It was good. It was fun and not overly ambitious for a 1-cour show, so it expressed what it wanted to properly. It could have been a bit better (got too long to really get going). Thankfully, no convoluted plots about Shingo becoming like Gendo or some shit.

Flip Flappers tried too much and failed at what it tried. Matoi is a simpler show done less clumsily. I enjoyed watching FF with /a/ immensely but in the end I think Matoi came out as a better story.
