Only people who grew up in a one or no male child home think this. Speaking as someone with a brother, the behavior between Yuuri & Viktor is very common between brothers. If you see something sexual, you're a pervert.
Blueballing =/= baiting. They already kissed, they are canon homos and have been confirmed as such for nearly half the series. They didn't go the extra mile to confirm their relationship status, but plenty of het series are the same.
It's okay to be gay, anon, it's almost 2017.
>Big deal. Confirming charcs gay outside the show is laziness and BS usually like Korra. Unlike cartoons tho, anime has no censkrship excuse
But it got confirmed by the show? Were you watching?
You and your brother exchanged engagement rings in front of a church? I thought the incest thing on /a/ was a meme this whole time.
Yeah, I definitely ask my bros out on dates, get engaged, kiss them....yeah all the time
Baldfat are disgusting. Not because they're homo but because they're that retarded OTT couple that has new drama every week. The one that can't stop with the PDA and start going stir-crazy when separated for any significant amount of time. Over-invested and obsessed and dragging everyone else into their shit.
how can anyone look at these two faggots look at each other like this and not think they're in love
>it's just bait
Is anyone else having genuine problems understanding what people meant when people call YoI "bait"?
>Fanart and official art basically the same
What an exquisite time to be a fujo.
We should have suspected it was like this, Kubo was saying from the start it was originally meant to be a regular sports anime and the gay ran away from her.
I suspect Victor's character especially took a life of its own. The early staff comments about him are too weird and don't feel like they match how he turned out in the end. He probably was intended to be just a skating genius using a Yuuri as a tool for inspiration, but ended up just being very lonely and sad and gay.
Eros + banquet reveal never stops being funny. Every detail is priceless, from Victor planning to center one of his programs about being seduced and tossed aside by one Katsuki Yuri presumably in competition against Katsuki Yuri, to Yuri going "I can't portray the playboy it just isn't me" when he is literally the playboy it was based on.
How can they top this in season 2?
>He probably was intended to be just a skating genius using a Yuuri as a tool for inspiration, but ended up just being very lonely and sad and gay.
Yeah, probably. And with Yuuri admiring him the way he does and how well they connected, it probably just went from there. Somehow, the fact that it wasn't planned makes it even better.
The early episode scenes really change when you realize Victor has been wanting the pig from day one and knows about his hidden eros kek.
On the other hand they must always have known Victor was gay. Look at who he's based on! And his Weir costumes... and the lyrics of Stammi Vicino, a song he personally commissioned about how sad and gay and lonely he is.
He might have always been gay, but it seems they originally meant the core of his character to be a skater looking for inspiration. That's not totally gone but in practice Victor being a lonely homo desperate for a real connection stands out much more.
Yeah, that stopped being funny, especially when you consider that Viktor probably wasn't even going to try anything sexual, it looked like he wanted a sleepover to try and get to know the guy who has swept him off his feet better.
Many scenes with Viktor stopped being funny.
You can see the pattern sinking in of how badly he gets rejected when he is too forward, unfortunately, and knowing how he goes too far adjusting his behavior in response is a little painful.
Skatefag here. I was lurking some of the archived threads and someone mentioned how Yuzu often wears costumes that are "Johnny Weir-esque". To be honest I'm not sure why this isn't a more well-known fact (I think it's pretty cute) but Johnny Weir has actually designed a few outfits for Yuzu, his Romeo and Juliet one being one of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCEclb7MHh8
Anyway, back to shitposting
This is probably fanart, the coloring doesn't fit the rest of the official promo art. Still pretty gay to have it blown up in a shop of all things and used to promote the anime.
He had years long crush on Victor, but he was too nervous and repressed until recently until he started his sexual awakening thanks to Victor himself.
Yuuri final form is probably banquet Yuuri.
I do think that he was attracted to Yuuko, though, based on his "I went to Detroit to forget about CERTAIN things," said in a way that implied it was to forget about her marrying and having children with Takeshi.
the dicks maybe touching but the balls aren't so no homo
>in MY moeblob megane sex god?
>People who deny this are absurd
No really, especially if you go past episode 1 and you realize how little Yuuko meant for Yuuri and how he had hard time even picturing something he was attracted to.
>lol and here I was thinking that Victor is top in the beginning
Victor is the one with experience, but Yuuri is the one calling the shot in the relationship.
