catalyst for Yuuri treating him better but it seemed to go the other way with Yuuri never apologizing or even seeming to feel bad about what he did.
Do people actually think they haven't banged by this scene?
Funny you'd bring that up when Kawoshin unleashed the whole trend of white/gray hair boy acts homo with black haired boy, and white haired anime boys being gay in general, like you see in this very show
They banged after this scene
>Just like Shinji and Kaworu gave us more canon gay in mecha anime right? Oh wait
To be fair do people actually felt it was revolutionary as YoI? I mean, i'm not deying it was gay, but it was just one episode.
Most people probably attribuite Eva success to the waifu faggotry than the albino with 13 minutes of screentime in one episode.
>His goofy persona around Yuuri is clearly based around responding to Banquet Yuuri,
Yes. But after Yuuri told him he only wanted Victor to be himself Victor toned it down. You don't see Victor trying to seduce Yuuri any longer unless for cameras to put on a show and psych Yuuri up.
>Yuuri still doesn't understand the vulnerable depressed Victor behind it
>vulnerable depressed Victor
Please, that's a lot of conjecture. Yes, Victor might be a lonely man, but he's a fool if he really trusted all his hopes and dreams on a drunk skater that humped against him at a party just because he put a lot of effort into copying his program. Crazy fans are going to be crazy fans, Victor should be very aware of that. Besides, it was already confirmed Victor only saw Yuuri as a side project.
I wasn't happy with his reaction, either, but I can see that it's realistic with how deep his insecurities are and that Viktor - even crying - seemed more mad and combative than on the verge of breakdown. It seemed natural to me that they argued instead of comforting each other. And then there's the thing with them communicating through skating rather than words.
Well, they have S2 to learn to communicate better.
Yeah, those are two people who clearly know what excites the other.
Victor is coming at Yuuri pretty heavily. Even in the past I don't feel it was as touchy. At leat not "penis angaist leg" touchy.
>dead-tired after the whole day of practice
>Victor wakes you up in in the middle of the night
>doesn't take 'no' for an answer
>your whole body aches from skating, but Victor doesn't seem to understand
>too drained to even move
>might as well let him do it
Was it rape?
Yuuri won't get fucked until he wins something.
Just intense cuddles, no sex before marriage.
All these shitposters and retards falling for them.
>Yes. But after Yuuri told him he only wanted Victor to be himself Victor toned it down. You don't see Victor trying to seduce Yuuri any longer unless for cameras to put on a show and psych Yuuri up.
He toned it down but it's still there.
>Please, that's a lot of conjecture. Yes, Victor might be a lonely man, but he's a fool if he really trusted all his hopes and dreams on a drunk skater that humped against him at a party just because he put a lot of effort into copying his program.
It's not about Victor and how foolish he is or isn't, it's about Yuuri. Does Yuuri ever get to understand that Victor was depressed and lonely before meeting him? Does he ever get to see that side of him? No, and Victor isn't letting him. He wants to be Yuuri's goofy positive coach.
>Victor has been wanting to fuck for 1 years now
>Yuuri can't literally be apart from Victor
There is no reason to think they haven't fucked by episode 10.
Would make sense after episode 9 scene and why Yuuri gave him the ring.
Anon, I'm a fujo.
I'm just tired of bait that goes nowhere.
>with A-kun by my side I can do anything!
>So let's get into Chick-chan's pants!
I want a non BL series to have a homo couple, that's all.
Your new faggotry is showing.
What is your favourite
cut of pork?
He got a boner, right?
>Victor is the pure, pink maiden
>Yuri has grown into his manliness
The only thing ruining this is the fact that they're not holding hands but fuck it I'll take it.
>it's still there
It's not. Yuuri calls him out on it whenever Victor puts on a role for him when he didn't ask for it.
>Victor was depressed and lonely before meeting him
This is conjecture based on lyrics. Yes, he was at an inspirational block and might even be lonely, but Kubo already said the song is more about someone sharing in the grief of someone else than exposing their own. All this time you have been speculating Victor was depressed because he lacked love in his life, but the truth is he was depressed because his job as a skater wasn't satisfying for him anymore. Yuuri never gets to see that side of him because he heals Victor of it, as Victor says it himself. He heals him to the point that Victor wants to skate again.
You need to get away from the head canons you established in the first 10 episodes and rewatch the last two episodes.
Bald deserves to suffer then.
I still don't get this scene or the reason why they laughed. Like, I think it was supposed to be heartwarming but Viktor just came off as a dick and Yuuri laughed nervously and Viktor foolowed suit.
>Yuuri calls him out on it whenever Victor puts on a role for him when he didn't ask for it.
Yuuri tells him sometimes to not put on airs like he's a model coach, and Victor accommodates him. I think Victor is more genuine around Yuuri than he is around most other people, but he's far from 100% genuine at this point.
