Re-read it recently, they were fine by themselves, but it just doesn't compare to the original.

Sechs pretty much becomes the real MC. Gally is just now the big sister that already matured compared to the first series. Still kinda enjoyed how overconfident she acted most of the time.

Still, props to the author to the author for trying so hard to make the universe and everything that happens in it "realistic" by over explaining every little thing, but at some point that just feels unnecessary.

Last order was decent if you get all the books and read the Zott part really fast without waiting 6 months between chapters
Mars chronicle has some decent fanservice and backstory, but doesn't feel like a story at this point, it's more of a documentary with moving focus and not big plan in the end (hence chronicles I guess)