Also Victor is the one with the feminine behaviors and he want(ed) the dick so badly compared to Yuuri that had to do through a sexual awakening.
They switch. If they didn't I would cry due to untapped potential.
It's not official from Mappa unfortunately, but it is promotional art for the new Wacom tablet.
Kiss during ecstatic moments isn't something that would change my view of if I thought someone was gay or not. Kissing cheeks during the craze is standard, you do get the odd mouth to mouth kiss during celebrations as well.
MC is a clingy insane fan. Victor took a drunk too serious/literal.
This is why it's that weird grey area for me, nothing about them was explicitly 'I want to stick it in your pooper and spend decades romantically involved'. It was obsession, didn't have a romantic vibe to it at all. I will concede that Victor may have thought so, as Yuri's romantic experience is nil and neithers personality could be viewed as normal. MC is depressed, Victor obsessed and has performance anxiety.
>>nothing about them was explicitly 'I want to stick it in your pooper and spend decades romantically involved
>"something that would excite me"
>yuuri and viktor can't stand to live apart t. Kubo
He then goes on to spill the spaghetti, as if implying gay and married wasn't his intention. Mixed fucking messages show, mixed messages. Is he meant to be uncomfortable with the idea of being gay? In the closet but everyone knows? Has he actually not thought that the present would imply that, not thinking normal societal symbolism through?
This isn't definitive. Their entire relationship is told through metaphor and implication. You can be fine with that, but just accept that it's an unsatisfying narrative choice with little payoff for some people and stop rehashing this argument a million times over.
Someone needs to edit this with dots but you get the idea.
When I see posts like this, I hear dub voice Yuuri saying "Yeah...that's what it is! A good luck charm! And...a present for Viktor!" while handing over his credit card to buy literal gold wedding bands for them
>I don't know what this feeling is, but I've decided to call it love
You know what, this isn't even bait when I can just reply with lines from the show. Try harder
Yuuri screaming that he knows what love is on live TV and whispering to Victor's ear while holding him by his tie that he wants to show his love to all of Russia are what come to mind. Also Victor saying thibns like how he loves pork cutlet bowls and how he wants Yuuri to seduce him in a performance of sexual love are there too.
I fucking love how triggered fujoshit are by people who disagree with their beloved pairing proving deep down how insecure they are about their shippingshit being "100% canon". They can't even come with arguments other than calling everyone a "retard".
Jesus christ, this entire scene is framed as Yuri fumbling like a five year old not understanding his own feelings, with Victor being unable to understand him. You literally couldn't get less explicit.
It's these kinds of works that make every male ballet, figure ice skater and gymnastics floor performer assumed to be automatically gay. Some of that shit is just the basic performance stances, the whole looking into each others eyes thing is standard fare for a decent performer.
The real question is how much of it they actually mean.
All of these things are presented through metaphors, and it's always about the skating. Not once do they actually speak to each other about their feelings as regular people in love.
Of course it stems from insecurity. There are fucking tons of shows that bait and never deliver, and along comes one that's a hair away from being undeniable but because there's still that wiggle room of doubt there's a fear that it will all be taken away just like every other time. Fujos just want a proper homo end, just this once.
Viktor spent an entire episode telling us how he found love and life through Yuuri.
>Even more so in the slavic region
I love this meme. Socialist kisses aren't a thing anymore. When you want to kiss someone in a non-romantic ways, you kiss their cheek. Usually not even that, you kind of imply a kiss by moving your lips close to the cheek. Even so, this tends to be reserved for family members. The kiss scene would totally read as romantic to Slavs even without context.
And people immediately started doubting Yuuri's feelings when Viktor's became clear even though they used to doubt Viktor's before ep10, saying shit like "well, he only ever acts affectionate with Yuuri in front of cameras." It's downright bizarre.
If you were actually watching the show you would know what that love is called in there and why it was discarded from the start. Thanks for finally admitting you're just here to bait and haven't touched a single episode.
I wish they'd acknowledge this and not sperg all over the baiters. Is it homo? Yes, Kubo calls them a couple, but she and everyone involved also refuse to step over that final line and instead tell people to make their own conclusions. Of course the homo conclusion is the natural one to make, but they are very obviously leaving that wiggle room open for those in denial.