>This is conjecture based on lyrics. Yes, he was at an inspirational block and might even be lonely, but Kubo already said the song is more about someone sharing in the grief of someone else than exposing their own.
Anon Victor literally talked about how he had neither love and life before Yuuri gave it to him. He was depressed. Lack of inspiration was a problem for him too, but so was emptiness and depression in general.
It's not really an strecht to think Victor was sad and lonely for whatever reason, the lyrics of his theme literally say "have you been abandoned as well?".
Himself claiming that he was finally shown love and life and all the speech that came with it sounds like his life was numb and empty, not only his skating. Everything in Hasetsu were new experiences he was craving.
Well, Kubo did mention Mila being into him in the context of Yurio having a lot of couples around him so I'd say it's a somewhat safe bet we'll get something along those lines in S2
She was making a joke about everyone in Fairy's immediate circle having romantic interests in somebody. Otabek was literally never said to reciprocate or that Mila is actually going to date him.
>Everything in Hasetsu were new experiences he was craving.
Such amazing experiences like spending time with his dog and eating good food and relaxing. Victor's personal life didn't exist outside of skating, of course he felt depressed.
Because it's obvious he doesn't mean it, he's been nothing but supportive of Yuuri and has shown him he believes in him fully since ep7. That's why the change in attitude comes off as a surprise and Yuuri laughs because - at this point - he also believes that Viktor believes in him.
Victor was saying "get that fucking gold medal already" and Yuuri's retard face looked like "that rings a bell" face but that's just my interpretation
Because Viktor said such a bitchy, un-coach-like thing when Yuuri told him to be himself. Even though he was joking, it was such an out of place thing to say that it made Yuuri crack up.
The directing was weird, it felt like Yamamoto wanted us to take it seriously.
I hope they edit out this particular shot >>151572745 so Viktor's face makes it more obvious he was just fooling around.
You can tell from this shot that he's teasing him.
Why are there no (you)s anymore? I'm fucking triggered.
And I had just saved pic related too.
The only think about him that isn't PD is his ass which Yuuri's was modelled off of. Everything else can go
Yuzu was in YOI. He is relevant to these threads.
No reason to bring it up in that discussion unless she was thinking about going somewhere with it, so I won't be surprised if it happens. It's about the only 'romantic' hint we've gotten from Kubo in regards to Otabek and they're such unimportant characters to the story I don't know why she'd mention it if it wasn't on her mind at all.
You don't understand Harada at all if you think Victor would be the bottom in those doujins. Something like pic related is far more probable.
i knew victor would smell like bergamot. i fucking knew it
I think people got carried away because he entered his apartment like if it was nothing meaning he has a key
But yeah, their interactions were very dry. This is Chris and you know that if it was his boyfriend he would be sitting on his lap the whole time.
>Not putting a lock on the hottest man in Yoi world
That's why piggy is now banging the a rich, hot russian stud that completely depends on his dick why are on sad and lonely posting on /a/ about fictional homos.
Piggy being completely broken, emotionally, mentally and physically.
Both characters have such potential for being batshit crazy yanderes, but judging by her Gintama doujins she'd prefer it to be Victor. I really think it could go either way.
She hasn't drawn them since the very start though.
Piggy is only for tender loving and care!
I want to tenderly abuse piggy and then take care of his wounds! Reverse of pic related when?
I don't think so. Her Gintama doujins aren't the only things she's done. She overwhelming favours the plain black haired characters getting fucked over by beautiful blonde characters.
>>151573502's pic is actually a parody of one of her manga that's exactly like that.
>All the doujin will be crying virgin Yuuri
>Not Eros Yuuri taking control of his man and riding his dick until Victor can't even walk next morning
Well all know Cowgirl Pig is canon after a competition, where the Eros is flowing.
I don't know why but that reminded me of this.
We wait in hope, anon
>fujo show ends
>threads get filled with abuse fantasies of characters
>When fan arts work as canon
What a time to be alive
Please do not abuse piggy
Abusive Victor is gross. You all are crazy if you don't think Yuuri is the abusive one if anything. But that's hypothetical of course because baldfat is pure and gentle and comfy.
I want doujins where Eros Piggy is an aggressive slut who wants to ride Viktor's massive Russian phallus 24/7 but, as expected, he loses to cock in the end.
Making each other cry is jut their kink. That and being filthy furries.
>Making each other cry is jut their kink. That and being filthy furries.
I don't get why people say that. Victor and Yuuri are happy homos.
I feel like people are projecting.
Not really, I buy anime BD and am a patreon of other artists more talented than he is that ask half of what he's asking. I just think he's asking too much and is only milking as much as possible from his thirsty followers.