The problem with implications is that years down the line or later, the author/creators can chime and and say something that utterly changes things. Then you have the argument switch back the other way with people crying 'retcon', because the assumption they made (based off implication) turns out to be canonically wrong.
Yuri is a virgin, never had a romantic relationship of any kind. How do we know in 1-2 years time they've stayed together or taken that typical final step that cements sexuality. They are very clingy and obsessed individuals, focused on each other. A relationship it is, but a sexual one it is not, thus how can it be called gay? Super clingy best friends.
>Kubo-san also said that I should take the stance of letting the viewers decide for themselves what's going on and whatever they may think is the right answer."
Yeah they're pussy as fuck
He didn't have a crush on Yuuko. He looked up her as a role model, the words he uses for her are of admiration like akogare.
Why do people keep falling for this one huhe red herring even after watching the whole series? Even the monologue was mostly about how they fangirled over Victor.
>Yuuri is Viktor's mother
>Viktor was born on Christmas day
big fat virgin confirmed
One would think that recording lines such as "Viktor is the only person I've ever wanted to hold on to," "I am the only one who knows Viktor's love, I'm the only one who can satisfy him" and "He's so sexy it's almost enough to make me pregnant" would make it obvious.
You people don't understand what fujobait is. This is a fujo show that wants its audience to believe in Baldfat relationship and doesn't really care about the wants of any other audiences watching it. I don't know why people who aren't even interested in the show fight so hard against it- just watch a show you enjoy and move it with your life, you fucking loser.
/a/ is the breeding ground for shitposters.
You's were better than this dot shit.
He's the one who idolized the man since childhood, dedicated his career to meeting the guy as an equal, turned his room into a shrine, dry humped him naked, asked him to throw everything away and live with him, liked stealing him away from the world, and bought the 800 dollar rings. He just can't be honest.,
>Not explicitly sexual or romantic. Even more so in the slavic region
What do you know about "slavic region" and kisses traditions there other than muh gay Stalin USSR smooching other guy full on the lips picture.
Women kiss each other on the cheek all the time, but men don't do that.
Remember in S2 Victor and Yuuri are living together, And that Kubo called them a couple.
We already won, no need to answer the troll.
You can't blame me when 99% of the time they are, are the other one percent of the time they are newfags who bring up the same argument we've dicussed to death again and don't deserve a reply.
That distinction is retarded and literally doesn't matter.
Have we got news about other edits? They said the OP was changed, but how?
I don't know why they're throwing such a shitfit now when the show was always gay.
And you can tell they don't know shit and probably haven't watched it when they say Kubo is male and make other suspicious mistakes.
>That distinction is retarded and literally doesn't matter
No, it does matter. This is coming from a Baldfat fag who thinks they're homo. You may be fine without it, but a firm confirmation is markedly different from what we have now and wanting one is entirely natural.
>It sure feels like couples just keep popping up around Yurio. (laughs) It even feels like Yakov and Lilia might get back together.
> Then there's Viktor and Yuri, acting the way they do. And Mila's kinda starting to be into Otabek.
Just in case the Mods need to be sure who is evading his ban.
>but het pairings never get love confessions and kisses, my Baldfat is as legit as canon pairings!
why do people keep reposting this shit? the timeslot had nothing to do with the gay, anime is not "highly censored", the only censoring going on was SELF censorship to appease Japan's societal sensibilities.
Look at how cute they are. They've never seen this thread, and they're happy.
Kindly reminder that we already won, guys:
>Kubo: I'm sure Yurio will continue to grow through his interactions with other skaters, so this is definitely something to look forward to. I'm not saying Lilia&Yakov WILL get back together, but it feels that way. (laughs) Then there's Viktor and Yuri, acting the way they do. And Mila's kinda starting to be into Otabek. So it's kinda like, "Please don't forget about Yurio, everyone!" (laughs)
>Q: What was the most memorable scene for you, or one you are glad to have seen animated?
>Kubo: The last scene of episode 7.
>Kubo: The last scene of e7 influenced the flow of the show and left quite an impression. I'm glad I portrayed everything that lead up to it.
>Kubo: I found it funny that overseas fans kept asking for a confirmation regarding ep7 scene - the Japanese fans didn't seem to need any.
>Kubo-san also said that I should take the stance of letting the viewers decide for themselves what's going on and whatever they may think is the right answer."
This is fact that you need to accept.
So am I personally. But I anyone saying it's officially canon are wrong, and I cannot blame those wanting confirmation.
>the guys who kiss each other
>the guys who dance together
>the guys who literally exchange engagement rings
>literally none of their friends/acquaintances are shocked at the idea of them being engaged
I get it, they didn't actually fuck each other on screen, so we just can't know. All of those things were just misunderstandings.
What did he mean by this?
In the dub, he said "Viktor, I need you"
Or you can just google it, there are hundreds of couples, even from shoujo.
So now you need love confession + kiss from the same show, uh? Moving the goalpost much? A love confession means confirmation, 100% canon. Get over it.
They will accuse anyone who disagrees with them of being a samefag.Fujos are retarded.
"Anon is triggering me" isn't again the rules, my friend. You can't report someone for disagreeing with you.
But I like posting het and triggering them.
You realize accusations like this just make everything worse right?
Meaning is the same in dub and sub. He is being insecure again and needs the comforting presence of Victor. It's really sweet how Victor bursts in the room after that and chasse his worries away.
OP has done nothing wrong, the question is only legitimate. The problem is the troll who has already repeated more than 10 times that fujo are retarded or not even human beings. He is only here to trigger people as it's easy to side with the fujo when you see a psychopath like him on the other side.
>so many canon gay ones
>so many canon gay ones
>so many canon gay ones
they listed two which people still no homo and the entire genre of "gay trash manga". Newsflash, sometimes people like to read stories about gay people where the entire story isn't just "we are gay, let's have unhappy sex and die"
Also this one.
It would be hard for him to sleep in that state, though. Could you deny release to a begging piglet?
It literally got homo when they were planning it and then they decided to go with it.
Also before YoI started airing, Kubo tweeted that there was too much het on the market already and that she was hoping to convey a healthy relationship where "gender didn't matter"
No they weren't,m they only insult when they get insulted. They are the ones who explained again and again Kubo's position and the anime contents, not a single one said 'You aren't even a human being'.
Fujo hate propaganda has nothing to do in a YoI thread. It's only natural they are there. The psycho, not at all.
Then you can read good stories about actual gay people like pic related and not fanservice bait shows for fujos.
This pork would turn any vegetarian. Hetfags, just give in
Or this one, written by an actual gay man.
>his face when you agree to get him off
He really wants it, anon. It would be cruel to deny him.
Even if the Pig is begging him for mercy?
>A relationship it is, but a sexual one it is not, thus how can it be called gay?
>When girl + guy have a relationship without sex
>When guy + guy have a relationship without sex
not gay ?
ridiculous. Also, segregating relationships into gay/straight bins is stupid, let relationship be simply a relationship.
Wouldn't want his revealing costumes to reveal anything.
This is mean, anon. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were enjoying this.
You've got it all wrong, anon. I just want the piglet to be satisfied. If anything, I'm the one enjoying it. Sumimasen
What about sliding it between the bootycheeks
As much as I loved it, I wouldn't want it to happen. It was so great because we didn't expect it at all, in S2 it would be like: "oh, they did it again." And how many crucial things can they realistically forget?
Or Viktor demands pig to pay with his body and pig gets all flustered and Viktor says he^s joking but pig gets like, "I'm okay with that actually." Then they finally fuck and we can put such discussions to rest.
Piggy is just a pole dancing whore, nothing to see here.
>All of these things are presented through metaphors, and it's always about the skating.
Like almost everything in the show?
>Kubo said she didn't understand why overseas fans were asking confirmation about the kiss
>She also said it was the most important scene to be animated in her opinion
>Kubo also said they can't live without each other
>Kubo mentioned Victor and Yuri as a couple
>Don't forget they're literally engaged
And still people call it bait and find motive to discuss if it's canon or not. Do you think your opinions change what's been screened or said?
Sure, sure. With the first installment of 800 euro.
They are defintly in love, no question about it, but as for being literally engaged I can't picture Yuri actually planning a wedding in his mind. Victor, maybe. I don't think they would introduce eachother as boyfriends/fiances either. Maybe season 2 will make them label their relationship.
>Some fujoshits still haven't realized they were baited really hard
>They got a kiss
>Characters cannot literally be stand being apart
Yeah, so baited.
